✓ Reasonable Kairosoft EntryObviously very similar to the first Mega Mall. It’s hard to tell which combos are actually present in your mall. The sorting of the buy plans subdivided by the number you’ve bought is annoying in the late game when you just want to find something specific alphabetically. I wish it had a pause button for doing complex planning without running the clock. Overall, fun though..Version: 1.17

But then the games slowed down...and then we got trashy free to play games for years. This game is why I first fell in love with Kairosoft and want to see more of now. ✓ Love itI absolutely love this game. i got the first one a bit ago and was so excited to get the new one and i definitely don't regret it. i love the newer aspects of this one compared to the first. they both have their pros and cons and i think combining some of these aspects would make a great third one for the two. i would also love for the game to last longer than 15 in game years. if you're anything like me and play a lot then you would know it doesn't last long to get to the end. i would love to see more things added as well like new stores, customers, vips, and features!.Version: 1.17

✓ Great sequelI was a big fan of the first mega mall story, I played it three years ago and it was my gateway to kairosoft games. Changes from the first game include a new way of unlocking stores (buy them with hearts) as well as a new engine, some new shops and multi-level shops that add a bigger element of thought to planning out your mall. I am very glad that this is a paid release rather than F2P, since after playing this there’s no way I could go back to the first game..Version: 1.13

✓ Fun little puzzle management jammerGreat little time killer... there’s a couple layers to it that, until you grasp, the whole thing might seem kind of obtuse despite looking really cutesy and simple. Once you understand the deeper mechanics, the fun becomes seeing how much you can manipulate the stats to building your best mall. I gave 4 stars as I don’t see much replay value, and the challenge evaporated once I discerned the relationships between stores, floors, and customers. Good game, no regerts playing 🥳.Version: 1.14

✓ Decent sequel, but missing a bit of polishIt’s a good follow up to the first Mega Mall Story, but I think Kairosoft missed a few tricks here. - The translation to English is lacking in a few places (customer satisfactions(??), customer requests) - The UI on iPad could do with proper scaling. Trying to interact with shops on the top and bottom floors is hard because the UI gets in the way - Store combos: once the mall reaches a certain size, it becomes really difficult to tell which combos have already been built. Despite this, I still love this game to death and have to give it to Kairosoft for NOT adding in micro transactions/IAPs!.Version: 1.17
✓ Great Premium Kairosoft Game!This is a great Sequel To Mega Mall Story with a minor issue on a iPad the goals stay for ever on the screen, like build a general store stays forever on screen & doesn’t ever go away overlapping the menu icon. ✓ Pretty good, but unambitious sequelBeing myself a big fan of Kairosoft games and had played the first game ad nauseam a few years ago I was excited when I saw that the sequel was out. The game keeps the same formula of the previous one which is good. It's a very entertaining and addictive game to play. The mechanics are simple, accessible...The graphics are super adorable Kairosoft style pixel art. And the overall mood is light-hearted and uplifting. Very few people will be disappointed with the purchase and it's a very easy recommendation for casual gamers. The only problem with this sequel was the lack of ambition by the developer into trying totally new mechanics, or at least incorporating newer elements for the benefit of new and old players. It's not really a sequel, but it's more like a revamp and upgrade of the first. The novelties of this game compared with the first don't justify the number 2 in the title. However, new players will have lots of fun with this one, which is a pretty good game per se. Old time players (like me) might want to check this one out too, just don't expect to be overjoyed with surprise! Highly recommended for new starters in the series!.Version: 1.11
