✓ Questioning legitimacy of app - hawaiianGreat app, but I’ve noticed some errors that make me question the legitimacy of the language sources, especially for hawaiian. Using this app to increase my knowledge of hawaiian, a language I am pretty familiar with already. Most of the time the vocabulary is correct, but once in a while I hear/read something that makes me go “umm what?” Especially the numbers sections. 1 - ‘ekahi, was put as “mua” which means more of a “forward, ahead” or a “first thing” not a number. Anyway, numbers all wrong. Hapa+number would be a fraction, not a while number. Hapaono is 1/6th, not 6. Hapalua is 1/2, not 2. Here I’ll help: 1 - ‘ekahi 2 - ‘elua 3 - ‘ekolu 4 - ‘ehā 5 - ‘elima 6 - ‘eono 7 - ‘ehiku 8 - ‘ewalu 9 - ‘eiwa 10 - ‘umi If you need more help, I can count higher. Anyway please please fix this. I want to trust this app. Great way to learn new vocab. But some things are worrying. If need, use wehewehewikiwiki - it’s a hawaiian dictionary - not as good as actual people who know the language, but the website can help with correct words..Version: 2.39
✓ Definitely recommend!!I love the icons along with the theme, it very easy to learn and use the app in general. I’m learning Turkish at the moment and it made it way easier. I used to use Duolingo but it didn’t work the best for me since it was more of a challenge than learning for many reasons. I recommend this app a lot for learning a new language!.Version: 2.39
✓ Child vs Adult appI see no difference between the adult and child app. I’m really frustrated that it’s memorizing heavily relies on spelling too. Teenagers can spell like adults, but children are still trying to master writing in their own language. My son took one look at it and said “no,” after seeing “petit déjeuner” in French and then them asking him to spell/arrange all the letters. Writing is even more of a hindrance than benefit to learning languages since it’s so intimidating (for me, but especially also for my kids). I’m also frustrated that I can’t log into my Apple account on this app since I’m a premium member in the adult Drops app and this is supposed to be included. It just keeps transferring me to the web, logs me in, transfers me back to the app, and I’m not logged in in the app, and it sends me in circles. Frustrating. I can’t recommend droplets, I’m sorry..Version: 2.39
✓ Awful 😞It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be.Version: 2.39
✓ Keeps closing, no way to get app supportFor the last couple weeks I was trying to review learned words in the “dojo” and the app just closes. I had hoped it would get fixed or stop bugging out. No such luck, so I tried finding a option to contact them or ask for help, nothing in the app, the link to app support here links to a website for a different app, which refers you to the help section in the app which this app does not have. So no way to review words learned until the dojo portion decides it wants to work again. As far as how the materials are. It’s pretty good. Would be amazing if I could use all of the app I paid for....Version: 2.32
✓ Droplets won’t let Apple ID log inHi Droplets, Huge fan of the drop app but when I downloaded the droplets app to try to setup profiles for my kids, it won’t let me log in with my Apple ID. Help please!.Version: 2.39
✓ Droplets reportIt was ok but i didn’t like how much pressure I was under to get in done and 5 minutes isn’t enough for me to thrive in the language. There is also limited vocabulary and your progress deletes without premium. I loved the activities and the simple strategies to get words permanently cemented in your head though and the overall set out was understandable and appropriate..Version: 2.39
✓ Pretty goodIt is very fast and confused me quite a bit but I did learn some words.Version: 2.39
✓ A bit too fastThe focus on one word was too short and hard to learn from.Version: 2.39
