✓ InterestingThis was an interesting app however might have even -payed with it some. However I have no interest paying for a subscription. Id eve payed $99 for the app if is was good enough but I sure am not paying $99/yr. Sorry guys, I have just over 300 bottles I track with VinoCell and I don’t have to pay a subscription fee. If you will reconsider your payment model I will consider your app and compare it with VinoCell but until then I am out. I have no problems with paying for good apps, I am just not interested in subscription fees. I do however which you luck with your app, in is good seeing another bottle tracker in the store..DarknetoneVersion: 2.9.86

✓ Clunky, poorly thought out wine entry processReally disappointing. Added my first wine and ran into two problems. First is that the grape was not on the select list. No way to add the grape. I had to select Other only to discover that they would review the new entry for inclusion in the database. Well that’s completely useless bc they will not be able to identify the wine without the grape. Dumb. Why not let folks add their own varietal? Then the app publisher have enough info to research and add new wines. Second is the clunky UI flow for adding a wine that isn’t in the database. Whenever I searched for a value that was not on the list and selected add I had to renter the search term that I had just thumbed on my phone. This happened for winery and something else. Not well designed. Worse, I found a Wine by this winery in the wine list, but it was not in the list of wineries. Causes me to suspect that I’ll see this a lot given the wines I collect. Tried the scan label feature. Useless. And the app didn’t reuse the picture when I selected to add a new wine. After raking 5 minutes to add my first wine, not sure I want to use the app given how many bottles I would have to add. Hey I can’t make a full time job of helping build the apps database! And I sure don’t want to spend ages slogging thru a clunky user interface flow. ✓ Recognizes zero of my wine bottlesHad high hopes for this app - but started scanning to add my first bottles, and the app could not recognize any labels. I tried 5 different brands including Black Sage and Summerhill - both mainstream wineries available in stores and restaurants, should have been recognized. ✓ App crashes at sign inIn order to use app you need to sign in with google account or create an account. When you try to sign in with google it crashes, thus making the app useless..J1234.,?!',Version: 1.4.4

✓ IPad only in landscapeIt is nice to finally have an iPad app but the forced landscape mode is unfortunate. I have an iPad mounted beside my cooler but can only fit in portrait mode. Unfortunately, the app now only works in landscape..Arc-fVersion: 3.6.8

✓ Miserable All AroundHorrendous UX. The image recognition works 10% of the time. The wine list “importer” is a scam. There is no auto-import, instead it’s a way to collect your email so they can “curate” your list, which is something they tell you only after you burn time on the exercise. You should be able to click on a shelf and add a wine in real time, but instead, you have to add it to your inventory first. What a horrible waste of time and shows literally zero thought was put into this app. They’re definition of rows and columns is incorrect when you set up your fridge. Rows are horizontal and columns are vertical…this is literally 101 stuff. You’re also unable to add bottles from the web app. A simple type to search would be very simple to add There’s no way the number of good reviews they have is real, especially when you compare their number to those of their direct competitors (10x the number of reviews, that’s suspicious). ✓ Great promise, but database just unacceptably empty.Enjoyed this for about a year or so, full featured and now apparently adding some sort of AI assistant. Unfortunately, I’m finding the scan label fails to identify a new bottle over half the time. I’m tired of typing in the label information only to scroll through page after page of wrong guesses. ✓ Not ready for useLooks like a solid concept, but not ready for use. One, the navigation for importing from CellarTracker lacks clear direction, though I did figure it out. Most troubling is that the import added about 30%of my collection and needs me to review and identify the rest as they don’t have these labels in inventory. ✓ Nice app but not very edit friendlyI started using the app to catalog my cellar which was not well organized. In doing so I found that if I made an error or wanted to go back and add data to an empty field the app showed its limits very quickly. Getting a wine logged is simple - scan the label and off you go for the most part. It didn’t take long to encounter a wine that wasn’t in the database. Gerard Bertrand Cap Insula Red Blend Languedoc 2017. Adding it was fairly straightforward though I only added 2 bottles which I had located first. Adding additional bottles requires starting from scratch. There should be a way to just edit the quantity field up. It can be decreased as wine is consumed but not the reverse. Also, adding multiple vintages of the same wine is a pain. I have 7 vintages of one wine and had to add each one as if it were a separate bottle. Please allow adding bottle count and adjustment of the vintage fields. I will add a star to my review. More to come as I add bottles!.Chris TerlizziVersion: 1.5.3

✓ Does it work?Tried the Aspire version. Still is buggy. Can’t edit the vintages when the scan fails. Can’t enter location for a scanned label missing location. ✓ It’s Okay…I live in Napa and frequent smaller, but certainly not obscure or hard to find wineries and I stopped this app after having to enter two wineries and a couple of wines just 2 shelves in to the data entry. I have an 80 bottle cooler and went with the free version, locating my wines isn’t an issue, but the AR looks pretty cool. A couple of suggestions, it’d be nice to have an auto-fill feature instead of retyping every entry for each wine. The same auto-fill for the location of the wines. It’d also be nice to filter or select how my wines are listed in the Collection tab, I’d like to sort by location as well as name. Thanks..LapresleVersion: 2.9.26

✓ Better interface than vivino but lacking some functionalityIt would be good to know and be able to add more details about a wine (eg. vineyard, vintage characteristics, soil features, method, additives, etc), to see greater controls to ensure that wine details in the existing database are accurate (I already found several wines where the country and grape varietals were wrong - there should be a way to offer corrections rather than just adding a new wine for review), the ability to see verified somm reviews, and a way for verified winemakers to add wines and details about the wine (e.g. tasting notes, vineyard history and other info as noted above). It’s great to be able to compose a wish list, but I’d also love to be able to share tags/themes with my husband so that he can see what kinds of wines I’m interested in at a given time for gifts etc. E.g. ✓ Still trying to get it rightSo I imported my wines from Vivino, issue is it imports everything, rates, pictures, wishlist, etc So to manage the cellar is almost impossible since it mix all the past wines with the ones currently in the cellar Tried again just import the cellar from Vivino, nos is showing as empty collection…. ✓ Nice App, but…… not at $10/month nor $100/year just to visualize location in a cellar/fridge. Seems to be built for corporate use… That being said, InVintory has a clean interface and visual presentation that makes it relatively easy to use and pleasant to look at when using in “free” mode. Other than the aforementioned price, the ease of building a cellar/fridge could be improved upon by permitting the addition of same-vintage wines at a designated start point, versus confirming each position before adding the next bottle, which makes it more cumbersome..AlwaysMacVersion: 2.9.28
