DJI Fly for Positive User Reviews

2 things to fix1. When I format a card. Stop changing the name to untitled. Have the OS read the name. Format. Then put the same name back on it afterwards. 2. I have a lens good attached. It thinks it’s a wide angle lens. Prevents it from doing a 360 pic. The camera can move all angles freely. Make that wide angle lens warning something I can turn off..Version: 1.12.8

Great app. Not THAT bad!First of all, I don’t why there are so many bad reviews on this app. This is a great app compared to some of the other off-brand ones I have used. Second, this app has saved my Mini SE hundreds of times. It shows battery life (other apps won’t even do that), it shows my distance, and height. It has a map that shows where my drone is. It shows GPS status, aircraft status, and so much more that makes flying so much easier. Obviously, a lot goes into flying a drone, and it will drain your phone battery. If you have an older phone, of course it will overheat. This is a very powerful app that requires lots of energy. I don’t blame DJI for this. If you are super worried about this, get a controller with a built-in screen! That’s why DJI makes some drones that way. I truly believe DJI is trying to make things a lot easier, and they have helped me several times. Bottom line, ignore the other negative reviews, DJI has updated this app quite a bit, knocking out the other little bugs. I do believe you won’t have much of problem using this app. Also, if you have limited camera controls, that is probably because your drone probably doesn’t support it. My Mini SE doesn’t support aperture, D-Log, or panorama like some of the other professional ones. Don’t blame the app for this, you simply have a simpler drone. That’s all..Version: 1.9.1

Great for beginnersThe DJI fly app is vastly superior to any other drone app that I have ever used. The drone connects quickly, as well as finding GPS almost instantly. The camera modes are easy to use as well as having a demonstration video with each mode. The only thing that did not work as intended was the return to home feature. When taking off from near my house, flying around, then returning to home the drone would try to land on the roof of the house, which could cause problems. However the return to home feature worked at the soccer field behind our school with no issues. A great app for a great drone. DJI Mini Se.Version: 1.6.12

Easy to use but many features missing, please update this app!I love DJI products. Hands downs the best for your money you’ll get. Especially with the Mavic air 2. Love the drone, have no problems with it, and I love the app, very easy to navigate but there’s a ton of features missing that would make things so much easier to use. The gimbal speed and smoothness needs to be updated. It’s pretty hard to get a smooth shot when rotating that wheel and there’s no way to change that. Add a few more shortcuts on the front screen and make use of the FN button as a triple click for all 3 options! Also the sounds on the remote are very loud and obnoxious at times, if there’s a way to lower the volume for that, it would help a ton. Adding 4K to every option would be amazing too! Lastly I would highly suggest using more of the features from the previous app integrated onto this new app! DJI, if you’re reading this, I love you and love your products but please adjust your app to make flying a much pleasant one. I, and a few others will re-rate your app to 5 stars if these fixes are done! Anyways happy flying everyone! :).Version: 1.1.3

1st time drone ownerSo I have the Magic air 2. 1st drone and have spent 3 months flying and swimming it. Yes, I have dunked it in a pond in the first week. Pilot error. Followed online suggestions to douse it in alcohol it disperse the water. Everything is fine and performs as it should. I only use the battery that was in it at the time as a backup. I am guessing the manufacturer is expecting the product to eventually get wet and made safeguards in the product to make sure it can withstand 1 dunk. Needless to say I am hesitant to fly over big lakes where I couldn’t retrieve the drone. Great photos and flight experiences for me. Thanks DJI..Version: 1.1.8

Great AppA good app from DJI for the Mavic Mini / Mavic Air drones, I’m running it on my iPad 5th gen and have not been having any issues with this app, all seems to be working greatly and as expected. Only thing I would say we need but that’s only going to be done with a firmware update is give us MM owners the ability of RAW support for us who own the original Mavic Mini, it won’t detract from the sales of the higher tier drones, it would just be a dry handy feature for us photographers..Version: 1.2.5

Mavic Air 2Thank You so much DJI for creating such an awesome product as this Mavic Air 2. I purchased it over a month ago and it is loaded with so many features that seem to be flawless!! I am the owner of a Licensed Home Inspection company and this product is a valuable worthwhile tool. The photos and video are absolutely perfect for this business. I can zoom in on details as if I’m standing there touching the roof and flashings. I highly recommend this easy to use Mavic Air to beginners as well as professionals. I started using it within minutes out of the box and downloading the DJI fly app and following the instructions in the app. Thank You. And I also love how it holds up in the wind..Version: 1.2.5

Great Updates! Many of the reviews are years out of date, which is unfortunate because DJI has regularly been sharing a great updates. As of this review, which is v1.10.1, it includes impressive improvements to panoramic stitching, saving, and sharing. Might be issues with signal strength but it’s challenging to compare before/after experiences (suggest someone measure before upgrading to confirm)..Version: 1.10.1

Great App/ Emergency StopSince getting my DJI Mavic Air 2, I’ve been very happy with it as well as the app. Everything is easy to get to, find, and change according to your conditions as well as preference. My main reason for writing this review however, is to see if it is possible for the developers to add a Emergency Stop button near the Take Off button inside the DJI app. I say this to say that, a week ago I had an incident with my drone in which it crashed. The problem I had was, in the crash it ended up on its back with the blades still going.. causing more damage to the drone itself, as well as the propellers. I wasn’t able to grab it with my hands, and was in to much of a panic looking through the app to figure out how to QUICKLY stop it. Thus, the thought came to mention, and hope that DJI would here me out in developing an app update and drone software update to support this, as I know I am not the only one that has had this problem. Or, if that situation occurs, being able to stop it before further damage can be done..Version: 1.2.1

Absolutely Love DJI but….Just wanted first and foremost express my deepest appreciation for some of the most excitement I’ve ever had flying a drone and can’t wait to see how things develop in the coming years. I absolutely love DJI! I currently use my DJI FPV more than my others but your latest update had a bit of a hiccup with the imperial units missing. Not a huge deal but thought I’d mention it in case it hadn’t been noticed yet. Anyway, thanks for all that you do and keep them coming!!!.Version: 1.4.4

Good app, missing some featuresNicely responsive app. Does what it needs to do well: allow you to fly the drone and take pictures. It is your interface with the drone and controller, allowing you to customise settings. It pairs with my dji mini 2 with no problems. You can also download videos from the drone straight into your phone, both low res (can do automatically) and hi res. Too bad that the videos, as displayed on the phone come with no location attached, and no camera info… this should be an easy fix. Also, you can throughly customise the controls, including joystick mapping and response curves. It would be great if it also allowed to invert the control for the vertical orientation of the camera..Version: 1.6.9

Dji flyI just got a Dji mini se and it flys great with this app.Version: 1.11.0

Mini mavic 👏👏👏👏Wow!!! This app is awesome 👏....works flawlessly ,super fast at finding GPS ,extremely sooooo easy to control ,so easy to edit footage on either iPhone or iPad .The cinematic tools work great 👍 super stable ,truly awesome footage can so easily be made ,we just can’t get over how well this little drone preforms, battery’s last for like for ever !!! .we are super happy I’ve also a DJI phantom 3 standard and again awesome bit of kit ,but !!! Got to admit ,this mini mavic and this app is another level ,it’s so easy and safe too use, myself and “all” my friends that have witnessed this drone give this bad boy 100% Thanks everyone at DJI I’m so happy ,I’ve owned it now for 3 months and done so much with it ,it’s so quick to be able to get it flying to get the perfect shot 👍 Now in lockdown,it’s our best friend 👏 it’s given us so much too do ,love it to bits best 45th birthday present ever 😁.Version: 1.0.8

Allow Upwards gimble rotation gone from menu for Air 2SThe allow upwards gimbal rotation has disappeared from the menu.Version: 1.8.0

EasyGreat app well designed easy to use.Version: 1.6.2

Great AppThe DJI FLY APP is definitely a great application especially with map control and function button I would like some great addition of updates as it does everything you need and have in your hands 🙌 but I would like 👍 more GPS update when available thanks From Gary.Version: 1.6.5

Bring app album backThis is a great little app, in addition to flight controls it has a surprisingly robust & versatile media editor, capable of creating stunning videos in no time & with zero effort. I do have my wishlist of small feature enhancements (e.g., allow editing text in templates), but overall I’m a great fan. Today, however, my enthusiasm for the app is overshadowed by the sorrow of the app album removed in the latest revision. It used to be a great way to not pollute my iCloud-synced library with raw footage, and is now forcing me to change my established processes. Please, bring it back! I will add the 5th star when you do….Version: 1.6.12

Any review on Mini2?Is this update support hyper lapse for Mini2? What other new features will support Mini2?.Version: 1.2.2

App offloads to cloud . Then can’t download abroadOkay, this is majorly annoying. Even though this is really about iOS the problem is the app can offload itself without you being able to change it. Then you don’t use your drone for a number of months. Go abroad expecting to use your drone, hey presto, you get your drone out and there is no app to fly it. You try and download it in the foreign country and you either get not available in that country or the download just doesn’t happen it hangs. Making your drone useless for photography or videography. You can only use it as a toy to fly 20 feet away. Brilliant. This isn’t a slant at Dji since it’s outside their control votes, it’s annoying part and lack of foresight from iOS. Advice to everyone else make sure you download your new version before you go abroad else, you’ll end up with a brick with wings..Version: 1.11.4

Mini 2Got mini 2 then you’ll be happy with this app.. BUT remember that after a flight recorded in 4K you’ll need to save/download the recorded video directly straight from the drones album manually for it to be saved to your mobile phone In 4K or you will only get it saved automatically in a lower format if you don’t...Version: 1.5.4

The best company !!!They produced the best drone in the market in XXI !!! and with this the best customer service !!! Easy and comfortable !!! I sold my Mini 2 and got refund of my care plan in hours when I asked for it, without any deductions!!! Definitely I will buy my next drone from them !!! Thank You DJI be here for my next fly !!!!!!!!.Version: 1.5.9

Great app…… could improve belowIn PRO camera mode add + & - tap button to shutter/exposure slider for more accuracy ! Add power curve adjustments for controller sticks ( like DJI GO app ).Version: 1.4.3

Great app, love it!I have to mavic mini and this app is great I can fly up to 3 miles out sometimes. And this app is good because it has more picture room with the dji go 4 app, it’s still good but but on the top it says gps mode on the top. This app also has good range I’ve lost connection I few times but that normal. So I am so glad I got the the mavic mini with this app it’s convenient it loads fast so you can get out to flying fast! This is a great app, recommended it. Thank you Dji for having such a good fly app!.Version: 1.4.4

DGI Mini2This is correct app Mini2. Massive update completed and up in the air. Crystal clear picture, the coast line 10 km away still very clear. Wind today 20 knots, not problem..Version: 1.7.4

Fun gameFun game.Version: 1.11.0

Great appGreat app works great next update would be good if the fpv mode had another option so it could go split screen for goggles.Version: 1.3.0

Great app but lacks features it needsDJI has built the mavic mini as a solid drone especially for its 249 gram weight. It is incredibly stable in wind. For the price it is lacking features that it is certainly capable of like active tracking or digital zoom. I understand this model is entry level but it should be able to do anything the hardware allows. The mavic mini might get a patch for this but should have had this included on day one. The app is also great for the user and is easy to use, but could be better optimized for the flagship phones. Video uploading could also be made faster. Overall it is a good bang for your buck and we’re looking forward to the above improvements from DJI..Version: 1.0.6

Good app, but few glitches.I have started using the DJI Mavic Air 2 and this app works fairly well however, there are a few annoying little bugs or glitches. For example, if I shoot panoramas by default I would like to save the original RAW files to the SD card however, after each fly the app defaults to turning this off, so if I forget then I lose the RAW files from future flights. You should not need to go into panorama mode and turn this on each time, it should be able to be turned on once, then left on if the user wants that, and if the don't want it they can turn it off. Please fix this!!!!!!!.Version: 1.2.5

Time logging not accurateSo far I have completed 4 flights with a total of 34 minutes. The total flight log is only indicating 30 minutes. Is this a setup issue or a software issue?.Version: 1.8.0

Mini 4 Pro is amazingGet the proper kit guys and stop using your mobile phone, people are moaning buying 1.4 Audi and complaining it's not as good as the RS3 🤣 HOWEVER it does take 2 attempts to connect my phone wirelessly to the drone to get the media (15 pro max so not out of date).Version: 1.12.4

Getting betterUpdate: The May 2022 update and firmware seems to have fixed the problem from my original review. There is still a strange glitch when adjusting the gimbal settings in the app. The switch on the RC needs to be changed to another speed and then back before the settings get linked to the drone. Other than that, all seems good to go. Original: The Air 2S still can’t do manual ISO settings for video. What good is a fully manual mode to prevent the video image from automatically changing exposure when you can’t even set the ISO manually? Fix this. For the price I paid for this drone this issue should have been dealt with a long time ago..Version: 1.6.5

Mavic Air 2 & Mavic MiniToo many complaints about the app. Just like when the DJI go app came out, people complained and didn’t like it. Now they think it’s a great app. DJI is always improving their drones capabilities and software/firmware. Only issue I have with the actual app is the GPS satellite connection size. Even with my IPad Mini 5, it’s really small. Only other suggestion is for them to add basic waypoints. It should not be too hard and I hope they do an update with that feature. I also have a Mavic Mini. I don’t see why after one year now they haven’t added active Track. Overall great app..Version: 1.1.10

This is epicI just started.Version: 1.10.1

Easy to useClean layout making it very easy to navigate.Version: 1.4.4

Great app but where’s Live-streaming?Please add Live-streaming to this amazing app for the most amazing drone of its size! :-).Version: 1.0.3

It’s great but. It’s a great app but it misses some of the functionality of the dji fly app such as a remaining flight time bar and shutter speed for video etc. I also wish there was an advanced mode with more telemetry data as this would give more control to advanced users. But at the very least video shutter speed and iso control would be great. Also it’s obvious that the drone sensor is capable of 4K why limit it even if it could take sales from the mavic air it could be worth it as more people would buy the mini because of its price and camera which could make up that loss. But In general decent app amazing drone just needs some small improvements..Version: 1.0.6

New born under 250 gr drones...So good . This app is very easy to use . Hope new functionality will came soon. Perfect match with mavic mini... Dji please release the SDK soon...!.Version: 1.0.2

Great App & Very user friendlyDJI offers a great simple app which fits nicely to the Mavic Mini.Version: 1.0.3

Works for MeI use this app with the Mini 2 and it works well for me. Some of the settings are a bit counterintuitive and buried, but once you get used to how the app works it’s actually pretty easy to use. I do wish the moving map’s size could be customized further. It would be ideal to have the map take up a full 1/3 of the screen while the live camera feed would take up the other 2/3. As it is the map is either very small in the corner or fills the entire screen, regulating the camera feed to the small corner..Version: 1.9.5

Fly appNeed to be able to use 3rd party app litchi with this fly app.Version: 1.1.5

Good but still missing support for mini 3 proI was excited to see the new update but sad to see that I still cannot transfer photos and videos from my Mini 3 Pro.Version: 1.7.4

DJI fly appWorks well out of the box, for its size it has everything a first timer would want in a stable platform. Well done DJI you have a winner with the App and the drone itself..Version: 1.0.3

Perfect drone app with lots of featuresAbsolutely a great app that’s amazing for flying the dji Mini 2 has lots of features to use and set up what your after the only downside off the app is the editing of a video you can edit your 4K video but after you have edited the video you can only save it in 1080p or 720p and that is a let down also make sure you transfer you 4K videos from the drone itself as the cache videos are of the small quality 1080p or 720p I think that been the leading drone manufacturer around the world that they would bring out a separate app for editing videos or implement the 4K editing into the dji fly app because you record a 4K video and edit it to be put back to just HD is a big shame . Would love to hear a response back from dji to see if they have any intentions to sort this problem within the app or a separate app to have this option I would pay for it I think if they could do it a £10 charge to buy the app would be perfect.Version: 1.4.8

Reliable and PracticalI recently bought the Air2s and love it so far. It is designed to use this app. The reason why many are giving this app negative reviews is they don’t realize this app is slightly different for each drone E.g my 2s and my mini 2 both run the Dji fly I don’t have an adjustable aperture control on both my drones so of course there is gonna be no option But the New Mavic 3 has it so it has it Overall the app UI is very intuitive however sometimes the altimeter ( GPS ) shows negative (-) altitudes it gets a little bit confusing especially if your flying low This is just my review of the app.Version: 1.5.1

Great appEasy to use.Version: 1.5.10

Decent app but not without its issuesI don’t know why so many negative reviews, yeah there maybe a few bugs but all in all it’s a great bit of software that lets you do amazing things with your drone. The software updates and app updates are normally stable(had a couple of dodgy ones over the years but they tend to get fixed pretty quick) Personally I’ve only ever had a handful of app related issues in all my years of use of dji products so can’t fault them. I like to keep litchi on standby just in case. Looking forward to seeing some new additions for the fpv, maybe osd output to phone screen and sort out the annoying message telling me to tighten f2 screw or whatever it is even though I have adjusted it and it still keeps doing it. Also would like to see the mini2 sdk released so can have litchi on standby for that. Overall a great app, easy to use and deserves better ratings than what it has.Version: 1.4.4

App closes down when editingI’ve noticed when using the app to download videos and also to edit photos/videos that I’m unable to delete the unwanted pics from the AEB shots as the app shuts off. When I select the specific photo(s) of the 3 AEB shots and then click ‘delete’ this is when the app shuts down. It also doesn’t delete the photo. I am guessing this is a bug with the latest firmware update? Other than that I am a beginner drone user but am finding the app really useful as I’m learning the features of my DJI Mini 2. The ability to download videos to my device without connecting it to the controller is also good..Version: 1.2.2

Great Application!I downloaded this app for my newly purchased DJI Mavic Mini, it has worked brilliantly since I first downloaded it (about a year ago). It tells you lots of critical information about the drone whilst flying it such as, how much power you have left, how high you are flying, the distance between you and the drone and so much more. I think that the app is amazing how it is but the only bad thing that I would say is that DJI don’t update the app regularly so we are always stuck with the same look and feel - which isn’t always a terrible thing, but it would be nice to have some variety. Any other things that I have found within the drone app are that it is very easy to transfer videos to camera roll or onto the DJI fly app. You can also transport videos from drone to pc using a micro sd card (you will need this to film and take photos) Overall, it is a very well-done app and works efficiently with how I need to use it to get my shots and then pack up! Brilliant app - thank you!.Version: 1.4.8

Great appThanks for the updates, they all add to improving the overall flying experience. In terms of video editing can I please request the landscape view is enable in the app’s video editor for the iPad as it would make the workflow easier? Also, the ability to switch phone charging on or off would be useful to maximise battery capacity..Version: 1.4.3

Great app - simple and straightforward to useFull marks for making the app easy to use without getting bogged down with superfluous options and menus. Only only one thing to say to DJI - Please, please, please, please - put a dark underlay beneath the flight text on the top menu bar - it’s virtually impossible in bright daylight to see that all important battery status info!!! Otherwise - great!.Version: 1.1.3

BrilliantEverything worked and easy set up. Build quality was perfect. 100 percent recommend :).Version: 1.5.4

Great product and softwareVery user friendly software but for a first time user it took sometime to learn how to pair the drone with the remote. It would help if I could swipe to the next step in setup..Version: 1.8.0

Good appGood app, however a bug when in the edit function when I press done to save it cuts off some of the options to save the quality of the footage (iPhone XS). I only have 720p and half of 1080p showing and can’t scroll down..Version: 1.6.9

The app is awesome for beginners and prosThis app is really easy and simple to use by the looks of the videos. I really wish that it could be compatible with the other Drones as I have a DJI Mavic Air and would like to use it with this app.Version: 1.0.3

Great beginner appThis is a wonderful app for beginner drone operators. I just got my first drone and found this app straightforward and easy to fly my Mavic Mini. The app has everything that a novice operator would need to fly their drone without feeling overwhelmed with the telemetry data. The quick shots feature is especially helpful with getting very cinematic looking footage of the subject with just a couple taps in the app. I am (mostly) happy with what DJI has done with this app. There are however shortcomings. First, the quickshots are very limited in scope. Few other quick shots would have been nice. Also there is no subject tracking feature so the subject has to be stationary for the drone to capture them in quick shots. Thirdly, the RTH height is buried in the menus. Would be nice if I could set the RTH height prior to each flight depending on the surroundings I am flying in. I honestly think DJI should implement an advanced mode in the app that operator could switch to as they become more experienced. Hopefully they will continue to improve the functionality of this app..Version: 1.0.3

DJI is the best drone company, no doubt.Earlier today, I bought my first ever DJI product- A mini SE. as an entry level drone, it is phenomenally good, DJI did not cheap out on anything and went above and beyond. I expected a cheap, low quality overrated product, but got something equal to multi thousand dollar drones, including a 3k camera, tracking, fly zone detection, auto land and takeoff, and a super good and high quality controller that all folds. The app is super user friendly, I feel like a pro after my first day with DJI! 11/10 company, these guys are overachievers in every way..Version: 1.6.2

App crashed but the drone had safety featuresI had been flying the mini 2 over a local Walmart and I was gonna take a pano shot but the app crashed this happened on a 5 or 4 year old iPad so it probably was the iPads fault. Luckily the done did not in fact crash. But it was still in the airsince the controller was on it did not Return to where I turned it on/home point. I was able to reconnect with the drone and get it back onto the ground safely. It’s battery was low however though if it’s battery got to low it would have just automatically returned to home. Moral of the story don’t use low end devices to fly it..Version: 1.4.8

Amazing drone, great app with one major annoyanceI love my Mavic Mini! It’s a great starter drone. DJI has done a great job with this app, as it’s pretty intuitive and responsive. However, there’s one major annoyance: you CANNOT silence the low battery alarm. Instead, it just blares over and over again at you - starting from 20% - until you land the drone. I understand DJI did this for safety reasons but they absolutely MUST provide an option to acknowledge and then silence the alarm. The noise is so obnoxious that, for me, it basically renders 1/5 of the battery runtime useless, as I now try to land before I hear that awful alarm. I’ve read about people considering cutting the speaker wire to stop the alarm. DJI: you have an amazing product but you really need to listen to your users and provide the ability to silence the alarm! How about an option to hit OK when it first alerts on low battery?.Version: 1.0.6

Great app but needs sorting outI am just going keep it simple. Not going to bore you with a 5 minute review. The app is great, easy to navigate and you do not need to be a professional drone videographer to use it. It has a few bugs like a lot of apps do but it is nothing that cannot be fixed with an update. Like for example if you go in album and then hit the create button bottom right corner. It gives you the chance to make a small movie with couple of the clips you have recorded, but when you choose the end logo for the video the apps just erases the whole video and just saves that last 1-2 seconds of the ending clip (dji logo) tried it with different templates and different videos but it would not work. Also it does need more stickers as the one the are already in are just a bit too simple and not a lot. Otherwise app is great for beginners and advanced..Version: 1.1.3

Dji fly app / Mavic air 2A great app easy to use and full of great options but the quick shots is were dji could do with some improvements especially when I just bought my dji Mavic air 2 about 1 month 2 weeks ago and now dji has a new drone with better features like master shot please update the Mavic air 2 with new quick shots.Version: 1.4.0

Great app Thank youThank you DJI! Now my drone photos with the new update are stored in cloud storage so much free space! Can you add flight map planing?.Version: 1.6.12

Don’t understand why the complaintsI suspect it might depend on the combination of drone model and controller. If you are using the RC-N1 then the phone you use with this controller may be a contributing factor to your overall enjoyment or frustration. I started off with the RC in mid 2021, the one with the integral display, and never experienced any of the glitchs or annoyances that I’ve read here. I update everytime there’s an update available as it just gets better. This is my first time writing a review here to balance some of the negatives. BTW, I didnt do this at DJI’s request. I did this simply because I like their innovative business model and the quality of their products, and I do own a number of their products. The product forums on DJI’s website provides lots of help from other users too. Happy flying🙂.Version: 1.12.8

Almost perfect but lacking one thing.Takes a moment to get used to everything just like any other intuitive app. However could use one more simple on screen feature. That would be a gimbal reset or gimbal position control. I was thinking a simple on screen button that you could tap once for either reset, or tap multiple times for like a 45*degree position, vertical or birds eye. I hate that I have to navigate through settings to find the gimbal reset button after doing a rocket quick shot with my DJI magic mini 2. Please incorporate this as I know many of us professional and amateur drone users would be so grateful!.Version: 1.6.2

Not my first drone but first DJI droneBeen using app for a couple days now and has no issues, it’s very user friendly if you have never flown a drone before. It’s a nice feature that before you fly in any area it will ask you to ask for permission to fly if the area is restricted. It’s a very fast process and makes sure you are flying within the rules, so you don’t get a fine flying were your not supposed to. The in editor built into the app is also very easy to you with many features for quick edits if you wanted to post something quick on social media since it only exports files in 1080p. So if you want to get the full 2.7k resolution, you will need to edit on another app or on your computer which is fine..Version: 1.1.0

Mavic mini favorite drone, best drone and app for moneyThe most wonderful companion app for my brand new Mavic Mini 1. I absolutely love the 2.7k resolution, highly underrated and completely saves about 1/3rd of my memory when compared to 4k 30fps. I would purchase the new beautiful Mini 2, but 4k just is not enough for me to upgrade. My brand new iPhone and 1,300$ MacBook Pro doesn’t even display 4k, so my need for Mini 2 with 4k is literally pointless. Only positive would be its technology longevity. Anyone will be happy with either drone and DJi good job on your best app ever. DJI fly is perfect for beginners, which is why it’s so accessible. Simplicity = Superb. Thank You DJI, once again. I can’t wait for next update. DJI for Life. Thanks for listening and download “DJI FLY” APP right now..Version: 1.2.5

More detail on updates pleaseThe last few updates to DJI Fly have been given the following Bug Fix list: “Fixed certain issues and optimized overall app quality.”. This is not good enough for an app which is essentially safety critical. It’s very lazy behaviour from whoever creates the update texts. We need to know what has been changed so that we know what to expect - we’re operating in the aviation world, changes must be made clear. As a trivial, non-safety critical example which annoyed me (so I’m going to mention it here) earlier versions of Fly were unable to correctly upload flight log data - has that been fixed? You haven’t told me, I have to go and try it for myself every time there’s an update. What changes have been made to the safety-critical command and control part of the software that we might need to know about? We have no idea, because you’re not telling us. In future please clearly list the changes that have been made and the bugs that have been fixed. Thank you..Version: 1.11.0

Active track on mini 2Dear dji The dji mini 2 is a great drone with a really powerful camera and a variety of quick shots but please consider adding active track to the drone, I it has no obstacle avoidance but active track can still be added if you are flying at a high altitude with no obstacles. If you do add it you can also warn the user of possible crashes which could occur before using active track. So dji please consider adding active track to the mini 2 Thanks.Version: 1.7.4
