✓ Recent update & cost increaseMy daughter and I were incredibly gutted when we opened the game yesterday to find out the money already taken out of my account the day previous suddenly only pays for half of the games available- unless I want to be charged an extra $6.99 this month for her to have access to all of the games, like she has for a while now. She is turning 3 in a week and a half and can’t comprehend why this is happening. She was in tears all day. Unnecessary stress, and I truly expected more from the company I have supported and adored my entire 30 years of life. I wasn’t warned about this, and I’m sure I’m not the only one upset about this. The game is wonderful and I would like to purchase a year subscription when feasible- but the lack of notice and the way you locked every item she’s played with and integrated them through free games is impossible to navigate or understand, especially for kids who are young and the main reason you have people paying to play this game. Now I’ve wasted $4 and have to spend a month watching my child upset, and being disappointed- not to mention families all over who used this app. There is no way I’m the only one experiencing this..Version: 2.12

My kid (3yo) enjoys the game but it’s very limiting and sometimes confusing to him as there’s clear objectives and progress bar (which doesn’t foster creativity, it fosters rule following) what I dislike the most is a long unskippable video ad for the full version every time we open the app, and how little features there are for free. Don’t hide everything behind a paywall, just make the app a paid app. So frustrating. The pets are fun to hatch, dress up, and feed. The pet music game could be a game on its own, my kids spend most of the time playing it, sooo good! ✓ What happened?My children love this app. It’s so creative and fun. However, after installing an update it signed us out even though we paid for a year (year is up June 2020). It won’t allow me to restore purchase or anything. Keeps telling me to pay. On top of that I tried to contact someone through the email address on the app and it got returned said it couldn’t be sent to the address. Not sure what’s going on but that’s upsetting after I paid for the year. Update: This has become increasingly frustrating. The website you provided for support will not allow me to email to it. On top of that, I get a message from the phone number about not opening again until Thursday December 26 even though it is now the 27th. Can anyone help me out with this? ✓ Fun app with issuesMy daughter and I are huge fans of Crayola so of course we subscribed as soon as we saw this app! She totally loves it, especially the coloring and making items in the molds. However there are a couple issues that caused us to eventually cancel our subscription. One is that the app is very temperamental. Some days we just flat-out couldn’t get it to load, other days it would load very slowly, other days it was fine. The other problem we had was that it takes up TONS of room on her iPad! 3GB! This was over 3x bigger than any of her other apps and when you only have 16gb to start with, that’s huge! We would love to resume our subscription if they can streamline the app with reliable, fast loading times, and have it take up much less space..Version: 1.18

Continue the game without a subscription, or get the free trial, and lastly pay for the actual subscription. ✓ A huge downgradeBack in 2008, there was a free online application called Crayola Digi-Color that allowed you to free draw with nearly every crayola product…FOR FREE! There was no subscription paywall, it was completely unrestricted and super fun. The fact that this is technically its successor since Digi-Color has been discontinued since 2016 with no recovery method discovered by the archive community is so disappointing. Crayola really has the nerve to have a subscription service for this app when digi-color was free? There’s PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS like sketchbook for ipad that are free, yet this is paywall blocked. I doubt the crayola team will see this, but you guys need to step back and be for real for a minute. Lower income children will not be able to enjoy services like this that cost extra when many can barely afford a 24-pack of physical crayons point blank..Version: 2.11

My 3-year old daughter is sitting next to me now and very upset that all of the things she used on the app are now locked. And Crayola wants another $10 a month - or whatever the fee is - to use the software now. Give us back the old version! And if you want to try and come up with some excuse to charge people more a month, just make a new piece of software. I have no issue paying for software when it’s upfront about the costs. ✓ Great game... when it worksMy 4 year old son absolutely loves this game and has been playing it for almost two years. It has a ton of educational games for him to play. The only problem is the game freezes or crashes all the time. It has especially gotten worse in the past six months. I have it on an iPad 5 running the most current software and it still crashes. Right now it won’t even get past the main screen. Yesterday it would freeze when he tried to color a picture. Hopefully there will be a patch soon to fix this on going issue. ✓ HorribleThis game is horrible. In the beginning when it shows you all the features, it crashed my phone almost 10 times. After waiting patiently rebooting my phone around ten times rewatching the beginning, I get greeted to a subscription screen where you cannot exit out of till you pay for a subscription. You may think that “oh this is going to be a nice coloring book app for kids to learn in a fun way with technology” but for 4.00 dollars a month I am not paying when I could go print out pictures on a computer for a kid to draw on or go to a simple coding website for kids. ( at my school we were actually required to learn coding before going to middle school). If you just do your research you could get these same exact things from the app for free. I don’t like how the club to do everything but the people don’t have to club only get to do a few things almost all the games are close for the people that don’t have club and it’s kind of expensive. One of the things I’m most don’t like about the club is the prizes. I think it is super unfair that the club people get the prizes but people don’t have the club don’t. ✓ Not worth the dramaI would like to give some feedback on this app. I downloaded it thinking it would be great for my 5 year daughter to use but didn’t realise that it only gave a 10 min trial period and than keeps prompting for the full version to be paid for. It’s not a cheap price at all and $40/year is an absolute ridiculous amount to be charging for a kids app. It is hard for children to understand why they can’t play the app due to the trial period expiring and the prompt every time they try to do something is frustrating. I am thinking about deleting the app from her ipad soon as it’s now annoying us. Sorry for the negative review but as a parent this sort of thing needs to be voiced for others..Version: 2.13.1

✓ No Longer Has A Free VersionThis app went from being able to play some games/activities for free and you can add the subscription to unlock the full version. Now since the update that no longer exists and only allows 10 minutes a day to play without subscribing monthly or year. Not even just a one time fee to have it always. My child liked the games that were once available to play without a subscription. It’s a shame that this company decided to go this route. Seemingly just out for money.
