✓ 3.99 PER ISLAND?!?The in app price per island is absolutely ridiculous. Over priced, not worth what you pay. You can get other Pepi apps with much more content for less than what you pay for one island on this app. EDIT to reply to developer: I’ve actually paid for all the other pepi apps. My daughter has all of them. My point was so little content you get per island for the price. 3.99 PER ISLAND. I don’t mind to pay if it was reasonable, but I’d like to get my money’s worth. ✓ Great game, but..My kids love this game but I think it’s ridiculous that in app purchases are not shared with family members. I’d have given 5 stars if not for this oversight, I shouldn’t have to pay over $40 to unlock this game on both our devices 😖😠 I already posted this review once but I had a response saying that Apple does not allow in app purchases to be shared. ✓ Why…This game was sooooo amazing. I’m sure with the new update it’s even better. But you usually could unlock the islands by watching ads, which makes sense considering the devs need money. I was perfectly happy with that system, but now you can’t even do that. Plus, each island is bought separately, which is SUPER expensive. If you’ve foot loads of money (which most kids don’t) then go for it. But I (sadly) will be uninstalling the game. If the ad thing is ever brought back, I will be so happy and return to playing the game. ✓ Unable to share in app purchases anymoreThe restore purchase button does not work. It’s not active, nothing happens when I click it despite reinstalling the app and restarting the iPad. I purchased this on my device to share with 2 child devices with all add ons, it worked fine on child devices for a while but after updating one iPad it can no longer access the extra and wants me to pay again (nope). ✓ Great, however...The other people and I have bought the full version, however even though we bought the full version, we still can’t go into certain places on the new island. It’s very aggravating due to the fact we’ve already used ours or our parents hard earned money. I have no problem with the game, it can keep you occupied for hours to be honest, but seriously if we have to buy even more on the fully paid FULL version of the game, at least know that we are using our own or our guardian’s hard earned money. She was looking forward to the third island been unlocked, and the other day when you announced it was available, she got all excited, only to then find out we couldn’t unlock it. I sent messages to the developers on Facebook, but they only ever read my messages and not reply! I didn’t know what to do, as I want it on my daughters iPad for her to play. ✓ Great game but with some hard crashes that reset gameplayMy daughter loves this and it’s a well executed game of discovery with great visuals and no ads that annoy. However there have been a few cases of spontaneous crashes. Not enough to completely render the game unusable but a few times after a long session the game blew up. Usually after putting animals on the boats it seems. Not sure if that’s the cause. This is with the full purchased version. However this is certainly one of the better games and despite the crashes my daughter keeps coming back to it and finding new discoveries and combinations of adventure and treasure hunting. ✓ GreedyWe have two iPads with two different iCloud accounts but uses family sharing. We’ve unlocked some of the games but not always with the same account thinking family sharing will kick in just like most of the other apps on here. They made the app free but the games within an in-app purchase similar if you bought gem bundles. This made it so that the game “unlocked” cannot be shared by all your Apple devices. My daughter loves playing with their app but to ask to pay $3.99+tax for the same world/game for every single device in our household without any difference in content is ridiculous! I guess parents now have to pay for the convenience of being able to let your kid play with whatever device is available. Yes, kids shouldn’t have access to all the electronics. Yes, kids should have other activities within the day. That one instant however, when your toddler is having a melt down, and you know this game would calm her down but oops it’s not the device where you made the purchase but instead on the iPad that is dead, makes you think how much greedier developers could be. Your app is awesome and simple enough for my toddler to understand how it works, but c’mon! I was willing to pay for each app, as well as the multiple in-app purchases within the game but to ask me to pay for the same content just so I can have it in my other Apple device is just greedy.
