✓ Cute but sad!The app is easy to understand and use thankfully! It’s really helpful with my new kalimba I just got! Yet it doesn’t recognize my notes when I have recognition mode on to pay with my actual kalimba. I really want this fixed so i can learn to play!.Version: 2.4

✓ Daym, that's so ezThose songs are so EZ, there are no chords, just melody, and this just like a simulator, u can not even play it with your real kalimba.Version: 4.1
✓ Great concept but lacks musicalityThe music is the same that you’ll find tabs for Kalimba with much being Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese music, but pretty. The problem I have with the app is that the timing is poor in dropping the notes. Each measure is fine, but the count at the end coming into the next measure is not right. Maybe this is an Asian thing but western music is timed carefully in each measure. So playing the music the way it ought to sound is off. Either I play the notes to hurry up and wait or if I slow it down there is a lag and then the background music is off. It is strange. If you could fix this then it would be nicer. I do like the app though and if I find it was operator error (my mistake in using the app) then I will come back to change my review. I have only been using it an hour, but I do play the Kalimba.Version: 1.8
✓ CrashesIt crashes every 30 seconds and turns my phone off maybe it’s a bug or my phone but it doesn’t work so don’t recommend.Version: 2.4

✓ “Kalimba Connect” doesn’t connectUnlike what the app leads you to believe, it can’t actually sync with the audio from your real kalimba. It has a button to turn on music recognition but it doesn’t actually do anything. Real bummer, I guess it would be alright if you don’t have a real kalimba but if you do it’s not helpful in learning to play..Version: 2.4
✓ Bug AppAfter playing for two weeks with sounds, then the sounds stop working. It works when plugging in headset but not without. The apps listening features don’t work when playing with a real kalimba. I removed and reload app and will have issues. Sent message to developer but not responding to messages..Version: 2.4

✓ Way too many advertsI’ve just got a Kalimba and I think I’d like this app but I really can’t cope with all the adverts so unless there’s a way of stopping them then I won’t be using it. It wastes too much time waiting for them to finish.Version: 2.4

✓ Doesn’t workIt doesn’t even use the microphone, it doesn’t ask for permissions and in settings there isn’t a microphone option. It doesn’t hear the kalimba and you can’t play the song without it hearing that you hit the kalimba note. It does have lots of songs though, but you have to upgrade for a lot of them. Doesn’t matter if I can’t play them though does it😂.Version: 2.4

✓ Falls advertisement.They say it’ll detect your kalimba so you can follow along with the app but it doesn’t. They never updated their software for it to do that. ✓ Nice butI just ordered my first Kalimba and downloaded to practice and learn some songs. My issue is; the timing is off somehow. Like I know a song and I’m like it’s not that slow. ✓ MisleadingYouTube videos by the developer make it seem like you can play a real Kalimantan and it will register your notes as correct or incorrect within the game. Doesn’t work. You can tell it’s hearing the notes but that info does not get passed to the game. Very disappointing..Version: 2.4

✓ Doesn’t recognize real Kalimba!I tried to use it with my real Kalimba! but it’s not recognizing, I checked with my mic privacy settings and the app isn’t even there which means it’s fake listening! When you install any software that uses the mic it has to ask for permission to use the mic which this isn’t the case here, So how is it supposed to recognize the real Kalimba?! ✓ Never using againThis app is terrible! I am unable use my real kalimba with it! It does not ask for my microphone so that might be the biggest issue! Wooo be changing my review once it gets fixed but till then I would not recommend to any IOS users!.Version: 2.4

I can see the microphone symbol is showing that it is hearing the notes, but it just doesn’t recognize I’m playing the same note it wants me to. Even though I am, and I’m in tune.
