✓ Handy appThis app is pretty great for making labels. You can make the text bold or italic but you can’t underline any text which doesn’t make sense..Version: 1.3.2
✓ In general works wellEasy to use and fast. Not great on iPad. It can’t decide if it should be in portrait or landscape on screen. It does waste a lot of tape. One inch with every print. Can’t imagine why??.Version: 1.3.0
✓ Developer Locks You OutThe app P-Touch Design & Print suddenly wanted you to upgrade to a newer version 2 ...DO NOT DO SO! Once it has converted all your existing labels, it deletes the original version of the app then, on a subsequent use, it insists you agree to a complex multi screen user agreement. If you do not want to agree, it refuses to open the app thereby making it impossible to use the rather pricey label maker you have bought any more! Only by going back to an older iPhone (if you still have it) can you use the label maker again. Infuriating and of dubious ethical propriety if not actually in violation of consumer law in many jurisdictions!.Version: 2.1.0
✓ Bug with iOS 15.7This application no longer works with iOS 15.7. You enter some text and when you click done, the application blows up and shuts down. It is now impossible to print anything..Version: 1.3.3

✓ Very lazily doneWas really looking forward to my Brother PtouchCube.. Bluetooth and all Few things about this app - -max size for label printing is confusing and inconsistent. There is clearly plenty of space but it loves to limit to smaller sizes, sometimes I find a way to get around this. -App has no private access to photos enabled. Apple has supported this feature for a long long time, really helps to keep up -Thirdly, this is the most annoying feature by far is the fact that you have to manually pair the PtouchCube for EVERY use on the app.. the app of course always takes about 10 seconds to search and connect.. but why Brother? It could just as easily do it in the background so I can spend more time making labels, this is very simple technology. Nothing to auto connect to the same printer I connect to every day? Always bugs me because it’s hugely inconvenient, especially as the cube disconnects from Bluetooth if you leave the app in between printing, e.g for pictures or research. Really adds up over time I’ll probably keep mine but I do dread using this app. I shouldn’t need to buy a WiFi printer for this, auto-connect through Bluetooth has been the norm for like 5 years. I’ve fully changed batteries etc so I know it’s not a fault, it’s just another company being lazy and non-proactive for the sake of it Don’t even get me started on the ridiculous tape costs, and the amount the printer will waste (even if ‘cut last label’ is off etc).. likely not a coincidence.Version: 2.0.0

Text boxes appear to only allow one font type/size per text box. Label options seem to be much more limited compared to the Mac. ✓ Love Bluetooth not tape waistI love the Bluetooth ability and the charger. I love that I don’t have to use 6 batteries. I would like it if you had a list, such as 40 spice, to print you could pull from the list and have them cut between each name without having a 1in waist of tape each time. So, that means when I need to print out 40 spices I’m waisting 40 inches of tape (over 3 ft)..Version: 1.3.0
✓ Frozen upThis is terrible. I was using this app and in the middle of a large project then the app survey pops up and asks me to rate the app. The keypad was up so I couldn’t even click on a star because my keys were over top of them. I was completely frozen out. Not sure how to get out of it without uninstalling and reinstalling but that would not fix it for next time..Version: 2.0.2
✓ PT-P710BTAbsolute gimmick. The labels are all the same thing, just a different colour/ size tape. I would have thought it’s possible to label a fuse board, server cabinet or similar. There is no option for that. Although it does have ‘fuse box’ in the options, it’s only good for a single label with a downward arrow. It’s definitely a gimmick that has emojis etc, so if that’s what you want then probably pretty cool.Version: 1.3.8
✓ MARGINS NEED WORKThe margins for labels are absolutely ridiculous! If the title is centered, there is way too much wasted tape on both sides of the title. If it’s positioned on one of the sides, there is still too much tape on the other. I read that the options should save tape, but that’s not really true. There is still too much waste. If I want a specific length, the app should be able to determine the size and print the label to fit that chosen size..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Not happy!All my files were lost on this forced upgrade to this app. Stop this and give users the choice. I spent hours formatting labels in different files and now there all wiped out! Is an upgrade worth loosing customers that have been using your printers without issues !.Version: 1.3.3

✓ Decent, but tediousThere are a lot of design options, but the basic user interface has been overlooked. Options like “cut last label” that should be a simple check box on the main print screen, take three clicks to get to. ✓ Lasted update restricts user choicesThe latest up date when using frames automatically shrinks text and doesn’t let you increase it. ✓ Great idea - but immature AppThis should be simple, but they have totally overcomplicated the App. All I want to do, is use my phone as a keyboard, adjust font size and margin. Instead this app forces me to select one of hundreds of template. None of them is called “just a simple label for a switch”. Also found I can’t use my bluetooth keyboard with it. Text field disappears when the keyboard connects. Why??? They must have worked really hard to prevent an external keyboard from working. Very frustrating app, even in version 2..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Terrible improvement from the previous app.I just downloaded this because I was worried that my old version of the app would expire in a few days. This new version does not hold the automatic tape length and has cropped my label even though it showed me it would be printing the whole thing. There seems to be no way to set the tape length on automatic. It seems to always revert to a set length of label. I tried and cannot find a way to change that. And then it also defaults to a smaller font size every single time even though it shows that it can print the larger font size. Super frustrating, not ready for prime time. Fail..Version: 1.3.2
