✓ Great purchaseI love organizing and labeling everything. This was an upgrade from my last P touch brother label maker. I had 2 before this and they both lasted me many many years. This as my third purchase is a great one because it does so much more than any of the previous ones I have had. I dont NEED these extra options but having them at my finger tips are really fun. ✓ Wish it would be more tablet iPad friendlyI use this with a tablet with keyboard and wish it would use landscape the whole time. Not just when you get to the edit mode. At least it now uses my keyboard..Version: 1.3.0
✓ Label makingMy P-touch label maker is great, but the updated app just blew my mind! I updated to the new app, was immediately able to link and make some new labels, and saw the applications for making labels for my digital cords, memory sticks, etc. Nothing lately has been this smooth & effortless. ✓ Does what I need it to do, but...C’mon, y’all. By version 2, you’d think the app would be iPad-aware and rotate with the orientation of the device (thus allowing me to use an attached keyboard). ✓ Good but..I find it quite easy to use but I have a wish list of things I would like added. 1. Ability to print in landscape would be of great benefit. 2. Add barcodes and QR codes direct to the App instead of having to create it somewhere else and import it as a picture. 3. Progressive number tags would be helpful 4. ✓ Awesome!I luv the way the app and labeler work together. I don’t usually have any luck with label apps but this is wonderful. I selected the file tab template for teeny labels and the app resizes your text to fit the template making it easy to try different abbreviations and keep the type large enough to see. Would be nice to be able to prepare the next label while the current one is printing, being blocked until this one has finished printing makes it very slow. The biggest problem I have is that it can take a little while to connect to the label maker. A feature that would be excellent to have is the ability to use Apple’s SF symbols font which would give thousands of additional high quality symbols which are already build into iOS..Version: 1.3.6
✓ Quite good but not quite perfectThe main drawback is the lack of an iPad app. Apart from that, it’s a little awkward — the templates links don’t seem to work, you can’t file saved labels in folders, I have to re-connect every time I use the app rather than it auto-finding like headphones do. ✓ 4 of 5, a couple little nigglesThe app works well enough, but a couple things keep it from getting a 5. First, it’s actually jarring in 2021 that the app isn’t wysiwyg when adding text. ✓ No liPad Landscape supportThe label maker works fine, although it does waste an inch of tape each time you print a label. That seems like a design flaw they should have fixed a long time ago.
