✓ Save is goneI got quite far in the game on the first night and enjoyed it, and when I accessed it again I could initially open it and "Continue". ✓ Forgotten AnneForgotten Anne is an absolutely stunning the game! The visuals are perfect and the storyline makes sense! The characters have loveable personalities and gives the player an option to make choices. The only problem is.. it gives players the option to make choices.. This game is fantastic and leaves you with wonder and curiously entertaining, but the issue here is that the endings are very.. bland. All of your choices do not matter, you will be forced to achieve only two endings and no ‘true’ ending. Though the game stresses how choices matter, it has come to conclude that it really doesn’t. This game disappointed me with such bland endings, it wasn’t quite heartfelt at all, although I would play this again without a doubt due to how beautifully orchestrated its’ visuals and storylines are. Though, if you’re gonna make an ending... make a good one please..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Clunky and AbruptThe story was an interesting spin on how the human race don’t recycle enough, it think that was the main plot line here. There was no silver lining or proper conclusion. Anne and her master being the only “forgotten” humans in existence isn’t very believable. The memory being thing... unbelievable. The story and progression was very linear. Be nice or be horrible and have the extent of your meanness thrown at you at some point in the game. Go to the next progress point to continue. I assumed I had reached the much needed shift in the storyline, the main event that triggers was actually the ending. What I really hated was the movement. It was clunky at best but on the iPad it was simply infuriating, especially when you had to act quickly and change mode. What I liked was the look of the game and the voices. Very nice. Shame the rest was very underwhelming..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Annoyed 😒I played the free part off the game and didn't realise that I would have to pay 6.99 for the full game. I thought this game was going to be a fun FREE game however I was annoyed that the free part was very short and didn't give much info on the rest of the game. ✓ Long and DullThis game is pretty, but that is about it. The novelty of the story wears off too quickly and is replaced by endless running and jumping. There are very few unique puzzles - once you’ve figured out the trick for about 5 different puzzles, then those same puzzles just keep popping up over and over again. Your character literally goes nowhere - starting at one place, then traveling to the end of the game world, only to have to turn around and go all the way back to the beginning again to finish the game. And then the finale fails to deliver. A total letdown - even if you care about the main characters by the end, which I didn’t, neither final choice yields a satisfying ending. Don’t waste your time..Version: 1.5
✓ This game broke my heart 😡😭😭When I saw this game on the AppStore for the first time I new intently that I had to get it. I had to get rid of a lot of games to get it but I new it would all be worth it in the end. And when it was done loading I pressed the screen and I was so exited and when it Finally done loading it said... THIS GAME IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS DEVICE. I was shocked. It BROKE MY HEART. So I deleted it and got it again same answer. And then I decided to go to the AppStore and looked at it and it said it didn’t work with Apple iPods and not just that there are many devices that do not work with the game. Only a few worked with it and I asked my self why would the game developers restrict such a beautiful game to only a handful of people. And I bet I am not just the only one who has the problem. What to the game developers expect me to get a whole new device just to get this game?! I think no one should get this game until the game developers at least let iPads get the game. ✓ Interesting game but super buggyThis game is interesting and kinda fun, but it’s often overshadowed by all the bugs. the controls are a bit sticky and hard to use. often if I step away from the game, my progress isn’t saved and I have to do sections all over again (especially annoying when you can’t skip through the conversations), and sometimes sections disappear from the diary. also one time the game crashed and would not correct no matter how many times I quit the app and reopened, so I had to uninstall and reinstall. I’ve barely gotten past the crane and already had all these issues. Way too many problems for the price imo..Version: 1.5.4

✓ RubbishThis game is awful; played the preamble and was bored and disinterested with the game. Then had a message wanting £6.99; they would have to pay me £6.99 to take this game further. Reminds me of the crap games that abounded in the 1980’s. UPDATE. Thank you for your response to my review. I do understand how the principle of purchasing does work; I have bought several after playing the initial portion & then opting ‘to buy’ or ‘not to buy’. I do like this principle unlike some ‘In App’ purchases where you can pay up to £100. I also don’t like the new Arcade games that Apple have introduced because many of them are too childish. The games that I do like & have fully completed are Syberia, Secret Files,Agatha Christie-ABC Murders, The House of Da Vinci, Bully, Eisenhorn,Jade Empire,The Talos Principle,Machinarium,KOTOR, Calvin Noir & Oceanhorn. All great games. The reason that I tried Forgotten Anne was because of the excellent reviews it received but unfortunately I have not changed my opinion on this & am still baffled as to why it’s received such good reviews. ✓ Great game, but.....I love this game. Literally, it’s amazing. The animation is great, the storyline is great, I had a great time playing it! The only problem I had was in the watchtower I couldn’t figure out how to get up the stairs to retrieve the wings, but aside from that, it was awesome! Then I got past Wade (The British shoe kicking at the pipes). I talked to him, then went on my way, just to find out that it was all the gameplay I got. Like, really? You get to do 2 things, and then you get hit with a full game purchase. It’s $10! You might just as well make us pay for the game. All we got to do for free was get out of the Tower, and help Tiphany out. Seriously? It’s practically just a demo, not even part of the game. This game has some serious issues, don’t get it. You’ll only play just to get to really liking it, just to find out you have to pay $10 just to play more. Unless you feel like spending $10 on a game, just being able to PLAY it, stop, band go get some help..Version: 1.2
✓ Hate the controls.I really like this game but the controls drive me absolutely crazy. Why not make it a point and click. I’m stuck on the train switches because if you don’t do the controls absolutely perfectly you can’t do it, there’s difficult and there’s frustrating, so this took the fun out of it for me and I’m uninstalling. ✓ AlrightIdk if it’s set up for a different platform, but on IOS this game lags too much for there to be timed puzzles. Two days I tried on the train puzzle, and it literally would not move Anne until it had been too long and the brakes needed to be redone before I could do them all. She wouldn’t let go of the handle, or the action was too long idk but 6.99 for a game I can’t play? Not for me. The graphics are wonderful and the story seemed incredibly interesting but the lag of the action made it near impossible to complete a timed puzzle. I don’t think I should have to have another person try it (and also fail) to see if it was just me (it seems not he had the issue too). I paid, I thought I was gonna get the full experience.
