✗ Buying plans ruins the gameWhy do I have to buy plans in a horribly designed scrolling list before I can build? Sometimes less is more. While the game is a lot smoother and has more content than the original, there’s far too much going on with constant tapping through menus and pop ups. The first game is simply better purely because of its simplicity. It’s a shame because the new game engine and stores and combos are great..Zapycat69Version: 1.13

✗ Can’t stand new lookI enjoy many Kairosoft games and loved the first Mega Mall, but I just can’t get into this one mainly due to the graphics. It’s not the classic Kairosoft graphics and interface. Instead of a cute, pixelated, 2D look, this one is very sleek and overbearing. It loses charm for me and I find it to be very obnoxious to simply play the game and navigate the menus. Part of Kairosoft’s appeal for me is familiarity mixed with fresh ideas and new mechanics, and if I didn’t know, I wouldn’t think this was a Kairosoft game. I don’t doubt the mechanics and upgrades from the first game are good, but I can’t get past the new graphics. I’ll be sticking with classic looking Kairosoft games!.Squidney17Version: 1.17
