✓ Fun, but big strain on battery and too many adsWe ran out of physical puzzles and this app came to the rescue! Fun for the whole family given the piece count and rotate options and the find edges feature. Unfortunately it has been a huge drain on the battery for both our iPhones and iPads. Battery percentage drops steadily while playing and the devices run hot. Devices that would easily last most of the day now have to be plugged in the play the app. Not sure if it is the music, the ads, or something else, but it is unlike any other apps/games we play. The cost to remove ads is too high. I would be willing to pay for the app, if only to remove the way-too-many ads, but definitely not a subscription. Between the battery issues and subscription cost it is not worth it. Overall the free version is good enough for some family fun..Version: 1.3.7

✓ Update October 18, 2020 GlitchyThis was my favorite jigsaw game until I just put in the latest update. Now the pieces are very finicky about snapping into place, and prices overlap and get dragged around together. These won’t separate to see or utilize. ✓ Frustrated with the updatesI love this game and have played for a long time. But the new updates are not working... the puzzle pieces stick together and I can’t separate them. ✓ Great puzzles, but issues with saving progressI’d love to give this app five stars, as the puzzle images are truly beautiful, and the mechanics for organizing the puzzle pieces are helpful. Even the ads are unintrusive (which I see often because I refuse to pay a subscription fee for puzzles—it’d be nice to have a one time payment option). However, I have to point out the HORRIBLE issues this app has with saving puzzle progress that have emerged with recent updates. Too many times, I’ve made EXTENSIVE progress on a puzzle, switched to another app to do something or locked my phone, and when I go back to the app, all my progress is GONE. It’s incredibly difficult to enjoy the puzzles knowing that at any point, you’ll have to redo all your hard work..Version: 2.1.2

✓ The update ruined itI’ve absolutely been loving this app lately but after the update today it doesn’t function at all; the puzzle I was already doing provides me with the wrong pieces for that screen (I was enjoying the 400 piece puzzle) and when you click the pieces they just fly away. ✓ Recent updateEver since the recent update it seems the puzzles have a glitch. Pieces never go to their spot. Before if I would put it relatively close to the spot it would just go. Takes more work and acts as if the piece doesn’t go in the spot it’s supposed to. Also if I’m done with a section of the puzzle, most of the time it will not move on to it the next section. So now I have to find what pieces aren’t clicked in all the way to log on. Doesn’t always work and someone’s have to exit out the app. Lastly, if I chose to review the puzzle while working on a section it shows me the whole puzzle now. Before it would show the section you were working on which was super helpful for 400 pieces. It’s honestly annoying for an app I enjoy and use everyday. Would be getting 5 starts if it wasn’t for these inconveniences..Version: 2.1.0
✓ Fun, but progress not rememberedI love me a good virtual puzzle, but the problem I have with this one is that when I progress through a puzzle, sometimes it doesn’t remember it. So when I come back after much effort the day before, it had not been memorized. Very annoying..Version: 1.4.0
✓ Started off okay, then...This app is super frustrating. While working on a puzzle quadrant, it won’t move to next quadrant until I use a hint. I stopped using quadrant feature for this reason and now I have about 20 puzzles that show status as 99% complete but are actually 100% complete. For some reason, puzzle thinks I have missing pieces into 1-2 quadrants, but if you click on those tabs, no pieces show up and puzzle is complete..Version: 2.1.6
✓ Sorry but I don't like the updatesCool that you're trying to make your app better and all but I don't care for the updates at all. I can work around most of them except for the fact that sometimes the border pieces will absolutely not snap together until almost all of the puzzle is done. And longer ads? Nope. ✓ Pieces hard to place in new changesI’ve loved this game for a while and most of the upgrades have enhanced the play. This latest change though with zoom function on the puzzle rather than four quarters makes placing the pieces really difficult. I’ve got the on the right places but they won’t lock unless at the right zoom level. This is difficult on a small screen. Also at random times the pieces move on top of each other and stick. This makes it hard to play. Definitely some issues in the latest update. Another poster mentioned the quarters not shifting right. I found this on occasion but I’d just delete and start again. ✓ JigsawPuzzle HD gameI used to like playing it. Ever since the last update in December 2021 they made it hard for me to complete the daily puzzle. I was used to 9 pieces and when it comes to do the daily puzzles they are 64 pieces and I find it hard to solve. I was told that they were going to take into consideration about me having a hard time with puzzles that they were going to go back to 9 pieces, they didn’t release a new update..Version: 2.1.9
✓ Not challenging enoughI was a bit disappointed that the 400 piece puzzle was actually 4 x 100 piece puzzles. Still a good selection of free puzzles, plenty to do without having to buy packs. ✓ Good puzzles, not so good ad interfaceGood - Lots of free puzzle variety and categorized well to choose what you’re interested in, including “mystery” options. Different piece count options allow you to spend whatever time you like completing the puzzle. New puzzles are added frequently. Not so good - the ad interface forces you to watch 5 second ads before starting the puzzle and as soon as you complete it. Once you complete the puzzle and watch the ad, the app sends you back to the start of category, it does not take you back the next puzzle. Also, unfortunately, the ads often freeze, requiring you to reboot the app...particularly the Facebook ads. If the ad doesn’t freeze, it often takes just as long to click out of it and choose a new puzzle...meaning, a 5 second ad turns into a 10-15 second ad..Version: 1.3.3

However, at some point the puzzle gets stuck and doesn’t move to the next part, therefore can’t complete it. So frustrating! ✓ Crashing issuesI normally love this app, but every so often it will crash every time I use it for a few days. ✓ I hate the update. Too small piecesLoved this app. Doing the 256 piece puzzles it would partition it into four sections. Thats gone now. ✓ It’s ok...butI enjoy piecing together the entire puzzle in front of me, and I would rather have all the puzzle pieces scattered so I can organize them. I get that many would rather have pieces on a slide, but it’s not my preference. I’m looking for a jigsaw puzzle that allows the player to work the entire puzzle, even though the pieces are tiny. ✓ App usually 5 star. Latest update is terribleI love this app so much. It’s a great way to spend time when I’m waiting in lines or have a few minutes to kill. The last update however, has made the game unplayable. Rather I should say ‘unwinnable’ I always do my puzzles edge first then fill them in. However my pieces won’t snap together. I fought with most of them and got them in place but the last two pieces will not connect to each other, nor will they connect to the rest of the pieces. ✓ Why only little white kids?I actually love HOW the app works and most of the puzzles except for when I got to the ‘cute’ section. Most of the photos in this section are of blue eyed white kids. There is not a single non-white child represented. I’m white (not that it should matter at all) but I’m appalled. Think about what you are saying. The second I select “Tap To Start” to get into the app, I’m immediately ported to an ad for other apps and the only way to get out of the ads is to close the app. That’s a shame because the photos are very appealing, and the difficulty is totally in control of the player. But I’m not going to constantly view ads just to put a jigsaw puzzle together. And I’m in no position financially to purchase a premium version of the app, which may or may not solve this problem. ✓ Pros and consLots of beautiful puzzles for free and the option to rotate pieces or have them all set right side up for you is helpful for different age levels or moods, but I wish you could work the whole puzzle at once instead of a quarter of the puzzle at a time. Also, this app has some sort of glitch where it dims the screen randomly which makes it really hard to see the details you need to put the puzzle together. It gets pretty annoying..Version: 1.3.6
✓ Issues with your app!This was one of my favorites apps until two days ago...the app keeps malfunctioning. I’ve erased an downloaded it again a couple of times to try and fix the problem. I also shut my phone down and checked for updates which are all completed. The app will let me choose a puzzle then when I go into begin the puzzle it only gives me four pieces, or the pieces at the bottom of the screen are all jumbled up.
