✓ Problems with the eventsThe game itself is awesome but I’m not sure their events are worth it since they are short. 1. Event currency is quite limited and earning them requires you to fill in so many spaces. So far I’ve only gotten one per each time I’ve got the event currency. 2. The multiplier is limited for it too for some reason you can only watch an ad once to multiply the event currency then you have to wait until the timer runs out (it’s like 4 hours long). Only the event stuff does ads like this usually you can multiply any time it comes up and there’s ads available. 3. The event images only give coins which while helpful to get the images that aren’t event images it’s quite unhelpful for actually being the currency since you only get 1 most of the time if you can’t get 2 with an ad. And you have to use your event currency to even start the event. In my opinion if you actually want to finish the events you’d need to both wait since the prizes for coloring 2000 squares refreshes every like hour to get one back and 4 hours to regain all 4 and possibly even spend money since the ad things 4 hours so you can only get 2 every time you finish up to all 4 and all 4 refreshes. You’d also probably need to lack sleep in order to get enough to try and finish the event. Otherwise if you only do event stuff because you end up getting the currency and don’t care about completing it then it’s fun..Version: 1.17.0
✓ WAY too many adsDont get me wrong, this is a super fun game. I’m determined to finish it in its entirety (including all of the challenge modes). However, this game has one fatal flaw; literally a ton of ads. Theres one when you start a coloring, one when you finish, one when you switch islands, and one if you leave the app for more than 5 seconds. I mean I get it, gotta make your money somehow, but the fact that in order to get rid of the ads you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION FEE FOR EITHER A MONTH OR A WEEK is ridiculous. I’d 100% pay a one time fee of like 5-7 dollars to get rid of ads, but I am not going to pay a subscription for a game I may or may not be playing in a few weeks, especially when theyre charging $3 for a week. Like I said, fun game, but these ads are going to be the death of me.Version: 1.15.0

✓ Enjoy but issuesWhile I enjoy this game a lot every time I play it my phone overheats to the point where I have to force close the app and not continue playing for 30 minutes or so for my phone to cool down and actually take input again. That I had grown to deal with but with this newest update the game hard locked refusing to open when I launched the app. If the developers could add back-up options in the game that would be great. I do love the game but having to replay two 3 stars wolds and I was working on 3 others makes restarting EXTREMELY saddening and frustrating. EDIT; It happened again. ✓ So sadI absolutely love this app and would have given it 10 stars, until the last update. I spent many, many hours coloring the first beautiful lush green land and eagerly moved on to the desert land. I was coloring right along and then the update happened. I have colored the same cactus 6 times now but it freezes every time I get it almost done. Then it looks like I haven’t even started it. There have been several time that the app just freezes and I lose 3/4 of my coloring progress. It almost seems like the freezing is getting worse. ✓ Something has changed…This game used to be so good and so relaxing, but something has changed. I don’t know if it’s just mine but it’s been frozen for a couple days. It was right after the Christmas event had ended and I open the app, and right away it was being weird. It didn’t load correctly, and it wouldn’t let me collect my daily bonus. It just froze. So i kept opening the app throughout the day, but the same thing happened. I thought that if I just waited while the app was open, it would unfreeze, but it didn’t. I was thinking that I might have to delete the game and re-download it, but I don’t want to lose all of my progress because I was as really far. Anyway, I rate this game a 3.5.Version: 1.12.2

✓ Great game Infuriating bugsThis game is really good and is what it says it is. The issue is you can’t always play the game without experiencing some issues. They can be as simple as small lag spikes to something as big as wiping your save data and sending you right back to the start (this has happened twice). There a three big issues with the game. Firstly, the bug that erases your progress. Then there’s the constant lag spikes that may make you wait for a few seconds, wait for 30 seconds, crash the game and force a reload (which has the chance to make you lose some progress on your current drawing or cause the bug or whatever it is that erases your save). I think these lag spikes may occur when a new banner ad loads at the bottom of the screen. Lastly, the game will drain your battery quickly (I’d recommend adding a battery saver feature of some sort if possible). I would like to Finnish this off by saying that my phone is not very old and has had no trouble loading/processing everything I’ve thrown at it before. I’ve also seen other people complaining about these issues in reviews, so I know it’s not just me. I really do hope this game gets fixed because it is a good game..Version: 1.4.1

✓ Having some logging problemsI love this game. The pixel art is cute, and I appreciate using my pen to draw on my iPad instead of rubbing my finger over the screen. However, I’m finding some issues with the game freezing up and then shutting down on me. I’ve lost some progress with the pixel art I was filling in. I have to back out of the object I fill in just so it can make a “save” for my progress. Otherwise, after a minute, the game freezes and kicks me out, forcing all the progress I made to be lost. It’s kind of disappointing. It worked fine for the first 5 art I filled in. Usually happens because I hold down to continuously fill in the page. Why have that as an option if it’s just going to cause problems? Still, I love the “world building” aspect of the colored-in objects..Version: 1.4.3

✓ Two Main IssuesThe latest update states Challenge Mode can be reset. I’ve updated the app and completed the Challenge Mode on one of my islands but can’t figure out for the life of me hire to reset. You would think there would be an icon labeled “Reset”, but no! Second issue is this Christmas Event. Much too demanding of time and resources considering, as others have said, many of us play other apps that have some kind of holiday event. 2000 pixels to color for 1 ornament!!! Plus you need to wait 4 hours for a new set of boxes, or use coins orc watch an ad to skip the wait. C’mon developers. This is a MAJOR FAIL. ✓ Game won’t open upThe game is incredible and the only complaints i have is that its no longer launching on my phone, I’ve had the game for a few months and after the last update the app is no longer launching. It shows the loading bar and stops after two bars are left, afterwards it shows a blue screen, no buttons or island map, just a blue screen. I’m not sure if the app is glitched or if it’s a malfunction due to the last update, but it would be appreciated if you could fix it. ✓ Very unhappy terrible tech supportI loved this game very much. The hours I spent coloring the pixels reminded me very much of old school digital art. The problem I have and the reason that I gave a 1 star is that I was constantly having technical difficulties with the game and I could never reach support. No one ever answered the in game support chat and the only other way through Facebook. Well, I am one of those people that doesn’t have Facebook nor do I plan on getting it, especially to get technical support for a phone game. This led me to sadly delete the game since I ran into a game breaking bug in which the game would not let me move on to the next area to color because the game claimed that I had not completed the parameters needed to unlock it even though I had. I have also had numerous other bugs involving an object not being considered colored by the game even though it was. Unfortunately, since the game doesn’t save your account when I reinstalled the game again I had lost all of my progress and would have had to start coloring everything from the beginning. This has made me sad since I put a lot of time into coloring and I enjoyed the game. In all if I could give this game a negative star review I would for the technical support. ✓ Major glitchesI’ve had this problem twice now. I’ve tried reaching out to the app developers and I’ve received no response. The game will just stop loading. ✓ Fun but...I found this game recently on an ad that popped up and it looked fun! I played it and it’s one of my favorite pixel painting games. There’s plenty of lands to fill and I hope to see more coming soon! However, I really need for the developers to fix the game freezing incessantly. ✓ Great but…I loved this app, it was so fun and satisfying. But after the first island, you basically have to watch an ad after every single picture to earn double coins to pay for all the other pictures. Not a big deal, if I wasn’t then forced to watch another ad right after that. And sometimes I’m forced to watch a third ad before my next picture. Three ads between pictures is a little ridiculous and by that point, I had lost interest. You can choose to pay out the 10 dollars a month for ad free, but I’m going to guess that you’d still have to watch an ad for double coins, and I’m just not into having yet another subscription service. ✓ FIX THE CRASHINGGreat game with a great concept, the art is gorgeous and unique, and I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact it crashes literally every two seconds. Better watch those ads, because the 'regular' currency is given out at a snail's pace. And then you get ANOTHER ad once you actually finish something. Each one of these ads last more than a minute, which adds up VERY quickly. To add insult to injury, this game has the GALL to offer an ad-free experience... for TEN DOLLARS A MONTH. This is a five-dollar game at the most, and that would be just to buy it outright! I'd even be willing to pay that five dollars up front, I actually enjoy the gameplay, but the sheer greed on display is disgusting enough to warrant an uninstall. ✓ Glitched... 😢This is a great game! Absolutely addicted! But ever since the last update, the game glitched. All the screens are mixed together. Like, the days remaining for the daily pictures can be seen at the top, the bombs and paint buckets for use while colouring a picture can be seen in the bottom right, the daily challenges icon is still in the bottom right, the challenge mode button is also seen across the top, and the “Next Island” button can also be seen across the bottom. I can click the daily challenges button and then click off it to fix the glitch, but I am unable to click on a picture to colour it. No matter how many times I kill the app or no matter how long I wait for it to fix itself, I keep logging back into the game to see the same screen. (This is where I really wish I could add pictures..) Is this happening for anyone else or is it just me...? And how do I fix this? ✓ Really annoyingI honestly don't mind ads on most games, and having ads after you color every picture isn't too bad since it takes time to color it all. I don't know if this is just a bug on my end or intentional, but having an ad EVERY TIME I open the app is extremely annoying! Even if I just go to check a text message and come back to the game after a few seconds, it gives me an ad! I'm not able to pay 10 a month because I'm really tight with money, and if this is intentional, it's a really cheap and scummy way to get money out of people. Those coins are hard earned through watching a lot of ads to unlock pictures. It’s not right for us to pay double and start over because of game crashes. ✓ Much enjoy, need more... (note: review temporarily changed until issues get fixed)(Until this game gets a data-sync option or something similar, my review will not go back to its original score. Athena has already accidentally erased my progress twice, and I don’t really see a point in continuing until this gets fixed.) The controls are spot on for a paint-by-numbers title, and I just love how all the drawings come together at the end to complete the island. I do have a couple of criticisms, though; maybe add a button to toggle between Move and Fast-paint, as well as some way to de-color any squares that were accidentally painted the wrong color. Even though they’re easily fixed, they tend to blend in with an already-filled background (especially if it’s dark.) What kinds of islands will we see from you in the future? More earth-like (Chinese, Pyramids, Tropical, Outback, Casino, Amusement Park, Stone Age, Europe) or more fantastical (Atlantis, Halloween, Greek Myth, Storybook, Food, Music, Dragons, Nonsense, Magic)?.Version: 1.4.3

Warning to any other developer that wants to give me a notice without even any kind of greeting when I initially open your app, you will also be deleted immediately.
