✓ App has just stopped workingBosch tech support has been promising that a new version of this App, which hasn’t worked properly in 2020. Such a shame that the new update makes no difference. ✓ So clunky.The mower’s great - much better than my previous (original) Indego. But the app is so clunky. The sign in process is terrible and doesn’t integrate with Apple’s password auto fill. It logs me out every couple of months, which is tedious. Notifications come in chunks - I get none for weeks then suddenly 15-20 in one go that need removing one-by-one. Much of the time it doesn’t connect to the mower. And I regularly need to go out in the cold and rain to enter the PIN on the mower because something went wrong (like a power cut). I’m not sure why the mower seemingly uses just 3G, not Wi-Fi to connect, given it would give a far more reliable connection.._Piers_Version: 4.0.3

✓ Great S+500…Bad App!Dear Bosch Team, I love the new robot mower, and I appreciate what you’ve tried to do with the app. Seeing the map of our garden and location of the mower is really cool… but there are some really big deficiencies with the app. Like the other user reviews, I have found the app freezes frequently. However, the most frustrating thing is that you can’t edit basic mower controls via the app. For example, I set up smart mowing but I’m not able to edit my original preferences. ✓ Poor experienceThe app initially showed a map and progress but no longer does so, even though the robot keeps going. I have no idea whether it is close to finishing or not. The auto schedule tells me that the mower needs 9 hours a day but only schedules 6 hours four times a week in completely dry weather. Most of the issues are with the app not the mower, although I it also has issue docking itself. ✓ Worked well, now several bugsThe app worked well in 2022 (although didn’t allow you to change lawnmower settings remotely) but updates over the spring have meant a) you keep getting logged out and b) there is an intermittent connection error that regularly stops you from using the mower. The link to ‘contact developer’ takes you to a generic webpage without any contact facility. Update: I now get told the temperature is out of range and the mower refuses to leave its dock, despite it being 15C and dry outside. ✓ HorribleHad this App and the Indigo S+ 500 now for 3 days and all I can say is the App is terrible, I’d expect more from a company like Bosch, what a bad user experience. Buggy, slow and crashing all the time, disappearing mowing schedules that reappear later, mower not staring at the selected schedule, it’s just generally over all really bad !! ……the mower is also currently not much better when it runs, I just hope it’s still in learning mode otherwise it will be returned to where we bought it.JimP75Version: 4.0.2

✓ Getting worse.I’ve had the Indego S500+ for a couple of years. It’s good, and Bosch support was excellent when the power supply had a problem. The app has always been a bit unreliable and the new version is much worse than the old one. It often won’t communicate with the mower, or with me. Then I have to kill and restart, when it makes me login again even though I’ve told it to stay logged in, and then still sometimes won’t talk to the mower..SeedyOneVersion: 4.0.1

✓ Very basic functionality that has not been improved in 3 yearsThe app does work to set the mower off, pause and send it back to its dock. It also shows the location of the mower but that's quite temperamental and you often need to close and reopen the app to get it to work. The automatic scheduling works well. The main issue I have with the app is that it has not had a single improvement in 3 years. There are so many opportunities to improve it, I find it amazing that Bosch have not bothered. Some examples: The mower gets stuck a lot and when it does the app is completely useless until you manually move the mower and put your pin in. This is incredibly frustrating at least 50% of the benefit of a robot mower is that it can mow your lawn when you're not at home. The app should have a feature to remotely get the mower unstuck. E.g reverse , forward, left , right. It could even send a message to the mower to try & free itself. Another feature would be to allow you to pause the current mow cycle while the mower is charging. Say if it's starts raining while it is charging, you have to tell it to mow and then tell it to return to the dock. Come on Bosch. Based on the lack of innovation I would look at other robot mowers instead of Bosch when I upgrade..Angus159260Version: 3.4.0

✓ App just doesn’t workWhen you download and pair the app, it works for about a week. And then the problems start. It’s constantly either showing the wrong info the indego offline message. The only fix is to delete the app, repair and start again. Back it goes to the shop!!.Fordy1234Version: 3.4.0
