✓ Amazing!I never ever write reviews but I had to for this game. I literally couldn’t stop playing it. The animation is breathtaking along with the music and just the overall vibe of the game. However it’s the story that made this game unforgettable (no pun intended). The story is what makes it breaks games for me and this game’s story hit the nail on the head. I also like the fact there are choices to be made and there’s pretty good character development especially with Anne. If you’re looking for a captivating game to play, this is definitely one of them!! Wish the App Store had more games like this.Version: 1.5.3
✓ Get this game!!I was skeptical of forgot Anne at first but once I downloaded the game I was hooked. The art and animation in this game are breathtaking and wonderful. The characters are creative and wonderfully developed, and I cannot stress how amazing the art is! I will say the controls are a bit confusing at first but it becomes easier as the game progresses and you get use to them. I loved the story and thought it was well done though I wished we had a little more of an ending than we were provided. I believe this game is wonderful and is an amazing game for anyone who appreciates good art, storytelling, puzzles. ✓ Absolutely beautiful gameThis game is absolutely beautiful! The art is stunning. It very much reminds me of an anime movie where you can affect the ending. It really is a choose your own adventure game. The game is very story based, so if this doesn’t appeal to you, it isn’t your thing, but if it does, it is so worth the money. It isn’t the most difficult game and there are probably 5-6 jumps that may be classified as “tricky” but not difficult, only a few are timing based. You can’t die or take damage, so if that concerns you, don’t be scared. This is a very enjoyable game, just relax and have fun. I took my time and made it through in a little under 11 hours, I didn’t rush it. I will probably play through a second time to see a different story and pick up more rewards, but don’t feel obligated..Version: 1.5.4
✓ Well made and highly enjoyableI’ve downloaded this game a while back, but didn’t get to trying it until a few days ago. I absolutely love story driven games, so this seemed right up my alley. And I was right. I enjoyed the free section so much that I purchased the full game without a second thought. It’s like an interactive movie. I really like the art style, it’s gorgeous, the voice acting, the story (though I’m still trying to understand the details), etc. It’s really well made. I’m not done with the game yet, but I’m definitely sticking with it. There are some issues I would love to point out, though...the game can be very glitchy sometimes. I loved every moment playing this incredible game, the story was incredible and heartbreaking, and the characters so well developed. ✓ Best game on iOS ever!Well I didn’t think I’d find a game to rival that of playdeads Inside but with Forgotton Anne I did just that and what a game/experience this was. I don’t know how to even begin to do it justice, the length of the game alone is formidable, as for the gameplay Wow just Wow. The best characters I have come across in any game with great dialogue, beautiful character design and actually caring what happens to them. Fig reminds me of V from the film V for Vendetta, Anne is perfect in her role and all the forgotlings are so endearing. The story pulls you in like a whirlpool in the middle of the ocean and you can’t wait to find out the next development. There is laughter, anger, suspense, joy and sadness. ✓ All running and jumpingWhen they say "light puzzle platform" in the description they are being misleading. This is not a puzzle game. It's an action game. Yes, it's a lovely game with superb artwork and a terrific idea. However, I am disappointed because moving the character around seems to be the main point of the game: it's 95% running and jumping. I don't consider figuring out where and how to leap a fun experience -- to me, it's an exercise in frustration. I know that this is totally entertaining for a lot of people; if you're one of them, this is a great game and will be an entertaining jaunt through a wonderfully imaginative world. I happily recommend it for that. If you prefer to be entertained by exploration, real puzzles or solving problems this game doesn't offer that -- even though the presentation implies that it does. It's such a creative idea, why not just say it's an action game? It's like opening a beautiful box of chocolates and finding cashmere socks inside -- great, but not what you expected. ✓ So different , so much like Ghibli moviesAfter playing the demo I fell in love with the game. Love the graphics, solid story line and the music behind it. Wish Anne would move more swiftly but it’s so realistic for her character to have human limitations. ✓ One bad ending to ruin it allFantastic artwork, engaging characters, simplistic but fun power system, and one emotionally charged story. Only to be ruined by the illusion of choice in the finale. Spoiler Alert: Activate a machine that can save yourself but destroy a world, or activate a machine that can kill yourself and restore a world. The obvious choice would’ve been doing neither, arrest the bad guy and let the world go on, because it wasn’t even a post-apocalyptic landscape, only ravaged by heavy industrial pollution caused by the bad guy. Like literally, world peace was one pair of handcuffs away, and yet the game gives us two very undesirable endings..Version: 1.5.4

✓ I ADORE this game🥰♥️Overall I absolutely loved Forgotton Anne. The graphics were beautiful, the voice acting was great and the story was super creative and kept me interested. I’ve read a few reviews that mentioned it being a bit predictable and I’ll admit (without spoilers) I felt early on I knew where it was headed, but I didn’t mind that. I thought the whole concept of the forgotton world and the forgotlings was really original and interesting. I really enjoyed closer to the end when it gives the descriptions for each forgotling as it sort of makes you appreciate “things” more in a way, and see them as more than just possessions. The game play itself felt a bit more action-like than adventure or puzzle as most of it consists of walking/running/jumping etc, which I normally don’t enjoy, but the storyline and characters kept me intrigued until the very end. I would have enjoyed a bit more of Anne’s “normal” life just to see more of what she was used to and how her and Master Bonku or her and the forgotlings interacted with her being the enforcer. Nonetheless it was such an immersive, beautiful experience and I hope to find more similar games. ♥️🥰.Version: 1.5.3

Everything exceeded my expectations too well!! I also want to point out how well the trial portion was. It told enough about the game and its mechanics. It’s very slow to respond to your fingers/to move in general and in places it is excruciatingly difficult to perform the simplest navigation actions, like jumping onto platforms, switching from left to right, or turning on controls (this is especially frustrating since some challenges require fast, timed, and strategic sequences of actions). It’s a shame, because everything else about the game is fantastic, but the terrible mechanics make it infuriating to play. The art is beautiful and so well done, it feels like I’m playing a movie. I can already tell the story will be great because it’s already engaging, and it runs so well. I really look forward to playing more and I hope it has a lot of gameplay. I also have to comment how happy I am that this is a paid game. As a girl (not that it matters) who’s never ever been able to play games that need too much multitasking I’ve been looking for ages for a game I can actually play that also offers a story line and I can’t believe I finally found it. I’m so in love. I found it by chance cos I typed in ‘Studio Ghibli’ cos I’ve been binging the movies and wondered if they had a game, and I stumbled upon this. I bought the full version easily after the first level and played it with it two days (I didn’t move from my screen but you can make it last) I wish there were more like this honestly I do. ✓ Will There Be A Second Part-?I Honestly Love The Game, Yes, It’s An Action AND Puzzle Game, You Have To Figure Out WHERE To Go, So I Figure That Out As A Nice , Lovely Puzzle , I Love Fig, Bulb, And Especially Anne And Jinx, They Were Lovely Characters, Jinx Even Made A Very Nice Statement On Titles And I Think That Is A Lovely Lesson On Life, And How Your Actions Will Take You, Overall I Love The Game And I Think The Purchase Was Worth It. ✓ Loved itEven tho it took me 10 hours to finish it I enjoyed every aspect of it. I usually don’t like games with so much story telling but this one I loved because the story line was so interesting and it wasn’t only listening but you could also make a choice which was awesome. I loved how creative the developers must be I love the anime style and the music was lovely 😊 the game play was fun, sometime I had trouble with the controls but it was no big deal. Its one of does game you wish you could transported into that world. I also like that it’s not violent some distilling here and there but that almost it. It was worth every penny. ✓ Beautiful.Okay first impression: super intrigued, the cut scenes and, not sure what word to use but the animation(?) is seriously beautiful. i was a bit bummed by how short the free trial was, but it was appropriate, not a super big bummer like “ooh find out what’s next of this cliffhanger for $4.99!!” it was just not knowing what to expect and being curious was all, nothing super dramatic, to me at least. the game is entertaining and it’s not a super easy game, i think anyone could play it but there are definitely some parts that took me awhile to get through. Overall, guys, it’s really worth it. If you don’t usually buy games, ask your parents to get this one for you, or save up money to buy it for yourself, i mean whatever the case is, it is worth it. i’ve played through till the end and i want to play it again because as you go through there seem to be a lot of different outcomes of whatever, so it’s not necessarily a one time play. this is a really long review but i really appreciate this game and i think anyone who is genuinely curious and wanting this game should get it, it’s worth it..Version: 1.5.3
