✓ Poor ExperienceHello, I wasn’t sure who to submit this complaint to. I just started using this app this week and was directly messaged being told I was excluded from joining one of the “homes” because of my age. It’s one of the main homes on the page that is highlighted. And nowhere does it say only certain age groups can join and it doesn’t sit right with me to have a platform on the app that says they are about uniting voices and I’m being brushed off and told to follow them on Instagram even though I cannot join their group. Super ageist. Happy to be a millennial. Please feel free to respond and I would be happy to continue this conversation over email..Version: 1.36.0
✓ Daily ProblemsThis app’s interface is fair to say the least. Too many options per chat and it gets messy. Besides that, the ability to send photos never seems to work, as well as basic messages. I 70% of the time get a “Message failed to send”. If this app could perform the way its intended to perform, it’d be a 5 star!.Version: 1.9.6

✓ Discord Rip-offThis app literally copied the discord ui, and many of its features, not even trying to hide it. This app’s response to that previously was that discord is made for gaming, and this app is made for communities, while if you go to discord’s app store page, it clearly has a huge image of something along the lines of “made for communities, and friends.” If you want an app that has these features, just use discord instead, its a cleaned up and perfected version of geneva..Version: 1.34.0

✓ App has great features, but can be a little glitchyThe app is awesome and has a lot of great features for chats/rooms. The only downside so far is loading chats can be glitchy and sometimes don’t update with the notifications. You will scroll to find the most recent chat history but it wont exist unless you exit and come back..Version: 1.39.0
✓ Still in BetaI think this app is still in beta, because it has a lot of bugs and still needs a lot of work to be a viable community option. However, I’ll be watching this app closely because the calendar + audio and video events feature is SO COOL and I want to use it really badly. I also really love the idea of being able to choose between post rooms or chat rooms. Honestly a genius idea. - Sill needs formatting like markup for posts and chat (bold, italics, paragraphs, headers etc). They have gifs but they automatically link to the end of a post or chat. So no inline gifs. When you post links you can’t even name them so they looks nice. - Needs to get rid of “post deleted” or “events deleted”—I hate when forums do this. I don’t want my forum to tell people something has been deleted. It’s been deleted for a reason. - I’m an admin but sometimes I can’t sticky or delete my own posts—I suspect because some posts I write on web and some in app. Clunky inability to switch between web and app versions. So the admin and moderator functionality really is not there. Just for this I’ve thought about deleting it. - No ability to pick my brand colors. No CSS options. No HTML option in posts or welcome message. - No add-ons as of yet. So no gamification, no auto-mod, no SSO option. - No webhooks 😢 - No drafts and no ability to set a time when your post will become live. No auto-repeatable posts. - Doesn’t have the ability to shift around rooms! Your rooms just populate in whatever order they want. Super frustrating. I know a ton of people who want to move away from Facebook groups because of many reasons, and have tried Geneva and just couldn’t get the app to function correctly. So once this app is out of beta I bet a lot of people will flock to it. But for now it’s not useable..Version: 1.13.0
