✓ Glitchy beyond beliefThe mobile app is essentially useless and can’t show laters of information or search for streets. The website on desktop is marginally better. Incredible to have something so important perform so poorly..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Only shows wildfire incidents on app startupI can open the app and see all the incidents and colour-coded place markers for them only once in a given day. When I zoom in too much the placemarkers all disappear and all that’s left are perimeter polygons for evac zones on larger project fires. I went into the layers and tried to add current fires (new, under control, out of control, etc) but those layers can’t be selected in the list, they’re crossed out. App still has some significant glitches that impede functionality, but I appreciate all the work that’s gone into developing this. Just wanted to offer feedback..Version: 1.7.0

And the info on the app gives nothing g compared to the old website such as how many fighters are dealing with the fire, helicopters…machines to build firewalls…And like others say, continued requests to update when the app is updated. ✓ Unreliable.This is the second time this fire season I’ve gone to this app for information and it hasn’t been updated - And not just every couple seconds😁 it’s been for days and Weeks. PEOPLE NEED THIS INFORMATION!! If you’re going to have an app for fires, how many hectares, locations, etc… UPDATE IT. Otherwise take it off the App Store so people don’t confuse useless information and constantly waiting for an update, with information they can get right away and accurate. ✓ Fire titlesThe problem I have with these fire apps is knowing which fire to look up. They don’t name them by area. When we had a fire in our area, I had no idea which fire I was looking up. ✓ Broken featuresGood wildfire information, as long as it loads. Certain features, such as evacuation regions, don’t always load, even when re-enabled or after an app relaunch. Fires shown as “declared out” don’t give you details on discovery date, cause, etc.; only the name of the fire itself. It also seems like the app is trying to download more data than necessary, as simple information that shouldn’t be a kilobyte for one wildfire shouldn’t take over a second to load….Version: 1.7.1
✓ NotificationsThe latest version (1.5.1) doesn’t respect its in-app notification settings. It literally started spamming me with all news and alerts almost every minute. I turned off the in-app notification settings and the app still keeps spamming me with news and notifications. The only way to stop this madness is to turn off the notifications for the app in the system settings..Version: 1.5.1

✓ Exactly what I expect from BC Fire ServicesSuper glitchy, bad user interface, maps are awkward and mislabeled, also it’s missing information for updates. Add a little more dysfunction and corruption and this app will resemble exactly what’s become of BC Fire Services. You’ll get better information off of Twitter or Facebook..Version: 1.6.0
