✓ ADS!!!!App was flawless up until recently, I hop back on the game and use the app, only to find out that im being penalised by ads just for looking at one item, like legit the ads are ridiculous. I understand the need for ads and to make money to keep servers going but this is brutal, you guys are basically waterboarding us with ads until we give in and buy your predatory and extortionate MONTHLY prices. ✓ BannedBeen banned because I saw a couple of trades on RL Garage saying “40credits to play a 1v1 and if you win then I give you the fennec.” I thought that that was a good idea and I didn’t want my fennec anymore and I was going to give it away to someone but I saw this and thought that this might make it more fun and I might get some credits. Lots of people text me thinking they could buy it for 40credits but I said that it was 40credits to play and if they beat me they could get the fennec. Lots of people then started texting me saying that they were going to ban me so I blocked the people because I thought I couldn’t get banned and now I have lost my account. And I wasn’t even trying to scam anyone. The app was good until I got banned for nothing..Version: 1.9.9
✓ Nothing worksI’ve used Rl Garage a handful of times and not once was I satisfied with my experience. I login, and try to post a trade, and or try to contact another user for a trade, and I am always unable to do so. Messages never load and it keeps giving me a pop up saying to contact rl garage support. So I follow the given directions and even the email support doesn’t work. I am greeted by a message saying “incorrect captcha,” even though I’m doing everything right. I’m not sure what else to do but delete the app and leave a bad review. I have friends with the app that say it works just fine, and I have others with the same problem that I do. It would be great if the developers of rl garage could fix their lousy app..Version: 1.9.9
✓ If I could rate lower I wouldI loved this app however I stopped using it for months. I came back to it and my account has been banned for inactivity and it tells me this through a message. I contact support and they tell me I scammed a load of people which I did not do. ✓ Sometimes gets annoyingIt is very useful for finding trades but when it comes down to actually doing it there is an issue for me. When I try to chat to the person. It tells me that I have to link an account from a platform. When I try to do so, it always comes up that it can’t connect. For example, I hit the button to link my Xbox account and it will just load until it says, “Xbox Live Profile lookup failed”. I don’t get why it how it would look up my account in the first place. I didn’t even put in my email/password? I think, whatever I’ll just log into another platform and just explain why I’m actually on Xbox but it says I’m in pc/psn. Every single platform had an issue and I can’t chat/comment/post trades. I would be nice to fix the log in process or make it so that you can actually do something on the app without having to log in..Version: 2.1.4
✓ DownhillApp was good about 2 years ago, then they updated it, started a subscription service, added adverts, and now the app is constantly laggy, slow, or has errors! ✓ Needs major improvementsWhile aesthetically pleasing, this app is incredibly frustrating from a usage standpoint. See below: I have tried to update my profile photo for three days and all I get is a white screen that says “updated” in small font, while I go back to my profile and nothing has changed. The app slows my phone down by an incredible amount after a short amount of time. The push notifications from other app users messaging you also comes out as symbols rather than letters from the message sender. The filtration also could be better; for some people who are new to trading they may want to find for ex. an unpainted mudcat gxt on switch, all the while that item is untradable. This would leave a novice trader in and endless search for said item. Tonight I can’t even connect to the app. I’ve been trying for well over an hour because I needed to contact a fellow trade partner, but I repeatedly come to a failure to connect screen. All in all there are aspects that I like about the app, but the negatives at this point outweigh the positives of what you get out of it..Version: 1.9.9

✓ Good app but terrible communityFrom my experience on rocket league garage there is a brilliant trading system. It’s easy to get in touch with people, trade and find the items you want. The community on the other hand is appalling, there are tons of scammers on this site who want to take your items through the blueprint glitch. I’ve also met a lot of people who are rude and offensive. In my time I’ve reported over 6 scammers and all the feedback I receive from mods is thanks for making the community clean. Clearly they need to find a better way at banning scammers as tons of my friends have been scammed by people while using this app..Version: 1.9.9

I opened up the app to try an put up a post for a mainframe, but the app says I am not logged in, despite me checking for confirmation. ✓ Great in theory, and I love the website...But I can basically only log into the app once every time I download it. After that, if I launch it, it just keeps getting stuck at the launch screen with the flipping octane. I have to delete it, download it again, and log in again (although sometimes not that last step). By that point, I may as well just use my browser. Plus notifications have never worked. I try to select that I would like them but it just gets stuck at that screen. Even after iOS asks me to confirm that I want to allow notifications, I can’t get past the apps notification set up screen unless I set my selection to not allow notifications. Just the be clear, this has been going on since I first got it a few weeks ago, and has continued through at least one update. Please fix these bugs and add 2FA. If posible, look into a way to automatically port an entire inventory from a psyonix account into the app just by singing into it, and allow for that ported inventory to be filtered or ordered by present rl.insider valuation averages. Consider also showing average trade range in the corner of inventory items so they can be easily seen without having to be individually selected. Finally, a way to select multiple items at once from that ported and easily evaluated inventory to be posted for trade.Version: 1.9.9

✓ Some issuesThere’s too many issues I have with the app in general but there are two main ones I have an issue with: battery consumption and ads. This app drains phone battery so quickly and it does it for absolutely no reason. It drains battery faster than Snapchat and tiktok combined in a shorter period of time to the point where I can’t even have the app open for more than 15 minutes without seeing a major change in my battery level. I’ve actually checked and it drains more battery than COD mobile. Idk how it’s possible when nothing is usually happening on the screen, except for ads, which is my second biggest issue. ✓ Almost crashes your deviceOkay so I’ve been on this app for about 7 months and for the most part it’s been amazing, maybe a little bit of text lag here and there but it was fine until the most recent update it has been absolutely terrible. Every time I open the app it goes the the trade post screen and then crashes, and it crashes every other app on your mobile device unless you delete it, and when it does open the app the text lag is almost 2 minutes, and message delay is absolutely awful. And the worst part is when the app doesn’t crash and you can be on it the prices are incorrect in every way. It tricks people into thinking that their item is worth more or less. ✓ Poorly builtThis app serves a great purpose. As far as RL trading goes, it’s certainly the most active and reliable platform. If you wanna get into trading, you need this app. It’s also extremely well moderated and they do their best to keep it clean. There are still many spammer, scammers, and trolls, but I don’t blame that on RLG. However, the app (and website) are a disaster. They are both constantly glitchy and very slow. There are various different bugs that you’re likely to encounter about half of the time you’re on the app. There’s a severe input lag when selecting different items and sending messages. The servers die on this app more often than they die on Rocket League, and that’s saying something. I still use this app because it provides a service that I really like but I do so begrudgingly because it is truly a mess. It’s a shame..Version: 1.9.8
✓ High potential but falls shortI’ve been waiting for this app for a long time, and I’m so glad that it was finally released. You can see the care and attention to detail in the art design, but unfortunately I can’t say the same about the functionality. While most of the functions from the site are available in the app, it is plagued with never-ending losing screens and constant log-outs. I can use the app just fine for a few minutes or a few searches, but if I leave the app for a while or maybe put it in the background, I’ll land on an endless loading screen when trying to perform just about any action and I am forced to restart the app just to get a few more mins of functionality. I would also suggest a more streamlined method of searching for items. The current system works fine, but when compared to the RLTP, it just takes so much longer to find the item as well as specify attributes. I highly recommend the removal of spell check in the search field as well, as many of the item names are not common words and auto-correct will have you not only wind up with an incorrect search, but it also adds a space at the end of the word, so even if auto-correct provides the correct item, it will still add a space resulting in a empty search. Overall, I am excited to use the app and hopefully some QOL updates will allow me to continue using it over the website..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Desperately needs a patchThis app is super convenient because it’s really nice to be able to post and bump trades without having to get out my laptop. The interface looks good and is easy to use and navigate and I think this app has a lot of potential to be really useful. However, it’s currently filled with bugs that make the app unusable. The only way to resolve these issues is to delete and reinstall the app, which is obviously not practical and very frustrating. ✓ Account Deactivation?Dear rlg administrator or developer, around 3 weeks or so ago, I had received a notification saying that my account had been de activated. I had not been given ANY prior warnings and had been on good terms with everyone I had traded with. I was not notified of my reason for the ban/deactivation. I was also never pushed to read their trade rules or acknowledge them when I signed up for an account. As far as I know, I haven’t broken any of the trade rules to get you banned or warned. To add, I have already submitted a ticket about my problem around 3 weeks ago and haven’t received a message or email that was associated with my account. ✓ BannedI was recently banned from the game for a trade scam. What happened was someone wanted to buy and item I was trading I told him it was sold he got mad said he really want it. I told him there was nothing I can do it’s gone he then told me I was being reported for scamming him for a fake deal. After countless tries to reach the support line it didn’t work one single time every-time I tried the message would get an error. I emailed asking for reasoning behind it and they never respond. I’m deeply disappointed in the management of this app I hope they get rid of everyone and replace them with people who can take the time to really look into reports as well as genuinely care about the community. I sense a serious lack of care for the players of the game. The app only cares for the people buy and selling items. ✓ Needs To Address Major Performance IssuesGreat and useful app, but I have to draw the line here. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and ever since ads(?) were introduced, the app has been delayed, slow, sluggish, and borderline unusable. My relatively higher-end phone should handle an app like this no sweat - but for some reason, it’s struggling with RLG... Don’t get me wrong - I fully and completely support the developers in their need to be compensated fairly for their work. However, this need is affecting usability of the core product, and that is unacceptable. In my opinion, finding a way to implement ads in a resource-efficient manner should be of utmost priorities for the dev team, even before the rollout of any exciting newly-planned features. I’ve been a heavy user of RLG and I think they’ve done some great things recently. It still works and Dark Mode is in which is good. ✓ Extremely laggy and always has the worst bugsThe game has a delay on everything i do, and currently when i try to send messages, they just completely disappear. Whenever i go to my profile it always takes at least 4 tries for it to work, and also whenever i search for items the game takes at least 5 seconds to load and then just comes up with an error half the time. Some of the problems I have been getting are: not getting some message notifications, app is taking absolutely forever to load and sometimes ends up with error, logging in to the app but messages are not appearing, messages taking forever to load; mostly just loading issues everywhere. It’s also not like I have bad internet and a slow phone. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times and I’m still receiving the same issues. ✓ Mediocre appThe reason why this app doesn’t receive a good review is because of three main factors. 1) Recently the app has been horribly not user-friendly. It’s been changing the maximum brightness of my phone for no reason, it heats my phone up, and the messages notify me late even when the first two errors aren’t occurring. 2) The user base is pretty toxic and do not attempt to negotiate. Reporting their behavior is too time consuming. 3) the app states that there is “training portion” but that’s no where to be seen. ✓ Most unstable app I’ve used in a long timeI’m a fan of RLG, been a member for 5 years now. Just recently, I’ve been introduced to the app, which I thought was a nice idea. I wanted an easier way to get notified of messages so I wouldn’t miss trade opportunities. Unfortunately, for now, I have to give 2 stars because around 80% of the time I try to open the trading tab the app crashes. This will happen several times in a row, to the point that I don’t even want to mess with the app and I’ll use the mobile site. Not to mention the way mobile ads are nowadays. I get that they’ve gotta monetize somehow, but when things like RLCD’s free bot exist, I’m dissuaded from using their design feature if it’s ad-heavy. Overall, if the app didn’t crash so often, I’d give it around 3-4 stars. The UI is good and easy to use, but there’s some buggy behavior and general instability that leads to lots of crashing. ✓ Amazing Idea, but not as good executionThis is an amazing app I use almost every day and most of my trades come from here, but there are a few bugs and glitches. First of all, this one isn’t actually bad but it annoys me, when u get one message, the top right corner of the app in ur home screen says u have five, very annoying. Also, when someone sends u a message, most of the time the preview of it has a jumble of random stuff, but the messages showed wut they actually said, but sometimes with comments, it just showes up like that so u have to guess wut they said. Also, when ur scrolling thru trades, when u get to the end of the list u can hit next page, but it doesn’t rly work bc u hit next page and it brings u to the next page, but also refreshes all of the trades, so then most of the trades u have already seen pop up again. ✓ I know it's free but its getting annoying.It's a good free trade finder and most of community is good. But OMG the ads is getting annoying. The mobile app contains full screen unskippable ad with timer and every time you open the app they nag you about the 2.99 per month subscription. On the desktop website they added a subscription ballon that wiggles and follows you everywhere and an timed adblocker detector. Look I know server time costs money but rl garage is only what it is because of the users community. Not every trader can afford 2.99 nor does rl garage help most people make that much anyway. ✓ Needs a lot of workI’ve been using this app for a little while and it’s a good concept but man there’s a lot wrong with it. Bugs on top of bugs on top of crashes. The slowness of the app. Ads popping up when you are mid sentence and they make the app so slow that you have to force close it. I’m all for pushing ads and making money but when I’m mid sentence it’s really annoying. The amount of times this app crashes is actually absurd for me and it give no reason as to why it crashes. ✓ Very good, but...This app is great! I use it daily, and works well mostly. Every now and them there are bugs (which I’m sure the devs are working on). The thing that really bums me out is that this app just d e c i m a t e s my battery life. 50% of my battery is gone with about half an hour of use so I hope there’s a fix coming for that. ✓ Annoying FaultsOkay, so I’ve redownloaded this app after 7 months or so from being off of it. And it is so faulty when trying to search for items. Every single time I try to add something to the “Want” or “Have” section, my screen fades to a darker one and freezes. ✓ Great Concept, Awful ExectutionIt pains me to leave this review because in general I love the app. Getting to post and search for trades makes the market much easier to navigate than through the old discord server I was using. That being said, the app is ridiculously slow and buggy. Half the time I can’t even open messages other users send me without having to refresh and error prompt 3, 4, or 5 times. It’s very frustrating when you’re trying to close a deal that you can’t even write someone back. This doesn’t even cover the amount of downtime and server lag that I’ve been experiencing. I know it’s not my phone as I’m on a brand new 12, so I just don’t know what the issue is. Overall good concept and design choices, but awful user experience in terms of speed..Version: 1.9.9
✓ Its okay, but wouldn't recommend.This is a good idea. A hub where you can talk and trade for rocket league items, only the execution was bad. Don't get me wrong, It's a good app, but just enough tiny issues to where its extremely annoying to do anything. For instance, Logging into my account took sooooooo long to load. Sending messages just wont work either. I have waited for 15 minutes for this one message to actually send and it just will not. Also, community if pretty toxic. ✓ Complete garbage account link systemSo first of all, the app decides to randomly unlink my account, for which I don’t have access to the email account anymore so I had to make a new account. This is where all the problems begin. I make a new account, seems easy enough except apparently making an account does absolutely nothing for you, you have to link your platform account to this account to be able to send messages. My Xbox account is already registered to my previous account so I can’t use that one, so I have to go out of my way to make another Microsoft account. This isn’t good enough, I have to make an Xbox profile. This isn’t good enough, I have to play the free game to prove I own it (yeah that’s not ridiculous). THIS STILL ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH, I apparently have to win 15 games to attach my account?? Is this a joke?? Even if you find the item your looking for, it’s probably some idiot looking for a massive overpay. Adding on, the admins unfairly ban or suspend the app’s users. For example, I got banned from the app because I made a sarcastic joke about scammers. The kid took it seriously and reported me. Somehow the next day I come back and it shows I’m banned. Great! I complained to them that it was unfair but they completely ignored my arguments and told me that I’m permanently banned, deal with it. After this I just gave up on the app for the most part, until I had an epiphany. I realized that ridiculous lowballs can lead to suspension or ban. This ties into how I got banned, in the sense that I made that joke because the kid offered my 500 and an ncvr for my TW OCTANE!!! I immediately messaged the admins and guess what they responded...deal with it.
