✓ App Needs UpdatingBible studies are great but as a member of a group you cannot leave or join another group or create your own group. I know the developers are creating something which will solve this problem but this problem is yet to be fixed and is urgent..KwannyyyVersion: 1.2.4

✓ Give me notification opt out choice.The content is good but the app needs work. Really HATE that they force me to accept “reminders” at certain times and days to study. I don’t want to be reminded because my schedule changes. Give me a choice and let me opt in or opt out and decide what’s best for me. I can’t use any of the studies without setting up times/days for them to remind me. This is enough for me to not use this app. I’ve had problems with the app opening screen freezing and spinning and I have to kill the app to clear it. I also would prefer an iPad app but the developer told another reviewer “hope they find something else to study” if they want to use the iPad. So apparently they have no interest in making this for the iPad..Tech queen5Version: 1.7.0

✓ Technically lackingIt’s extremely frustrating that an app with so much to offer makes you log in repeatedly as if it’s your first time using it. It’s a little thing, minor even, but it’s frustrating because other apps that require a log in remember you on your own phone. This app doesn’t use the thumbprint (old phone) or Face ID to recognize you. Sometimes it won’t even keep you logged in if you come back to it later in the same day. It’s one thing if the app has to reopen, but no other app I have requires me to login my email and password just about every time I open it. Again, it’s extremely frustrating. The actual content in the app is worth it and it’s surprising and disappointing that the sign in isn’t setup/handled better..AngiephaVersion: 1.6.0

✓ It’s Pretty good, but a long way from completely User FriendlyThe information is good, but your app is not user friendly. I too have received the message that I could not use the email because it was being used- by me! My whole class had an issue getting access to the studies. We had to type out the questions for the class. Also, your lectures are not Deaf friendly. I used a second email as a teacher and still had issues closing out the class and beginning a new one. I think you should eliminate the need for a teacher to close out the class before we can start a new study. Also eliminate the limitations of one lesson per week. If I am studying on my own, I may finish in a week. Also it would be nice if i could have access to more than one study at at time if i choose like YOUVERSION and their Bible reading plans. Bless you all for making this available. I am trusting it will become more user friendly as the months go on. Also, I cannot use it in portrait view on my IPad. ✓ Doesn’t recognize my accountLoved the app until it locked me out and said it doesn’t recognize my credentials. It seems to have lost all my work in the study and wants me to create a new account. I had my password saved so I am confused about why it kicked me out. If they find my credentials and open up my account again I guess I will change my review but until then this is very frustrating!!! ✓ Let me print the lesson.I have done several study’s on app and think the content is great I love that. But give the option to print the questions I’ll still read the notes or make those printable too. And I would still listen to lecture but the idea of typing on my phone all the answers is obnoxious and many distractions come up and then I click away from the app. I get that if you do that it defeats the purpose of the app but I still think your target audience will use the app and the ones who don’t want to be glued to it will get to print it. ✓ Can’t log on or do anythingI tried setting up a group initially as I couldn’t remember if I had previously set up an account. When I tried, I was informed that my email is already was already registered. With this, I went and tried logging in, resetting the password before, and the load circle on the login button just spun and then stopped, not progressing. Reset my password again, deleted the account then re downloaded it, same thing. I would love to be able to get on and actually see the app, but for now this hasn’t been an enjoyable experience, and it seems like from other comments that I am not alone on this issue..MinggdthVersion: 1.2.0

✓ Really meaty, tiny inconveniences but WORTH ITHighly recommend the Ephesians study as your first one! I REALLLY appreciate this app, you get to choose your timing pace and dig deep into small section of scripture each day. It makes for such a sweet time with Jesus. The questions are SO simple, DEEP and practical. Quick to the heart and the insights are beyond my train of thought and make me excited to glean. It’s a bit difficult to explain the tiny inconveniences without a visual showing but for me it happens when I type in the box to answer the questions, the page will not move with my typing so I have to stop, scroll and then continue typing to read. It truly IS NOT that big of a deal at all, but I do think a developer could finagle a better way for the page to grow as we type. With this, when reviewing answers we have to scroll through the box as well, if the box would grow with the length we typed then when we are discussing it could be easier to see the entire answer in one views I hope this makes sense! 😆 Getting all our group on the same page on how to navigate discussion together isn’t the easiest but it has produced laughter! Overall 💯 recommending this app to everyone, once you select a study and do one day I think you’ll be won! P.S. ✓ SO FRUSTRATING!Using this app was SOOOO FRUSTRATING! For some unknown reason, it doesn’t show all the questions. As I was working through I noticed the questions were skipping numbers. It would jump two or three questions at a time. t did the same thing to my study partner but not every day. I updated it but that didn’t help. ✓ Incredible studiesThe Bible studies are wonderful. There are some great in-app features like the prompt to pray before each study’s and it adjusts the study to your needs. Although the information and study are exceptional the app itself can be confusing, hard to navigate and is lacking. Hopefully that will change with an update. The personal study format was better than the group. It seemed pretty straightforward after the confusing registration. The organization of the group study format could definitely use some improvement. Despite the minor frustrations of the app I will continue to use this study and would suggest anyone else to as well..901TorresVersion: 1.7.0

✓ Great Content - Clunky AppHaving been a member of a BSF class for 20 years I am so excited that the approach and great teaching is available to anyone who wants to study God’s word in a small group. If you are looking for great teaching, and questions that go beyond the surface of scripture passages look no further. However, the App is clunky (especially on iPad) it only works in portrait mode and there is no way to see the scripture passage and questions at the same time, I have to keep going back and forth, or grab my physical Bible. It also doesn’t have the ability to highlight the notes that come with the daily study, which makes it hard for me to refer back to them during our discussions. ✓ Customer service is horribleI couldn’t log due to invalid account even though I had just signed up... I tried all the tricks and FAQ tips... so I contacted customer service where they continued to respond to me with answers like ‘how can we help you?’ Even though I had put in the entire problem with screenshots in my initial email. Then they respond to your response again with.. ‘we will respond in 48 hours’ every time they ask you a simple question and they do not respond in 48 hours. This went on like this for 13 days and I just gave up. Good luck trying to accomplish anything through customer service is anything doesn’t work..Sillyrabbit123Version: 1.3.0

✓ Sorry to Report Big BugsSadly as we began our second study the app has taken a big dump. Can’t navigate the day, scriptures, questions anything. Be very very cautious in trying this app. Sorry BSF we really want to have a great experience but it ain’t happening. Now why do we have to email you when we have problems if our email address is associated with our comment / review so tightly that it brings up our previous review? There are massive issues here WordGo. Please provide support or reasons for the issues being catalogued. Sad that BSF is getting this reputation hit.
