MindPal - Brain Training Games for Positive User Reviews

The free version is really great in itselfHi, I love that the games are all divided into different categories so you can see where your brain’s strengths and challenges are. Unless you specifically opt in to watching an ad, they are all max 5 seconds long, so totally bearable. The games themselves are good, and challenging even for those already with a high IQ - nothing will feel easy once you get going properly. I’m very happy with this app - a good blend of free and paid options incorporating some challenging but fun puzzles, without being too irritating with the ads 👍.Version: 4.7

Good varietyI like the variety of games offered each day..Version: 5.4

Great but I just don’t like premiumsIt’s so great and I’m like def seeing improvements w my memory and retention and yadda yadda, it’s just slightly annoying that there’s a premium option, but honestly I don’t think premium would make a difference, it’s still good as.Version: 4.5

Really enjoying itAds are the only downfall. Other than that enjoying it!.Version: 4.5

A really good app but could have at least one more level freeI downloaded this app the other week and so far I have found it really good. I don’t know if it’s just placebo but I feel like my concentration has actually got better using it. The games are fun quick and easy to do so it is a good thing to do when you have the time whether that be five mins on the train, waiting for coffee etc. My only problem as said about it though is that I feel that it can go abit quick sometimes due to me having the free version and I’d prefer if you could have atleast one more level to complete for free or access by simply watching a video..Version: 2.8

Challenging games but funGreat game, well designed and plays well except it’s far to expensive for the pro version (to unlock all the games) oh well I guess I’ll have to put up with all the ads.Version: 3.0

Love it, Love it, Love itGreat quick game with lots of variety to sharpen the mind. There is a Pro version and the price is pretty high but I play the free games and find it is enough. I get some extra games by sharing on my socials, or providing a review. I’ve recommended it to friends and many of them are now playing it too..Version: 3.5

Great!Really helps to get to sleep or have a moment to take time out. Challenging and distracting. I like to play more games after the daily challenge. Well designed and planned out keeping the mind strong and ticking over without being educational or boring like some things. Only one bug in the year that I’ve had it where a square got stuck but I’m more likely to blame my mobile for that because it sticks all the time. Highly recommend this free game. No annoying adverts..Version: 3.9

I’m hookedI thoroughly enjoy this app. I find all the games challenging and the fact that they get more difficult the further you progress keeps you on your toes. My maths skills definitely need improvement (my weakest subject) and this is just the ticket to get my old grey cells working. I don’t have the premium app but I am seriously considering it as I think if you see how others are fairing it gives one an incentive and could also bring out a competitive streak..Version: 4.2

So far so good!Been recovering from a concussion and it was suggested to me by my doctor that I use an app like this to help with my memory and focus issues. So far so good I think. It’s only been a week but it’s been especially helpful with the language and verbal skills. Simple day to day tasks like writing emails felt like a chore, but I do feel like my sentences and word choices are coming together better. I really like the structure of the app and the metrics that it provides. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I feel like it’s too soon to give it 5. I’m looking forward to writing another review in a month so after I’ve had more time to track my progress. For now, overall, this is an app I’ll definitely recommend to friends and family..Version: 3.1

OK but…Very close to an existing brain trainer game, in fact many of the games are the same. Irritating that two of the games are locked and you have to earn the opening of one of them - then you share on FB and its doesn't unlock. Without the wider range I expect to delete this game before too long as I’m not paying the price requested and its offer is very limited. Constant adverts after each game are irritating - especially the one regularly telling me my iPhone memory was full and to download a ‘cleaner’ - despite me playing these on a brand new large memory iPad!.Version: 3.9

Amazing gamesI have had such amazing fun playing this new game I downloaded called MindPal. MindPal is a game to test your knowledge in many subjects such as maths, English and reading. MindPal also has many fun games to do like spelling bee, wordless and sudoko blocks. I really recommend that you download MindPal and experience the joy, fun and excitement of playing MindPal..Version: 4.5

Overpriced but coolThe games are a good mix of types and definitely get more challenging. Enjoying it but the price puts me off buying the pro version - seems REALLY expensive compared to others.Version: 4.0

Daily mustA wonderful little app that gets your brain working again. I love the variety of puzzles, word and maths teasers. I look forward to my daily session. It’s fun, takes up very little time, it has a great visual quality and I like the way it presents your scores. So easy to see your improvements..Version: 3.1

Believe it or not but I have OCD, ADHD and anxiety! This is a good appThis app helps me get through tough ADHD attacks and slows my brain down! If you are thinking about getting this DO! Also just letting you know there is a VIP pass that lets you access every game BUT you can access like more than half of them without the VIP as well! So…well done to whoever made this app you are amazing ❤️🥰 Think of MindPal as a brain gym in your pocket. MindPal provides you with a personal daily program that adjusts over time to maximize results. Enjoy a variety of games that challenge critical cognitive skills such as memory, attention, language, math, and more. The difficulty of the games adapts to your level, to ensure you are constantly challenged. Track your performance as you play, and get in-depth insights about your brain..Version: 4.9

✨amazing!✨It’s absolutely amazing and even though there’s a pro version and u can’t do much with the fee version, they give you chances and opportunities like if u want to play one of the frames in the workout that are locked but you only have the free version, thy still give u this thing and u can share it on fb or messages or twits or write a review and that’s what i’m doing right now but it’s rly good TRUST ME. I have a lot of these types of games because of my anxiety and this is the best and most generous so far! Sure the pro version cost a lot of money and it’s pretty useless but they give u an offer for everything! So good, i recommend and the game is free anyways.Version: 2.8

Fun GameGreat to give your brain a workout every morning!.Version: 5.3

Sometimes not clearOverall I enjoy using this app. I’m 81. I’ve tried other games and left them because each activity was timed too quickly and they made me feel stupid. This app is timed in some activities as well, but it’s more a matter of learning to concentrate better rather than trying to find a concise word or phrase in a very short time that I may know given a few more seconds. I didn’t give a 5 because some of the instructions are not clear and it takes me several times through the activity before I realize I’m not doing it correctly. I’ve only been doing this app for a short while. I’ll have to see if it helps me over time to concentrate better and exercise my mind..Version: 2.5

Fantastic AppThis is a great way to exercise your brain in many different ways and through many unique games my only complaint is the price of premium is too much and why do we always have to subscribe to play premium versions. What happened to jus purchasing a game and being done same as going to a store except I do you pay 100 bucks for a game at Walmart… Anyway I will continue the free version unless they drop the price.Version: 5.3

Intellectually Challenging- the best thing a brain-training app can beI love this app and it’s variety of games, they are so imaginative and pleasing to play. The games, when practiced, really can improve the skills that they are aimed to boost. As well as this, there are many features that are rather convenient in this app- one being the performance chart that shows how adept you are at a certain skill. Another great thing is the daily offer for you to unlock a feature in the pro category, such as sharing the app or so; despite the fact that this may just be a clever marketing strategy, it just shows the ingenuity of the creators..Version: 3.0

BEST GAME EVER!!MindPal is the best game ever I will admit it costs a lot of money for the premium version but even without paying anything you can still play some of the amazing games. The games test your brain in different areas and you can choose what you would like to improve on. There is also a daily workout where the game selects five game that you play and you can get a streak for how many days in a row you have completed the workout. MindPal is AMAZING and a must-have app..Version: 3.9

Awesome, Unique Educational App!This has super great games to teach your mind new skills. I am not very great in the flexibility area, but I have already developed it very high. I learn at least two new words every time I do a language game. Though you don't have access to all games in the free version, I like it like that. It helps me stay focused and work on improving the specific skill in the game. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over the age of about twenty instead I would recommend the other learning app, elevate. Fantastic for kids and teens. I haven't seen many other educational apps like this, it makes me want to learn! Thanks to the makers!.Version: 2.8

Memory improvementI have to say this game is really helping me I’ve had the game for maybe 2 weeks and although I haven’t played it every day like I should to get the best results I still know that I’m getting better at remembering things I’m 22 years old and have had memory issues for years and this game after only two weeks has helped me remember things like one of the things it says is a description of the game before u play and it says temporary memory placement in ur brain I guess something like that and I already noticed that I’m remembering stuff that I would normally forget I’m convinced this game is legit.Version: 2.4

FunFun and engaging and a nice way to pass time.Version: 5.2

Great fun but the scoring is inconsistentIf you want a cerebral workout then this app is for you. If you also want to see your score improving in different categories then prepare for a lot of frustration. I’ve been playing this app for months and the my personal performance scores can vary wildly and inconsistently day to day. It seems to randomly deduct points for no reason or give you huge increases when it appears you haven’t earned them. I had reached Expert in Speed, only to one day find I had list half of my progress. Other than that minor grumble, it’s great fun..Version: 3.5

PriceyThe games in the free version are fun and challenging and I’m sure all the other games that are locked are just as fun, being able to see your progress makes you want to do better each time you play and being able to see how you compare to your fellow players is a fun feature or I believe that it would be. I would have given it all 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cost. I live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford the full paid version and even if I could afford it I believe it is still a little pricey for the blue collar folks like myself and with all the unemployment today people are having a hard time just keeping the lights on and food on the tables.g ? So other than the price to unlock the full version I believe that this app will be in the top of it’s category for a long time to come..Version: 2.4

Great Game - would definitely recommend!Overall, great (brain) game! The activities are really fun and engaging, and it even shows your scores for various subjects. You can pick what areas you want to improve in, so you can really focus on different areas. In the new version, it shows your status and scores over all games! The levels adjust to your scores and skill level. There are also very few to no adds, which makes the experience even more enjoyable! The results are truly amazing! Definitely 5 star rating, and I would recommend this to anyone..Version: 2.4

Too many long adsLove the game. Just deleted. More and more long ads.Version: 5.2

MindPalI think this is an excellent game, great how it challenges all different aspects of your brain. One this that I find frustrating though is that you can only do the challenges/games done that day. Over all a 4/5.Version: 2.2

A great game for the mindI have enjoyed playing this game for 105 days straight now! It’s a really good brain training exercise. I took advantage of a 50% discount offer and bought the lifetime version. I am getting a little tired of doing the same games, so I hope that some new challenges are introduced over time..Version: 3.1

Amazing appI got this app to improve my skills in focus, attention, and language. When I first started this game, I was skeptical about if it would work. I started on an intermediate level, and now I’m advanced after 2 weeks. And it helps in a fun manner! I’m already addicted. Would definitely recommend this! And if you are wondering why you’re getting the same score, yet you’re improving, it’s because it increases its level of difficulty every time. You would know how much if you paid attention. Also, it doesn’t lock you into a one day free trial, it just locks a few games each day. There are a lot of critics who are putting false reviews on here, so I was just telling you the truth..Version: 2.4

Actual resultsSo I’ve downloaded and tested just about every brain game possible as long (as it was mixed category and didn’t focus on one subject that is) and the first to be eliminated were the ones that offered so little options for it to actually be helpful without paying or when trial was up I’ve kept 3 on my phone for over 4 months now this is one of them! The insight it provides gives advice for how to improve the areas that are not your strongest areas it Also shows you where are are compared to others in different points of life. And not to mention the availability without paying a fortune is what makes it all so amazing to me defiantly advise this game.Version: 5.1

Love this game, however…I love this game, it’s so challenging and fun! However I was offered the chance to upgrade to pro for free by earning points. I needed to send a unique link to people. Once they’ve used the link, downloaded the game and opened it I should receive a point for every person. Several people did what they needed and I still have no points from it. Very disappointed. Also, after a couple of days playing, some games will be locked unless you upgrade which is also disappointing. Not a lot of folk have the money for this unfortunately 😓 I do however enjoy the games I play on this app and will be waiting for my points to finally come and then I can hopefully upgrade for free..Version: 3.2

Great brain training gameI’ve just finished the 7 day free trial, and have been suckered into signing on for the annual subscription as I like the layout, animations, sounds, and activities themselves. Standout features: Wordle of the day 5 task daily workout User comparison Activity tracking Varied skill strength DEVELOPERS TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING ESPECIALLY: Room for improvement: Although there is a vast amount of activities and variety (for a new user), and will make it hard to get bored any time soon-having signed on for a year-this will inevitably happen, and seeing as this game is good to keep one’s brain fluid, increased variation is necessary, your biggest apparent competitor Elevate - Brain Training, have more activities available, although not as stimulating and enjoyable as yours, hence my choosing you over them, but my very long point finally made short is, keep updates coming and increase activities over time, don’t leave us in the dark or else this renewal will be the easiest cancellation I’d have to make. Many thanks for reading and I hope to see these changes introduced over the coming weeks/months. 🙏🏼 P.S. reference “room for improvement” in future updates to throw me a wink and acknowledgment of you taking this on board 😉.Version: 3.8

Really good brain-exercising app!I was enjoying the games I played each day. Lots of variety and a good taster for the paid version. I subscribed and was very impressed to find just how many different tests there were. And it’s true, they do tend to get trickier each time. But I get better at playing them - and generally get higher scores by solving more difficult puzzles or doing them faster. As a 70+ guy, I’m enjoying supplementing my physical exercise with these mental exercises. Just one question: why is the advertisement for the app (that I see playing other games) so different in content from what is contained in it?? 🤔.Version: 3.0

This gameFantastic brain work out and review..Version: 5.3

Not your typical brain gameThere are a lot of “brain games” out there that promise to help you focus. I have tried several. I really like these. I like that you do not have to subscribe but if you do it is better. I like that the variety. I like that there are fast games, math games, timed games, not timed games, reading games, etc. I like that it does not call you a dummy or something demeaning if you do not ace it. I mean, that is the point. You want to get better over time. It shows you your progress which is great. It does tell you if you have a personal high for a game which is always exciting. But it does not put you down if you struggle with something. And the games are challenging without causing anxiety..Version: 2.8

Good gameGood way to start the day..Version: 5.3

Good gameI like this game so much and there is very little ads but the thing is that it asks me to upgrade for pro everyday.Version: 5.2

Heh heh very nice y’allIt’s very good amazing in fact but I am just really surprised at the pro version things. Its like in the free version you get like 10 games and that is it! So I think they should unlock more for the free version. But aside from that the game is good to use, that is why I rated it four stars..Version: 5.1

YesYes.Version: 5.4

Great gamesI have played just about every brain training app on iOS and this one definitely stacks up with the best. I have only used the free version but unlike some of the others it lets you Acess 1 out of the 2 locked mini games each day through completing tasks like sending a link to your friends or following on Twitter. Slightly cheeky? Maybe but I’d prefer to do something that really takes no time or bother and unlock the extra game than pay a ridiculous amount like some of the other top brain training games on iOS. This game has a lot of similar style games to the big apps like peak or elevate but with some fresh style games thrown in. Definitely worth the download if you’re looking to brain train..Version: 3.1

Very good amazing🌸This app is so good! It starts when I was 9 years old when I downloaded this app(MindPal) and started doing 5 challenges a day. Obviously, the longer u have the game, it only gives u 3 challenges a day unless u do the task it says or u get premium. The tasks to get extra games could be things like , write the app a review(like I am doing right now), share this app with a friend, or share it on Facebook. If your child wants to learn but in a fun way, download MindPal! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 4.6

Made to write review to unlock gameThe game is good. Testing fun challenges. But unless you upgrade some levels are locked. You can unlock them if you constantly hassle your friends by sending them messages about it or writing this review..Version: 2.8

Great AppThis is a great game, but the only thing is that if I want to unlock the 3rd or 4th game in the workout, I have to watch an ad or write a review but idk if this is just me. I Recommend it though.Version: 5.2

Loving itMy GP advised I try one of these games as I had concerns about Dementia and Alzheimer’s which runs in the family. After a quick test GP did not believe I had either and ordered a blood test. In his opinion it was more likely the Menopause. I’ve been using the daily workouts for nearly three months. I have noticed a change in my progress and often play the games out of the workout period. My only problem is the colours of the pairs. The red and orange are quite similar in shade so find them comnfusing. Otherwise fun to use..Version: 4.0

Pretty goodI don’t like the fact that you have to pay for vip but loved the app.Version: 5.2

FunI enjoy these games! I like the challenge of trying to train everyday and seeing my days in a row to train increase, I always disappoint myself if I miss a day. The games are fun but I do tend to go for my fave ones so not sure how much that helps my brain if I steer away from some of the challenges. I like the option we have to swap between a couple at each round. The ads are really annoying but thankfully not too long so soon closed. Hopefully my brain is getting quicker although I have noticed that since having a baby my ability to quickly complete Matching Pairs is hopeless, baby brain has definitely affected my speed on this one which is a little frustrating to say the least..Version: 5.1

Even the free version is goodI love this game. The only thing I hate about free games is the constant ads but after all that is free. This game truly minimizes the length of ads so it’s pretty quick. You can review it for unlocking a game, you can share it on Facebook for unlocking a game, but even if you’ve never did do any of that it’s still great. All you do is hit Skip when it tells you to do something between the second game and the next. After that, you still get one more game and you fulfill your quota for the day. I really like it and recommend it highly..Version: 3.9

Fun puzzles for the whole familyGraphics are kid friendly so you can get your kids into the puzzles.Version: 5.3

Great FunI get better and better each time I play.Version: 5.2

Excellent! The app functions really well, which is always a bonus. I had the free version and only used it occasionally but recently I have upgraded to the pro version. I am concerned that I am not utilising my brain to its fullest as I age b/c we all tend to avoid things that require more effort. This app gently exercises a lot of different brain capabilities and provides an easy way of seeing progress or where you might need to do more work. I have recommended it to my 84yo mum ….Version: 3.9

Great! This app is so fun! As you get to challenge yourself and see your results compared to others, only for a little while though it compares your results and others in the free version. I t has a few different challenges in the free version and you have to pay for the “Pro” version to unlock more games. I would like to see different games daily from the “Pro” version put into the free...if you know what I mean.? Overall Great!.Version: 3.5

I liked it for a few days but.So when I got this app I would play on it for 2hours a day but then I got a bit mad past the few days because when ever I would go on the app today I would only got three new games and got the same ones aswell and I got really upset because of that and sometimes it would tell me to upgrade to pro and there was a easy way to get E points by telling your friends to install this app and I was like ok but then when ever I would tell my friends to install this app they would be like yeah and then I would come to there house but I would go on there phone and they wouldn't have MindPal installed and then when I started secondary school (high school) I would try to tell people then they would walk away :/ so I give it a three/five. Please respond to my message as fast as you can :( bye:(.Version: 2.8

Brain ImproverGreat little brain trainer. Fun to play and shows your progress in each game and overall. The only thing I think could be better is that in some of the exercises, when you make a mistake, the game skips to the next board and you don’t get to see where you went wrong. Some do show you and some don’t. It only needs to show for a second or two but sometimes I’m left wondering..Version: 2.8

App was good but a few faultsOverall the app is really good and can help you improve lots of different skills. The few faults that I have is that throughout brain workouts, you have to either share the app with WhatsApp or iMessage on one day, make a review on another day, and the next would be twitter and Facebook, which are apps that typically an 11 yr old (my age) either wouldn’t have or would be allowed to have or both. I understand that MindPal would like money from the free app and the whole point of this is that if you don’t have pro then you will have this until you get it but as said I understand. To sum this all up, I think that this app could be really great if there was no making reviews or sharing with apps..Version: 4.0

Five stars, definitely recommendThis app is absolutely fantastic. I have been using it for over a week now and I can see an improvement in my communication skills, my focus ability, and many more things. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking to improve the sharpness of their mind. Five stars, definitely recommend.Version: 3.5

Really enjoy this appHave only just started playing this app an really enjoy it haven’t yet gone pro but for now the free play is good enough the games are engaging an keep you on your toes it’s cool to also so your process an how far you’ve come.Version: 3.8

Good!I think that it’s a really great game and before I have taken tests, I have been doing lessons on this an it’s really helped! The games on here are (really) fun, but it’s a bit upsetting if you can’t get pro so you have to miss out games in your lesson, for example, if I didn’t have pro and they offer me a deal with twitter-which I don’t have- then I miss out on two games, if I have twitter then I still miss out on a game in my lesson. Apart from the ‘pro sentences’, it’s a really good game and I highly recommend!.Version: 4.5

Change the payment planI would enroll on the pro version of this app. In essence - bar a few issues around some of the words being a bit slang - it’s pretty impressive. However the leap between monthly subs and a reasonable die for me at the moment unaffordable annual keeps me locked in the free version writing reviews Drop the monthly down to a more realistic charge - I’m guessing up might find a whole lot more sign ups. It also shows trust in your own product that people will want to go past a month..Version: 5.3

Amazing gameGreat game.Version: 5.2

FantasticThe best mind game ever. Really enjoy using it every day. The free version is perfectly adequate and challenging as I don’t want to spend too much time out of my day..Version: 3.9

Good gameI really enjoy this game. I would love to buy the premium but seems to cost a bit more than I’m willing to pay for a game. Other than that it’s a great play. I love the variety of challenges that target different parts of the brain and the daily prompts to keep up the daily exercises. If not for the price I would have given 5 stars..Version: 3.9

Love this game!Writing this review so they unlock my game lol.Version: 2.2

Love it ✨✨This game ACTUALLY makes learning fun and incorporates learning into my day really well, I only have the free version yet I still feel like I’m doing things, I also like how even in the free version they give you chances and opportunities to experience new games and games that would originally be locked in the free version..Version: 4.1

Awesome gameplayAwesome gameplay and not too many adds, but it costs a lot to do the premium and it’s to bad you can’t compare yourself and the third and fourth games are locked in free version. Really reliable though and super fun but after a while you have played all the games so it’s kinda boring but other than that it’s super fun!.Version: 4.1

Brilliant and funThe games are brilliant. Mentally challenging without being impossible. They are also fun and slightly addictive as I find myself wanting to beat my previous best score. The free version soon restricts you to 3 different games per day but you can do the games of the day unlimited times so it is still fun and interesting. You just can’t choose which games you want to play unless you pay for the “Pro” version. Overall, an excellent product..Version: 3.8

Not bad5 daily games. But without pro, you get 3 and sometimes 4. Otherwise you can play sudoku blocks unlimited..Version: 5.4

Fun but packed with adsThis is a good fun app but I doubt I’ll keep it long due to the number of ads that pop up. The developers are clearly making enough money off the in app advertising given the number of them and then want $100 for the app. Don’t think so. It’s a good time waster but I would be paying their wanted price for it… even when it is on a 50% saving. They’d get more sales from a cheaper price..Version: 4.5

Great but…This app is spectacular, I use it everyday but there is just one thing that I don’t like. The pro version is really expensive, and I can’t get it so because of that a lot of things are locked, that can only be accessed on pro. Other than that this app is great. There are barely any adds and the games are fun. I always feel proud when ever I beat my high score. My final rating is 4 stars.Version: 3.1

I hope you are part of elevateI hope you are part of elevate if not you guy should join partners - I like the puzzles of mind pal which is not in elevate.Version: 5.2

Mind pal is greatMind pal is one of those apps where you live it but you can’t give it 5/5 but you don’t know why. It’s good for everything; daily workouts, game and relaxing activities. I love the block sodoku in the relax bit. There are restrictions in which you have to pay to play, but before everyone complains about it, can I just say how are the developers supposed to make profit without money?? The only issue I can specifically point out is the notifications. Every 10 minutes my phone pings about mind pal. Other than that, this app is great, I would recommend to people of all ages. -Gracie <333.Version: 4.2

Fun overallOverall, the games are fun. They’re challenging, and I like seeing how I’ve improved and how I compare to others. There are a couple of games that are unfair and should be removed, such as Slicer and Word Trim, and there are some games that you never play. I’ve hit a wall with Synonyms, as there are times when 4 words have the same meaning and I get marked wrong for choosing correct synonyms. Also, I lost my streak twice. I have this set to get a reminder at 1, but I never got the reminder. Recently, the percentiles changed drastically. What used to be a 99.9 percentile is a much lower one, like in the 60s and 70s, even if I reach a personal best. How can one score be in the 99.9 percentile and then a personal best on the same game be in the 60th percentile? Either so many new people are playing easier levels and skewing the scores or these percentiles are made up..Version: 5.1

Fun and mind bendingIt’s a nice distraction in the day to do the tasks. I only have the free version but after the third day the 5 games drop down to just 3 and you are prompted to upgrade to the paid version. Fair enough… but maybe entice people with 10 days free then ask. Just feels like a bit of a trick. Games are fun and not overly ‘Mensa-ish!.Version: 3.5

Old ladies rockI’ve been playing this off and on for two+ years. I have a family of Alzheimer’s patients and am doing my best to keep the mind working. I have a grand daughter playing and several friends who are my age and older. One friend is already having memory issues and has actually an appointment on her calendar to play. She is happy if she remembers to look at her calendar. Her husband who is in his 90’s reminds her. Playing is fun but frustrating sometimes as I am a more geometric mind than a language mind. My reading is faster so one of the games I like better. Putting words together from letters is hard for me. But math, shapes and lines are fun. Try this. Some games you can swap which works for me most of the time..Version: 4.2

GeniusCould it be possible that playing this game each morning as part of my morning routine is actually helping me to perform better at work?! As my problem solving skills improve on the game so do they improve at work?! I’ll keep playing! Highly recommend.Version: 3.9

A+ app from a Special Education TeacherI absolutely love this app! I love the multiple ways it challenges my brain to function in ways I don’t typically get to in a normal day. I have ADHD, so, my working memory is horrible, but this app pushes my limits and I truly feel it has helped pander my working memory capacity. I also have to take medication for a spinal cord injury and that causes brain fog and short term memory loss. When I am consistent with doing my daily workout, I truly believe my neurological functioning is so much better! if you want a challenge, or if you have neurodivergence of any level, you will not regret getting this app!.Version: 5.3

Good fun but expensive for proGames are fun and well explained. I wouldn’t spend £60+ for the pro version though. It starts off letting you do 5 rounds a day & telling you your score and how you compare with others your age etc and then it stops telling you and allows only 3 rounds and says if you upgrade you can play 5 rounds again or do a task (share on WhatsApp/ write review etc) and you can play 4 rounds. If they weren’t so greedy with the cost of pro then they’d get a lot more people actually upgrading to pro & in turn probably increase their profits! Anything over £10 and I can’t justify the cost as I will play it flat out for a couple of weeks and then get bored. Now if it was cheaper I’d still get bored but I’d of still spent the money lol so a win win for the app developers..Version: 3.5

Surprisingly good!Simple fun games, some play to my strengths & others challenge me & get the grey matter working in a different way. I used the free version but used it every day so decided to upgrade, and I love the flexibility & variety of the games. The free version is great with the option to do tasks to unlock games, & I like how each game explains what it tests/trains. Now with the paid version I t’s really interesting to see what things I’m good at, how my stats have improved & what I need to work on. It does really feel like I’m sharper, and the brain is a bit more elastic. The only game I’ve ever paid money for & I strongly recommend..Version: 3.4

Great app to give brain a workoutAs I have been getting older I have noticed my memory is not as it once was. I saw this app and gave it a try. It has several different “games” that rotate through the daily workouts. None of the tasks require any specialized knowledge. There are logic puzzles, memory puzzles, simple math (+, -, /, and *), and others. The free version let’s you play 3 different games. The paid version will give you 2 more. I am using the free version so I don’t know if the paid version just gives you 2 more of the same games in the rotation or has games not available in the free version. To play 3 games only takes a few minutes so it allows a quick workout. The other good thing is there a very few ads in the free version and are not long. I have enjoyed it thus far. I suggest giving the free version a spin but play several days so you can see the various games..Version: 2.9

AmazingSince I started playing this game it has helped me a lot Also I love it because I learn something new every second Thank you for making this app From Sequoia.Version: 2.4

AMAZING even the free versionYou still get free daily training with the free version. Which is AMAZING !! You have to pay for anything extra. Which is reasonable and would be totally worth it!! This is the only app that I’ve consistently used and haven’t got bored of it!! I’ve enjoyed it so much and it’s VERY fun. It’s the only app of its kind that doesn’t force me to buy the paid/full version and is quite happy for its users to choose which one is convenient and benefits them as long as they’re gaining from the app. It’s about the brain gaining rather than the money gaining for them which I LOVE !!.Version: 3.0

Great appI love this app and, as I’m getting on in years, I enjoy challenging myself and trying to keep my mind sharp. I don’t keep in the best of health and get upset when I lose my streak due to illness and feel that it is an unnecessary aspect of the game. I’m not greatly into social media and don’t like that to open further games you need to share, therefore, I play the same games constantly and some scores don’t the chance to advance because I don’t get much games in that particular category. Really enjoy it though, and it’s what kick starts my day..Version: 4.0

AmazingOMG this is literally the best game ever everyone buy it it helps me with grammar spelling and has so many cool games 0MG you guys need this and it’s literally it’s a five star and like it’s free to get so like yes you can get on phone tablet it’s totally free and it’s literally so cool. It has like one at I’ve been playing for two hours and like I haven’t even had an ad you guys need this like literally need need need and tell your parents that you guys should get this because first of all it helps you with grammar spelling and everything else second of all it’s really fun third of all it’s because I’m telling you to get it. You need this literally I’m not joking is making me cry. If you don’t get it I’m literally serious. This game is amazing. Amazing. Literally amazing, amazing. This is the perfect game. Perfect type of game the koala super cute and like yes yes queen this game is sleigh..Version: 5.1

Great way to exercise your brainThis is a great way to see how effective your brain is comparing to your own age group. Practice and re-laying the games you can measure your improvement. I like that is a one off cost and not having the game ask for more funds during games...so it’s very cost effective and challenging. Love it! Out of all the games l love the memory games no literacy. I send thanks to the developments teams!.Version: 2.8

One of the better mind gamesI’ve tried a lot of these type of mind games and MindPal is in the top three of all the different apps I’ve tried..Version: 5.3

It’s good but some improvmentsIt is very helpful and you should get and I have been using it every day but sometimes when you press something or swipe it says you did it incorrectly or you did not press so you should get it and use and I use it everyday but remember that sometimes it does not register or says you did something else (it has only happened to me in the swipe the cube game).Version: 2.8

FUN!!!!This is a really fun game and great for ur brain I love playing all the games but a lot of tiers the 3rd and 4th games is the workout are locked and I find it really annoying but I definitely think you should get this game.Version: 5.3

InterestingSome great adult games that need a quick brain and a few childish ones but overall it’s pretty good.Version: 5.2

Good, but some improvements to be made!I’m not sure that the pet sort game does a lot to improve mental agility, and hadn’t even thought about the accessibility until I’d read someone else’s review, but it does feel like a long time to just to staring at a screen. I like the ‘finding the words’ that goes into a crossword type shape, however I’m sure there were some words that I ‘found today’ that weren’t accepted- US/Uk variants? I’ve found this on other games- it was also annoying that I timed out and the missing words weren’t revealed! Other than that, good for a free app! ☺️.Version: 3.0

2nd reviewI reviewed this app last year when I upgraded to the subscription. I play everyday but am finding the same games pop up day after day, while some games I never ever get on my daily workout. As I said before I know I can play these games but they don’t count for my daily tally. Also I keep seeing “ look out for new games”, one year on no new games. I like the app but am reconsidering keeping my subscription if there are no new games coming along..Version: 4.0

Helps with ADHDI have noticed improvement in my attention and memory scores using this app. Thank you for making it! It’s fun and engaging..Version: 3.1

Flexible MindPalI am delighted that I am expert at doing the games I wanted to do when I saw this advertised — one line and dots connect — and disturbed by how stumped I get at word games. Some games I don’t like but I keep doing them because I want my brain to be flexible. Slicer is getting easier. My synesthesia gets in the way of the match game, where I sometimes feel blind, but even that can be conquered if I obsessively play it. Obsessing is easy to do. I am better at the Even Number Smiling face one. Focus on the task at hand. How to you get the speed on that one with the animal faces? Is there a trick? I’ll figure it out, I’m sure. Get this app and improve your brain abilities — but remember to stop playing with it in order to use your flexed mind for other things..Version: 3.9

Overall pretty good!Great little games that I actually enjoy and don’t find too challenging. My main qualm is the fact that, after a few days, the 3rd and 4th games are locked to those on the free version. I like many here, am only writing this review because it means I can unlock the 4th game today, haha. Despite this problem, I usually just play one or two of the free games in order to make up for the ones I missed. If I manage to keep up a considerable streak, something I regularly fail to do, I may consider getting the pro version, but, for now, this works for me..Version: 5.1

It’s a good game but needs a few improvementsI really love the game but I do feel as if there could be a few improvements made to make it the best. I love the idea of this game training your brain but after a while, the third and fourth games of your daily workout require you to get the pro version which you have to pay for. It does change sometimes tho like today to get the fourth game, I had to write a review (hence this review). I do think that all games in the daily workout should be accessible to everyone even if you don’t have pro. Otherwise, this game is amazing and I would totally recommend it 😊x.Version: 4.8

FunLove it! The free version now only allows to play a limited set of games, but it is still fun..Version: 5.3

Good but not greatIt’s a really good game but I just don’t like that you need the pro version for some games and I always get so many notifications but other than that it’s a great game.Version: 5.2

YeahYeah.Version: 5.3

MindPal: koala cute & terrific gamesI don’t know how much I benefit from the games increasing the grey matter between my ears. At 51 I have noticed that I walk into a room & cannot quickly recall what I went in there for. Not to panic - I firmly believe that lack of attention is the culprit as much as any other ageing myth. These games are quick, a bit intense and challenging. I don’t pay for the pro version. I appreciate the simple tasks required to market the game to the wider audience via my vast social media reaches and I am rewarded with a satisfying level of the pro version. MindPal. Gotcha some..Version: 3.0

I’m writing this app to unlock a new level, but what I’m saying I meanI never leave reviews. Well, that’s an overstatement. I seldom leave reviews and when I do a product is either super terrible or really good. This app is the latter. Most ‘brain game’ apps get lost in the abyss of all my other similar applications and repetitive notifications. But this one I like, the games are fun and challenging. They aren’t monotonous, you get a choice on what game you want to play according to what area you want to work on. Even with the free version. I haven’t purchased the upgrade yet, but I know I will in the future because I believe it’s worth it. I can actually see my improvement in certain areas which makes me want to continue with my progress. The reminders are consistent and non intrusive. Definitely worth the 5 stars..Version: 3.5

Hi!!I think this app is amazing because it has got my brain together and I could use for speeding because usually I would so slowly but now I can be faster and it helps me a lot by using my mind working and trying new things like it’s not just not fun it’s homework not really homework there’s like an app with games that’s gonna get your child’s brain together so I think this game I need app deserves a five star thank you and I hope you enjoy the app as much as I Did.Version: 5.1

Short but sweetExcellent games hasn’t traversed onto the pro version Just finding the time to remember to complete daily.Version: 3.1

Its a really good app 😊I really like this app but when i play the games it just keeps giving me the same games over and over again so i never get to try any new ones there are like at least 10 games that i haven't played yet probably more because the free ones are always the same and you have to get the pro version to play all of the other games so please make the free games different from time to time because they are getting boring because i have to play them over and over again 🙄.Version: 4.9

Great app and all but...I love this app and the first week the second and third games were free but then I would have to pay for premium just to play the second and third games, I dont really like this because somedays there would be a fun looking second or third game and I couldn't play it! I get they have to make money to not go bankrupt but still you could just make people pay for ingame points instead of making them pay for premium, over all this is a pretty good game and I hope that the game updates so that you don't have to pay for the second and third games, thank you for reading!.Version: 5.1

I totally recommendI really like mind pal as it helps with your attention span speed accuracy and maths skills but it doesn’t feel like it! Mind pal makes fun games to play so it really just seems like you’re playing a really fun game that actually benefits you even though there is a pro version which you have to pay for our use the free version and it is so so good so it doesn’t feel like I’m getting ripped off. I recommend it to all my friends and family and to you too and if you are considering to download the app have fun and enjoy!.Version: 5.1

Lovely app, stimulates motivation and confidence!I’m hooked. My kids are hooked. But my kids are messing up my stats! I’m a slightly competitive person- haha. I think families would benefit for being able to quickly switch between players and being able to share stats with each other. Would also be nice to see my stats against everyone, not just my age group. Maybe an explaination or how brains age and what to expect in my results based on that science. For example impulse control vs patience and speed verses accuracy compared to age groups would be interesting..Version: 3.9

Fantastic!It's a real challenge!!! Smile.Version: 5.2

Enjoying this App.I really enjoy this app but really dislike the amount of ads it has. I would purchase the pro version but only an annual subscription is available instead of a monthly offer. I would be willing to pay a bit more for a monthly option. Maybe the developers will read this and realize they could be making money offering both annual and monthly purchase options. I enjoy the games. They are challenging and fun. EDIT: I just discovered you can now purchase monthly. $9.99 is a bit pricey for those on budgets but have given 5 stars due to great app and optional subscriptions choices..Version: 2.8

I'm committed but ...Hi, I've been using your app each day for the past two years and am due to sign up next month for another year. My only hesitation is are there more tasks available since i downloaded it two years ago and haven't updated it? It's quite expensive so I want to be sure it's not the same old same old and the games remain challenging. For me to have religiously used it for 2 full years each and every day, tells you my level of enjoyment and commitment to it..Version: 4.2

Keeps you thinking!I’m enjoying playing the various games MindPal presents each. Considering upgrading as it is frustrating to deal with ads and blocked games. Still, free games are challenging and do level up with my progress..Version: 5.4

Great appIts really good and unlike alot of other apps u dont need premium or to pay to use the app although once u use it for a week or two 2 of the game options in the daily thing become premium but u can still use it and they have tones of free options and i fond it to be quite accommodating.Version: 5.1

Great little appNice short sharp set of games to get the brain ticking & gets through them quick. I have another & you have to click through this n that before the next game. Only 4 stars as the games are a bit too short before having to pay a lot for pro..Version: 2.4

Love it, plus a few suggestionsI’m a paid subscriber and I’m really getting my money‘s worth! I use this every day in the morning and I’m tracking my cognitive performance on a regular basis. One thing I would like to request is that you give more information regarding who my stats are being compared with. Are you comparing me with just men my age? And what age range is being used? How many people are l being compared with?It would be nice to be able to select which age groups I could be compared with as well. This would have the benefit of allowing me to assess my relative brain age so to speak. Thanks for a great product!.Version: 3.9

Love itI downloaded the game today and I really like it because I struggle with math and English so I thought it would be good to find ways to help myself and this app is really helping me with accomplishing that goal of mine to get better at subjects I struggle with. I was wondering would this app be able help people with disabilities or learning difficulty’s could there be a section on that please specifically for them it would mean a lot.Version: 2.4

GreatIt has great games that really help your mind..Version: 5.2

Refer-able App!I never talk about the apps I use for pleasure/leisure mainly because I mean who cares. But if in a conversation with someone who tells me they like mind helping games I always suggest this app. I came on to see if there’s a free trial period for new users but found the reviews and decided I should share with whoever cares! It’s a really great app. They have plenty of games to where it doesn’t feel so repetitive. They track your progress as you become stronger at each it’s rewarding. Tracks you as you do it daily. I’ve only gotten off track a few times, but each time I was devastated! It’s usually because someone calls and I forget to finish my daily 5. Boy it stings! So somehow they’ve kept me wanting more! I love that they offer wordle from New York Times which also leads to some of their free games (or you can subscribe to them as well) I loooooove connections on that. On mind pal my faves are match pairs, grammar, slicer & one line. Only game I always pass on is the speed reading I don’t find that enjoyable. Anyway for anyone who cares!!!.Version: 4.9

I’m only 10I like this game but it is kinda hard but it’s fun. I got higher than 99% on something for 13-15 yrs old and I’m only ten. I guess that means I’m smart.Version: 2.2

Great AppI like this app because it helps with my memory and it makes me want to do better each time ❤️.Version: 3.5

Awesome And Actually Works WellI’ve only had this app for two days now but I already really like it. I like that it sets a goal of five mind workouts a day but also let’s you do the ones you’ve already done some more. A lot of the time I’m on an app and I feel like I have to keep going but then I look at the clock and I’ve been on it for an hour. This game is different. I can stop after I meet my goal for the day. I also like the quick instructions so you know how to play without having to read a who five paragraphs. It is nice to come home after a long day and just take a quick break and do mind puzzles. The puzzles are also not too hard and not too easy. They also tell you why the correct answer is correct. Lastly, the adds. I realize I’ve only been on it two days but I’ve only seen two adds so far. When I do experience an add it is short and the x appears almost immediately. I have the free version and I feel like the limits are reasonable. There are free games of the week and you can play the ones you’ve done in you mind workouts. I think this game is very great..Version: 4.2

Good mind exerciseThis app is great. I do it every morning while I have my coffee!.Version: 5.3

The morning workoutI have been trying this brain trainer first thing in the morning and it is proving very stimulating. It has a variety of workouts which are creative and in some cases quite novel and I am enjoying not only the games but the conciseness of each game. There is no wasted time - even the inevitable adverts can be cut short quickly to allow the flow to carry on. I am contemplating moving to the ‘Pro’ level but at this early stage I will enjoy the variety of this brain trainer in it’s easy to use and well designed layout..Version: 3.1

SuperJ’adore jouer à ce jeux. Très facile à comprendre et pratique bien mon anglais. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 5.3

Fun works out the brainEnjoy.Version: 5.3

I Play MindPal Every DayI bought the pro lifetime account so I could have access to all the games and not have to pay any further subscription fees. I use it every day and feel that it is helping my mind to shake out the cobwebs and sharpen my wits. I also like that the stats allow me to see areas where I’m strong and also areas where improvement is needed. For example, my problem areas are memory and flexibility so I play games in those categories a little bit extra each day. I also like that it lets me see stats on how I compare to other MindPal users in my same age group. Keep in mind that the stats are available to paid accounts. A request to the developer would be to know how many users it is comparing us to. For example, seeing that it says I’m X% better is kind of meaningless if I don’t have any idea how many people are being compared. Aside from that, I really like this app and am glad that I got it. Even after playing it 179 days in a row I don’t see myself getting bored with it anytime soon. If you want or need an app to exercise the old bean then I recommend it..Version: 3.9

Fun and consistently goodI’ve got close to a 300-day streak in this game, so I guess it’s time to review it. The games are short and nicely challenging, and its really nice to see my gradual improvement. I also have (and pay for) Lumosity, but I don’t do it every day because the games take a bit longer and it feels more like, “oof, gotta take a test this morning.” Mindpal provides a good way to get my brain going in the morning — my job requires a lot of attention to detail — in a way that’s fun. I’m in my forties, and it’s been good to figure out strategies to perform better in the games. I feel like it’s actually making my brain more agile and getting me out of some problem-solving ruts that have been there for decades. I’m not someone who minds paying for apps, and IMO, this one was a good use of my money. I gotta say, that koala winking at me when I finish my “training” or taking off in its little cape is weirdly motivating. I hope they never get rid of the koala..Version: 5.1

Awesome games!I love all the games in mindpal!.Version: 3.9

Issues with content and 2-option multiple choiceOne of the most entertaining pieces of this up for me is the flash words game. It involves reading at a fast space. The content of this game ought to be very dependent on your ability to read, and not at all based on your ability to recall information that you’ve been taught before. Consider making the information being tested on to be fictional, and the questions much less given to guessing. Consider >2 potential answers. Giving information about South African apartheid, for instance, and then testing the player on whether the Truth & Reconciliation Commission was intended to promote (A) land reform or (b) reconciliation, is not a test of reading comprehension. It’s a contextually obvious answer..Version: 3.5

Active brainAfter getting covid i had serious brain fog and this app helps my brain function and makes me feel like i’m using it as much as i actually should be 😹.Version: 3.9

Good app but it glitched for me.I LOVE this game, I’ve been playing it for so long lately, that I had a 25 day streak. Unfortunately last night after I had dinner I was going to do my daily games ( I have free version), then my phone died. After I charged it, it reset even though I was half way through a game and now I’m back to 1 day. Kinda sad because the steaks is what kept me interested besides the mini games etc, I love this game but I’m just sad that I lost my 25 day streak. 😕.Version: 3.9

FunI play this once a day. Randomly picks games for you to play and challenge different parts of your brain 👍👍.Version: 5.3

Quick and easy to challengeA quick May to keep your mind active and thinking..Version: 2.5

MindPalAn enjoyable and relatively short daily brain training workout. Frustratingly ads pop up after each little game which for me does spoil it a bit, although the fourth game can be unlocked by completing an optional task. The games are varied enough and some more challenging than others, but I guess that’ll be the same for everyone. It’s a shame more of the game isn’t unlocked without paying for the Pro version as for me the free version has too many ads. It’s four stars due to this, otherwise could have been five stars even for the free version..Version: 5.1

MindPalGreat app to get your mind thinking... sometimes outside the box It’s good for your mind to keep it engaged especially if your job is the same thing over again. And it uses different parts of your mind. All in all good little games within a game.Version: 2.8

Highly RecommendThis game is awesome it makes me feel like my brain is still functioning and it actually improves your memory, focus, etc. For me there aren’t that many ads so there’s no bad things about this app, I highly recommended it to anyone who can take about 5 minutes out of their day to play this app..Version: 2.2

Brilliant!I’m a keen bridge player so problem solving should be high for me, which it is. This is the best game I’ve ever played for neuro plasticity development. It is just brilliant. I’ve paid for the full game because a. I enjoy it so much, b. I feel the developers deserve to be rewarded for their efforts and c. If I get so much enjoyment and benefit, then why not but it? Personal choice to be sure but it was my birthday present to myself..Version: 3.9

Pretty Good 👍MindPal is a really fun and challenging app but it has way to many ads, it had none when i installed it about a year ago on my iPhone 7 now it’s got heaps of ads, if the amount grows I will probably uninstall it.Version: 3.9

MindPalGood game.Version: 1.1

Absolutely brilliant! My 7 year old showed me this app and I have played it every single day since!! The range of puzzles/games is vast! Yes you have to pay to get all the games but the weekly free games change and daily challenges change too! And you can replay games as many times as you want!! I’m seriously impressed with this app!! I have hundreds of games and this is the only one I’ve ever bothered to leave a review for!!! Oh and the ads are short and not continuous like many other games!! 5⭐️ all the way!!!.Version: 4.5

Hey guys! 🐨So I really like this game a lot because it challenges my brain and I really like that. I actually get better every day with these games and even though it’s math and.. (typically it’s not my most favorite subject…) it’s still pretty fun and I just love the little koala it’s SO cute 🥰 🐨. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to go on pro to get more games.. honestly I would like if you did not have to go to pro JUST to unlock 3rd and 4th games… I would like to do a WHOLE workout not half.. so I would really like that. But overall it’s a really good game and I think readers should download this it’s amazing. If you want a fun but challenging game, download this app!.Version: 3.2

MindPalI find five minutes a day playing these games really boosts my brain function. And I like the fact I can go back and play my favourite games or practice those I found hard..Version: 3.5

Challenging but so fun!I look forward to playing these games every day in my free time. There’s some really good ones that when you first look at the directions that are given at the start of a new challenge or game you think oh that will be easy! Only to find out that it’s actually really challenging and fun because it really makes you think and sometimes stumps you. Those are the ones that i always have to play over and over to see how much better I can get each time I play. I’d recommend this app, definitely a step above just the regular app games that can be mindless time wasters, this app is a great way to spend your time, we all want to be as smart as we can and challenge our brains so we are sharp at any age!.Version: 4.1

Helpful and quick exercises. The beauty of this free app, is that 3 challenges can be doable almost everyday. It has helped me some. I don’t think I would ever pay for full, that would take chance out and would also make things too accessible. Make sure to turn on airplane mode to avoid pop ups. The ads overall aren’t terrible, they don’t take me instantly from the app or have long videos. All in all, I do play weekly, sometimes daily. Many brain games reappear often. Playing about 2 months or more, I have yet to encounter at least 4 of the games. If they are pay only access, I am okay never playing them..Version: 3.5

MindPalThis game is awesome. It really gives your brain a workout.Version: 5.2

Fun but not all games are unlocked !Fun and interactive brain games. Whilst the first session let's you explore all the games in the session it stops after this unless you want to pay and upgrade to a Pro version or unless you promote the app on other social media etc. Or write a review and get an extra game which I'm doing now. Why can't it just be fun for all without needing to ' do this and that ' to be able to enjoy all features..Version: 3.2

Brain plasticity trainingIt’s always good to ask ourselves in the day if something is good for our brains or not. I’m grateful to have been introduced to mind pal and have been enjoying being able to set aside time for my brain each day. Brain plasticity is a wonderful thing and it’s fun to see how much potential we have just by investing into growing and taking care of our brains. The free version has been awesome and all the different games are too fun! My best friend and I do it daily and love sharing scores. It has been helping me strengthen my weaknesses and diversify my strengths 🤗 I hope you try it out!.Version: 3.7

Great gameIt’s quite a good game that gets your mind thinking. The only bad thing about it is the paid pro version that unlocks more games but I think to unlock games you should play a certain amount of games to unlock it..Version: 4.0

Really fun app, the new definitions are annoyingI’m a fan, these games challenge my mind but are fun rather than feeling like it’s trying too hard to be educational. I like challenging myself to better my scores. The new bit where all the is really annoying, it has a ‘tap to skip’ but it rarely works. Any chance this could be an option I can turn off?.Version: 3.0

A good challengeIt’s a good daily challenge around problem solving and practising some quick thinking.Version: 3.9

A good App but can be BetterI like the app a lot and especially the variety of different exercises that focus on different skill types. Giving it 4 stars because 1) the Cube game does not really work for me as it misreads the swiping gestures on the screen a lot of the time (I.e, it says “right” , I touch the screen and swipe to the right but it thinks there was a mistake. ) this has happened a lot of time and I am confident it it not me. In other games where speed and precision matters , I do pretty well. 2) the sorting game (with differently coloured animals) the developers need to consider accessibility, I.e the needs of the colour blind people. Sorting out light blue coala bears and light pink pigs requires super effort and concentration as they appear almost the same (unless this is the intention to make the game harder). Sorting animals whose colours are more contrast is much easier..Version: 2.8

It’s great but is annoying sometimesThis app is great and I think that it’s really helping my memory and all of that stuff, but I hate how much it wants you to download the premium version. I am actually writing this review so I can unlock the 3rd and 4th game. I can’t even see how good I did over all people in my age range. I also would like if you could change your age on the app. My mom got the app and put in HER age but I mostly play on it and so the app is comparing me to 50 year olds and I am not even 10. Overall the app has a good concept and I think it helps and everything but it needs some improvement..Version: 3.4

MindPalPlaying every day right now but it would be nice to have a puzzle or brain game for a change that doesn’t require watching ads or doing tasks to get certain games unlocked. I would love to be able to just play the standard version without doing this. Cheers..Version: 2.2

AmazingThis app really helped me because every day it reminded me to challenge my brain and it was really helpful but the only reason I gave it a four star is because after a few days of doing it there were games we had to get pro for and do things to play one game but overall is is a really good game I would recommend.Version: 4.9

I love it and hate it at the same time1 can't stop playing this game. Initially, I didn't want to spend the money on it but got tired of looking at ads. (At least I think this game had ads. I've tried several. This is the only one I now pay for.) I also got tired of not being able to play the other three tiers in the daily prompt. Then, one day, I was able to unlock one if I followed them in Instagram. (Clever foxes!) And that's how they got me. So I finally said, Fine! I'll pay for it for ONE year and cancel if I don't enjoy it. For now, do I ever enjoy it. I spend far, far too much time playing. And whodathunk a game where you simply have to find three matching numbers or letters would be so darn hard AND therefore addictive? Good lord, do I ever waste hours trying to do that one. And the one where you spell words out of shuffled letters? Forget about it. I've given up bathing, eating, brushing my teeth; my Helpful Not Helpful Report a Concern.Version: 4.7

Excellent! It will keep your mind sharp. Very useful exercises and at the same time entertaining..Version: 5.2

Enjoyable challengeOffers several games that are quick to play, challenge one’s focus and speed, and are enjoyable. Well recommended as a speedy daily workout.Version: 2.5

BrilliantThis is the best app I’ve encountered. I can’t praise it enough. I’m even considering getting the upgraded version because I want to play it much longer each day than I can on the free version. When I think of all the rubbish apps I’ve downloaded and then got rid of, I’m amazed that even part of this app is free. Thank you MindPal. Amazing workouts 🙏🙏🙏🙏.Version: 3.4

I wish you didn’t want at for it but it’s funThis app is fun and it adds challenge to the games I am presented with. I like to test myself and it has helped my brain work harder. I like that you can swap a challenge out and retry challenges as many times as you’d like. It gets a little stale after a few months because you’ve played all the games by now. I’d like some new challenges. I’ve paid for it for a year, so I’ll keep going but when I looked at my first 90 days, nothing has changed. Did I mention they show your daily accomplishments, and compare you to all the other players. In the long run, It has made me aware of my cognitive abilities and keeping them up. I think it’s a better app than a lot of the crap games, people get addicted too!.Version: 3.5

Mind PalI thought this was one of those games that are all over the app world that was nothing like what is presented in the apps selling point on the front side. So after getting in and consistently playing it I have noticed a Sufi mite positive side to it in many different aspects of my minds cognitive skills. I enjoy and rather look forward to exercising this app with my mind and miss it some days due to work, and it shows! Plus it keeps track of your progress and abilities strengths and weakness’ It’s fun and challenging at the same time. Didn’t expect it and happily suprise! I highly suggest this app for any body, it’s all positive for me!.Version: 4.0

Great mind gamesI really enjoy using MindPal because it has such a variety of games available and they are all fun. I also like it how it tells you if you’re performing in a high percentile..Version: 3.7

AwesomeReally enjoy doing this everyday, helps exercise my brain a bit everyday before school work etc. I recommend you do this also!.Version: 2.4

Absolutely AmazingMind pal is an amazing app and I highly recommend even with the free version of it I have recommended it to my nan and now all her friends play it. I have recommended the app to many others and they love it it’s a great app to help with general things like your memory and reading speed and much more. Again I highly recommend the app because it has multiple options and features but also choices and it’s an app made to fit your needs and standards..Version: 4.6

GreatI like this app because it challenges my brain which I like. And I think it’s fair that there’s a pro version, you can tell that the app is professionally designed and they deserve money. I myself didn’t get the pro version because I think it’s good enough for me. It’s nice that they let you play some games even when you don’t buy the pro version. Overall, it’s a great app..Version: 2.2

Great fun. Good valueI had the free version in my phone for a while and decided to buy a one year subscription. It’s been great. Because of Apple’s family sharing my wife can play too. There’s lots of quick games, that only take a couple of minutes to play. Really good for keeping your mind active. It’s my go-to app now when I have any time to spare rather than scrolling mindlessly through social media apps. I feel like it’s exercise for my brain..Version: 4.0

Who needs Pro?3/5 games available on standard mode plus the possibility of unlocking 1 more each day. I enjoy the games. They are fun to play..Version: 5.2

Fun and challenging for awhileMany of the games are fun initially and designed for speed and accuracy, as most are timed. Supposedly “more games” will be added but after several months and moving into “advanced” for my age group, in every category, I wonder when these “new games” will appear. Also, it’s hard to advance in the advance grouping so it’s easy to lose interest. Forty games sounds like a lot, but after a while the same 40 don’t help one to advance and some of them are not enjoyable. I enjoyed the app for the first two months but have since put a stop on my subscription and won’t renew, as there is no incentive if advancing seems unlikely. If more new games appeared after reaching a certain level, maintaining the interest would be higher..Version: 4.0

Fantastic but somewhat lackingI got this app to work on my memory but loved the other brain workouts available. It covers a wide range of activities while still staying fun. The only thing I’d say is the memory games aren’t as prominent as any other brain workouts which isn’t fantastic as that’s the one thing I really wanted to work on. There’s 5 games total per day but the 3rd and 4th games are locked unless you’ve bought the pro version which is something I wish wasn’t a thing. Still a great app nonetheless..Version: 4.5

Great! It’s great! I like the games. I also like how it’s always new games and love it when they back on rotation. The summary is my favourite thing. I have been trying to up my “flexibility “ skill.Version: 4.0

Mind PalI like this brain Game. I’m in my 60s and When I was in my Mid Thirties I suffer a severe head trauma in which I had to learn most everything all over again and learn different now and nothing is the same as it was but I play these games every day because if you don’t use it you lose it. AlongWith the head injury my mom died from dementia & that scares me, Because there’s a type that can be hereditary.. I heard if you keep your brain busy work with puzzles & other brain games your odds well be lessened of getting it as you get older & older . This is a great way to Keep your brain active it’s also fun.Version: 3.7

Daily chance to engage brainDaily reminder to think and put the brain in gear. The puzzles are just slightly beyond my reach which challenges me to try harder. I sometimes play the accessible games for the week in my spare time. Some games just don’t seem to get my brain to work out but I keep trying. I am now at the point where there is not a lot of room to go higher which makes the game even harder. Lots of scope to dredge out my maths and physics skills as well as word knowledge. The only tiny frustration is the American spelling vs. Australian spelling in word games. I would like to better understand the difference with PRO but so far I have enjoyed it..Version: 4.4

Love itLove this game and upgraded to the Pro version pretty much straight away as I enjoy the games and challenges that we have each week. However I would love to learn more about the science behind each game please, that would be great as it would be fun to learn more about. Otherwise this game is great and I love playing it everyday. Thank you..Version: 3.9

One of the best.I have tried many Brain Games in the past. This one is best suited to me. It’s easy to understand, games are not complicated, nice graphics, it’s a pleasure to play each day which encourages me to challenge myself daily. Well worth the money upgrading. I like to see how I am progressing. Would recommend..Version: 2.8

Awesome!Ok! So! First of all, I think that MindPal is a really awesome app to use to help increase your brain power. It’s really fun, and I think that soon, I will be able to increase my memory and brain functioning. However, I have one problem. I’m 10 turning 11 in a few days, and the youngest age choice is 13. I think that all ages should be able to use this app without having to lie about their age, and that there should be a choice for if you would like a easy puzzle, medium, or hard. Overall, this is a really great app and I definitely recommend it!.Version: 3.9

Very good appOnly wish they could have an option to turn off language games, I know many people who like to this app but cannot because they don’t speak English.Version: 4.1

:)I really do like the app, it’s got a lot of variety and the games are quick to do. There’s always something new to do. They tell you the rules every time just incase you forget and high scores etc you do have to unlock games 4-5 by buying the premium but they do give you deals such as, follow us on Instagram for to unlock game 4) but overall I’ve been using it a lot and it does get your brain thinking. Recommend doing it as soon as you wake so your prepared for the day, I know it does sound stupid but it does help!!! :) 🐸🐸.Version: 3.2

AmazingI like this app and I recommend it for other people, the accuracy on this app is awesome... I’ve had this app for a month and already my Problem Solving, Speed and Memory are already at expert. This app brings out the best mind strengths in you, Amazing game... I LOVE IT!.Version: 3.0

Incredible - can't wait to see improvementsI think the stats can be somewhat misleading if you're trying to compare your performance to the average user - remember that mindpal uses the results of other users but the mindpal demographic isn't necessarily representative of the overall population. i think it'd be great to see if mind pal could do a control group test so users can compare their results to the average person's performance, not just other users. Another great touch would be if the app could offer more information on the aspects it measures - like flexibility or speed. if users could have an evaluation of their performance and a quick explanation of what each aspect actually means it'd add a really nice personal touch. this is a great app if you want to train those brain muscles and i can already see myself learning a lot from this as someone with adhd, but i hope they continue improving their scientific measurements and offer more of a personal evaluation for users ! :).Version: 2.7

RBWow! What a shock and surprise! I knew that my brain was not as sharp as it used to be but when I saw the initial results I thought “it’s way worse than what I had considered”. So knowing about mind plasticity I KNEW I had to do something or fall into the ranks of senior brains. My scores have gone up wildly and this has seeped over to my life! I did know I was being less flexible, but not to the extreme point that my numbers that I came up with, ugh! So give yourself the gift of a new brain. Ok, the same one, but in way better shape. You, your businesses, your family and your friends will appreciate it! Just do it!.Version: 3.9

I like it!Very good app. Games are challenging and with the pro option you can compare your results with other users which gives a bit of a challenge within yourself. Also tracks your progress. Free version is good too with a lot of options to chose from.Version: 4.3

Great GameI’ve seen a lot of games like this where the premium unlocks pretty essential parts of the game. This one only locks two of the 5 games you get everyday. It’s got great instructions and great games. 10/5 stars..Version: 2.2

Free version is fineIt's a good app to keep your mind doing better things as apposed to endlessly scrolling on social media apps - free version is still fun, ads do take up a lot of time & can break your concentration so in that sense the app contradicts itself but other than that. it's all good..Version: 3.9

AwesomeI love this app so much. I feel as thought it has really helped me learn stuff and figure out important life skills that will be useful. Not all games are timed meaning that you can play a non timed game wich a lot of people like. You can review your progress and see the areas that you can work on. I looked at my progress sand saw the the maths was low so I clicked games and found the maths category and played a bunch of math games to up level my maths progress. I would definitely recommend this app.Version: 4.0

BrilliantVery well designed app with excellent, challenging games which I find better than other app games available. Sadly the free version doesn’t allow you to activate too many levels and if you want to take full advantage it looks like you have to take up a subscription. The only down side..Version: 3.2

Great mind challengesI really enjoy playing this game. It keeps me challenged. There is a nice variety of different games and they are fun to play. I have played other brain games but I enjoy this one the most. I don’t like that there are ads after every game but if that’s what keeps the game free, I’ll take it. They have bills to pay still and they are quick ones. Definitely give it a try.Version: 5.3

ReviewGreat games but too many ads.Version: 5.3

MindPalEnjoy the game, certainly challenging. Shame that they limit the levels you can play when you don’t have the full version. Full version costs are ridiculously expensive. Shame.Version: 2.4

Amazing but…I love MindPal, it’s a great app to use to improve skills like problem solving and attention. The games are super fun whilst still having a positive effect on your brain. At first it was great, I did the 5 games of my ‘ workout’ and saw how I compared to people my age. There were some things locked, like some extra games. After a few days however, I couldn’t do the 3rd or 4th game unless I shared it on some social media platform which I didn’t have or writing a review ( this is why I am currently writing a review 😂). And I couldn’t see how I compared to people my age. I do understand that this is how MindPal get their money, but enough things were locked at the start and there is no need to lock more when the user has played for a few days. Having said that however, MindPal is still i great app, even if most things are locked, and I do recommend downloading it..Version: 4.3

Good fun & Good for me; win-win!Yes this is a great app, I love playing the games and challenging myself again and again. I am only using the free version at the moment to check it out but it’s tempting to upgrade. Even my kids like it and its a game I like them to play as it helps with their development. Definitely recommend this app..Version: 3.9

Short but gets you thinkingLove how it has a tracker and you can see what skills you have and other areas of improvement. Bonus is it’s free. The further you get and the more you use it it offers a pro version. I’m happy with the basic..Version: 5.2

Best app for kidsMy daughter and I have both been using MindPal and it’s incredible! It teaches my daughter to be able to put together words with the letters scrambled up, memorize the place of things, point out bad grammar, and the notification that comes up at (the time you choose) that you can turn on and off in “profile” helps remind her to do her brain workout of the day! You may not believe me, so let your child use MindPal for a week and you can check how well their doing in which category when you tap “status”. I will warn you though, when your child used MindPal for almost a week, you will need to pay a bit of money for your child to reach the end of their brain workout but no matter how much money they charge, I promise you it’s worth it!.Version: 4.8

Brain GamesNice game to play each day. Makes you think a bit and helps with coordination. Don’t have to pay to play if you don’t want to. Some levels remain free. The games switch up each day..Version: 5.4

Free to downloadIt’s free to download, further throughout the games it prompts you to upgrade to a paid subscription of (Pro) level, otherwise this is just a basic level to get your brain thinking.Version: 2.5

Just 1 problemIt has a thing called pro. For the first few days it’s all free but then it starts asking you to pay money to play certain games? Everyone is deleting it now. That’s all..Version: 5.1

A GOOD GAMEMy mother got me this game and it is the BEST EVER. It helps your brain to get stronger and smarter. My favourite games are all of them but the only thing is I wish that the 3rd and 4th games were unlocked because of two things: one is that I do not have Facebook because I am a child 👧🏽and two my mother does not let me get pro. Apart from that it is the best game ever BYE!!.Version: 3.9

Really good!Really fun and educational games that tell you where your at. Definitely see improvement. My only wish now is that I can have pro!.Version: 2.3

Good but has lots to improve. This is a fun game with lots of variety and weekly games that are free which change each week. They have a workout to complete each day with five different games chosen by your strengths and weaknesses in your stats recorded on other games (something I love about this game) however the third and fourth games become locked after a while (only available in the ‘pro’ version which you need too pay for) and they give you an offer to unlock the forth game each day which changes. For example write them a review or share with someone on messages. They also have ads after each game but what do you expect?! Mostly all games on the App Store have this for marketing purposes so I don’t mind but please if the developers are reading this review, I highly suggest you make the whole workout free so I can continue training my brain :). I find the ads not much of a problem because I understand you need them to keep your game running. Hope you take my opinion to consideration, Brain Trainer and MindPal fan 😊 x..Version: 3.9

No bad app…helpful. Most apps, games are designed to target the reward centers of the brain, keep users engaged and using the app. This app does the same however it provides positive benefits and actually improves brain function. Lets you look at your progress and see how you compare to others in your age group also utilizing the app. What isnt provided is the amount of users you are compared against so that limits the analysis. Memory, recall, language, basic calculations, that in this day and age rarely get regular practice and visual processing declines over time as we age…this app targets those areas and actually focuses attention and strengthens those connections. It is not waste of time to utilize this app and it is enjoyable to challenge brain function and work to strengthen weak areas. I was impressed to learn the developer is out of the Mid East and not the SF Bay area given that so many developers are local. Thank you for its development and i hope you add more games and expand upon the areas of the brain function, plasticity targeted..Version: 3.5

Here what you need to knowIt is so awesome you get new mind games everyday and you can try again when you think you did bad or you just like that exercise. You can also try after the five exercises you can play the games you just got over and over and over again and it is really fun and awesome and I just love the game you should totally get it right now 😀😀bye👋.Version: 3.1

😈I think that this is a really good app I’m a 10 year old and this app is like a homework thing for me to do and I really like it because since newzealand is in lockdown I can do this throughout it if I remember! I think the price for a month should drop down to $30 NZD because $70 NZD man that’s a lot!!🙈.Version: 2.3

Not bad 🤷‍♀️I really enjoy playing these games. I do feel they challenge me and help keep my brain sharp to some degree. HOWEVER…I’d really like to know how meaningful my scores are. I know it’s compared to all the other people playing, BUT (hypothetically of course), what if all the other players were lower level thinkers and I was better than all of them? In that case, it would record that I was (let’s say) 99% better than all the other players. It would appear to me that I was brilliant that I could achieve this level. YET, in reality I may only be performing at a fairly low level. Knowing how you compare to all other players is only helpful to a point. I would also appreciate knowing at what level I’m performing in general when not being compared to just the other users of this game..Version: 5.2

Would Recommend! This app is really fun. I love how it acts like a bunch of regular games when really it is testing your knowledge. I try to make an effort to play the daily “workout” along with my Duolingo Spanish lesson. MindPal makes it really easy to be consistent with learning, not only because it is user friendly, but also because it’s offline. You can play it on the go whenever you want! I wish the entire concept was free, but it’s not. You have to pay 3rd and 4th games, but I just stick to the other ones. It’s still really fun. I think it would be a perfect game for a toddler or kindergartner to keep them distracted without worrying about them wasting away at their young brains. Thanks, MindPal!.Version: 3.0

Great Brain GameThis is a great game for those who want a little brain activity during the day. The puzzles have a lot of work put into them and are really fun if you ask me. When you play for the first day or two, there are five levels to complete. After a couple days, then there are only three, and they ask for you to pay for the pro version for the other two. I don’t pay for them. I’m not going to recommend upgrading to the pro version, but it certainly wouldn’t be a big waste. Overall, this game is great for those who are in need of a little distraction..Version: 4.8

Pay for it...it’s worth itI have subscribed to several brain training apps over recent years and this one is clearly in the top 3. I note several negative reviews about the free version and I understand the frustration experienced by ads and having limited access. I suggest you pay for the pro version as this app is easy to use and genuinely improves brain function as well as being fun..Version: 2.8

Okay, here’s the whole run down. The first few daily workouts are great but then you can only complete 3 out of 5 of them by day 3 unless you upgrade to pro or share the game. Even if you share, it’ll only unlock the 4th. Aside from that, I keep playing because there’s plenty of brain workouts! You can repeat the same ways you got for the day or you can find the ones available for free if you don’t want to pay. There is honestly plenty to do! I’ll probably upgrade to pro at some point but I’m trying to see how long it stays playable at free. I’d still 10/10 recommend this to anyone. It’s part of my morning routine now..Version: 3.9
