✓ GoodIt’s a great game, but the reason why I gave 3 stars because how many cutscenes this game has and the pop-ups this game has. Like, I think a lot of people already know water grows plants. And also sometimes when I proceed to attack a enemy it’s completely unresponsive and my character just walks up to it and does nothing, and also my character slides around making it difficult to progress. ✓ Not the best of the stickman games...I am a big fan of the stickman games, and I’ve loved them. The first one was amazing, and the second one was the best I’ve ever seen. It had an amazing storyline, even in the demo, which really wanted to make me buy the full game, which I did, including the DLC. However, when I saw DAS 3, I was excited! I couldn’t wait to play it. However, when I downloaded it, I was disappointed. The start of the game was a little interesting, however, I had a lot of questions about the quake. What caused it?? Was it an accident, like the purple ink from DAS 2, or not? I was very confused. And the gameplay wasn’t all that good either. And only 2 levels with a confused plot? At least DAS 2 gave me some answers and a reason to want to buy the full game, but not so much with DAS 3! So yes, DAS 3 Is not that good of a game, and I don’t recommend you get the full game. However, I don’t mean to hate on the DAS developers. I love the games, but this game isn't the best..Version: 1.2.17408

But, after I saw that the next levels had to be paid for, was severely disappointed. At least put “Demo” or “ Free” in the title to warn others instead of disappointing them. The mechanics are the same as always, plus more so that’s good. The story seems good, so far(I still need to buy the expansion). ✓ I love/hate thisThis game is epic 3 and I have been wanting this game for a long time, I stayed up late to play it and strangely it appeared on my iPad, sorta creepy like a ghost that had MONEY was helping me. So I didn’t play it the first night cuz I was WAY too freaked out so I played it the second night and I loved it the first three days, but on the fourth night it was a HUGE disappointment. I got pretty far in the game and I couldn’t get past that point, it was hard, stressful, and worst of all: IMPOSSIBLE. ✓ Not like the othersI have personally been a big fan of this series so far. So as soon as this popped up in my recommended I downloaded it. But this game is not like the others, what I mean is that in Draw Your Stick Man 1 and 2 there was original puzzles each hand crafted. It felt that every other puzzle was a new concept and adventure you could discover. But in this game it feels like they just made a few puzzles, then copy and pasted. There aren’t that many original puzzles to find, just the same thing, over and over again. But please don’t get me wrong, the game is great and I bet you guys put lots of work into it, it just doesn’t have the classic feel. Also as a side note, I love when it feels like the figures are people traversing a notebook or doodling paper, but the 3D aspect completely makes it feel like one of those free games with 5 minutes of effort put into it, and I would hate for that to happen. And yes, I know 3D is the future and new technology etc. but personally 2D fits the game much better. In all, fantastic game, just has the wrong feel / vibe.Version: 1.2.17408

✓ I Really Wish This Was Like The Others...I’m A Gigantic Fan Of The “Draw A Stickman Epic Series” I beat the Second Game And Finished The First and when I found out about this one I was extremely excited, so I downloaded it read that it had a in app purchase for some of the stuff and thought, “oh okay I might get that” so I closed the pop up and started playing the game I find the characters voices hilarious, but I was a little disappointed that the community export stickman feature was gone, (The thing that let you take say a really nicely drawn stickman and use THAT stickman during your play through of the game) but I thought eh that’s ok, so I finish level 2 and go to play level 3 when it says “Hey you gotta pay to play the full game” and I was pretty sad to tell you the truth, because you guys could’ve just made a separate app that was free and only had two levels and then make the full game cost money, (but who am I to speak, that might of took longer to release the game and I can tell you guys have worked REALLY hard on this game).Version: 1.2.17408

✓ GlitchesFrom what I have read online, it is a well known problem that some of the quests can’t be finished, meaning that you can’t finish the game. I have found 3 I can’t finish - kill 20 bone slime (been stuck on 14 for weeks), grow 3 trees and grow 4 patches of grass. Fix it up and I’ll amend to 5 stars. ✓ IMHO: Charm of Epic 2 is all gone :-(I REALLY enjoyed the graphic style, animations and even the physics/movement in Epic 2. In Epic 3 that appears to be all gone. Right from the beginning the graphic design seems like an awkward attempt to modernize the UI and the scenes…but that’s just it…it feels awkwardly wrong. To me, the whole point and attraction of the game was everything being hand drawn, and crude, but yet simple and intuitive. Complete miss. In Epic 3 I felt like I was being treated like a child as I started to play the game. The constant, overbearing, nagging, in the beginning of the game when trying to force feed you how to play was quite aggravating. It felt like I couldn’t take two steps without having to click through instructions seemingly telling me how to do every single little thing. I MUCH prefer, and still enjoy going back and playing multiple times, the more passive approach to story telling, dialogue, graphics…and pretty much everything that I was charmed by in Epic 2. I really hope the developer considers revisiting the roots of the game, embracing drawing with a pencil again and let exploration and following the story line happen in a much gentler, less intrusive way. Disclaimer, this is PURELY MY OWN OPINION. I could be an un stable Luddite who has nightmares at the thought of modern graphics and is taking it out on the developers for no rational reason. … well … hmm … I hope and really would like to believe I’m not that person, but the point is, FORM YOUR OWN OPINION by trying the game. You may love this approach. This review reflects my transition from Epic 2 to Epic 3 and how I personally perceived it. ✓ Gets glitchyI was loving this game until I got to level 2-3. Then the glitches started showing up. My stickman keeps walking, even when I don’t tap. (Fatal glitch) Or after I use one of the special pencils, the menus don’t ever go away. (Can work around this one, but it isn’t easy). Or I tap a pencil, and it comes up, but ALL the menus disappear, so I can’t complete the action and I just get streaks of color across the scene. (Fatal error) Shutting the app and restarting my iPad usually clears it (but what a pain). Even then, if I try to go straight to level 2-3, the error will crop up again. If I start from a different level, I have fewer issues, but how many times do I REALLY want to play those levels, just to avoid glitches?
