✓ Better than nothingJust got an Apple Watch and was disappointed there isn’t a SoundCloud app. I bought the watch for running and I listen to SoundCloud mixes when I run. Eventually I reluctantly tried DaftCloud. The setup went fairly smoothly. And it works! Sometimes it can take a while for the song to actually start playing. But I am pleased to have a form of SoundCloud on the watch. My suggestions for the developer: Currently the Play icon shows while it is playing, which is actually the opposite of what SoundCloud does. When you are playing a track on SoundCloud it shows the Pause icon. So that is confusing and at first I was waiting and waiting for it to play, when it was paused. Also I would love the ability to click on the “playing track box” and that would show some more info and a “time/status bar” that would show you the time elapsed/remaining and allow you to jump around the timeline. So I’m happy, and there is room for improvement..Version: 1.0.28
✓ It Works WellAs others have mentioned, logging into SoundCloud is an ordeal. But I believe the developer when they say there’s nothing anyone but SoundCloud can do about it. It is what it is. Aside from that everything works well enough—my playlists played instantly—and it’s wonderful to be able to listen to SoundCloud on my Apple Watch. Worth the three bucks! — Thanks for the app. Four stars bumped to five to make up a bit for the unfair ratings from some others who blamed the dev for things out of their control. — P.S.- You might want to change the description since setting up on a Mac is no longer necessary. ✓ Brilliant - a must have for SoundCloud / applewatch usersThe lack of a native soundcloud app on the applewatch has been a huge black hole in the apple ecosystem - especially you want to listen to streaming mixes away from your phone. This app plugs that hole and does so elegantly and reliably. A great value add for the apple watch for very good value. Highly recommended.Version: 1.0.14
✓ The Soundcloud Watch SolutionSoundCloud doesn’t support a stand alone watch app, but this does the trick! Can store all songs linked to your SC account (liked tracks, playlists, the weekly upload, etc) directly on your Apple Watch. Don’t need to be connected to the internet for playback. If I had to list one con it would be that there is no shuffle button. Other than that it’s perfect..Version: 1.0.9
✓ HypeMachine on Apple WatchWith the HypeMachine to Soundcloud sync, this is the most affordable way to listen to HypeMachine favorites on an Apple Watch. The other option is Spotify playlist bridge and Spotify Premium subscription, but even a single month subscription supercedes the $8 Mac purchase + $3 Watch purchase. ✓ FantasticI’ve been using the Mac version of this app for years. And now we have the watch app, which works great, allows access to your stream, playlist, liked tracks etc. All via cellular, no phone app or even phone required! Sound quality is great as expected and the watch app player is fantastic too! Update on 15/10/21 - got new Apple Watch and encountered the login issue. But I got it to work with Facebook. Just make sure you approve the browser from your phone first. Then the Watch. If you still have issues, just tap on ‘having trouble?’ And get the Watch send a code to your phone. Enter the code, then login again and it works. It’s a bit annoying but you only have to do it once and that’s it. People leaving low stars just haven’t figured it out. The app itself works even better than previous version. Thanks so much. Update 05/03.23 The app is now broken. Won’t play music on my watch, but shows all my tracks, playlists etc. When I try to play any track I get an error ‘failed to load’ message. Hope this can be fixed so we can continue enjoying this great app..Version: 1.0.29

✓ BEST way to stream SoundCloud with Apple WatchLove this app! I have searched far and wide and DaftCloud (Wrist edition) is THE app to stream SoundCloud on Apple Watch using cellular data (without needing to have your phone on you). It’s really easy to set up...just download the DaftCloud Mac app and be sure iCloud sync is enabled so that the Watch can find your SoundCloud account, and boom you’re in business! It will port over your SoundCloud playlists and stream, and you can even save and repost tracks to your SoundCloud profile. The app developer is also very responsive and helpful!.Version: 1.0.14
✓ Pretty decentApp on Apple Watch runs pretty smooth. There are some bugs that occur sometimes but not enough to be annoying. I had some issues but was able to get them resolved when I emailed support. I was using it for about 6 months and everything is slows getting better. ✓ Works greatYou have to enable your Soundcloud account for Apple or Google-based sign in and login once on the Watch. Once this is done the app works reliably for browsing your likes and playlists and streaming over cellular. You can also seek within long tracks with the Digital Crown. Recommended!.Version: 1.0.28
✓ AmazingSo happy to be able to leave my phone behind and still be able to listen to soundcloud. I’ve been using it for the past week now and it’s been great to not have to have my phone on me when I go to the gym/go for a run. ✓ It worksAs the first and possibly only way to stream soundcloud without a phone it’s brilliant. I can now go out running & cycling without lugging the heavy brick around which - was why I bought the watch in the first place. Just a few things could be improved. - if you skip ahead the next track takes 8-10s to download, if you’re underground you have to wait for the next station. Really needs to preload the next few tracks. - login is a bit fiddly. It’ll find accounts in your iCloud Keychain - but it might not be the right account - requiring you to log out and in on another device and keep poking it until it syncs. - There’s no way to search - you’re just restricted to your stream and liked tracks. ✓ Updated review- can finally sign in.See below for initial review. Developer was able to provide a solution for signing in. Update: Happy to have a way to stream my favorite SoundCloud sets, but unfortunately the app is still quite buggy. Loses connection quite a bit, which wouldn’t be so terrible if at least you could continue and pick-up where you left off. After getting “kicked out”, you need to select what you want to hear again (and start from the beginning)- this is not conducive to an enjoyable experience, not to mention that it’s quite an inconvenience when you’re in the middle of a run or bike ride. Hoping the developer can sort this issue as well. Initial review: Can’t sign in on the watch. Keep getting message to “check the reCAPTCHA checkbox”, but so such box exists. Thus, the app is useless. ✓ As good as Official Soundcloud would have been!!Been using this app for about 2-3 weeks. Very simple and feature rich interface. I can play the latest stream from the artists I follow or just play my favourite playlists or the the tunes I liked. The best part is that you can scrub through the track just like on a phone. Pretty stable with my Series 6 Cellular watch . Now, I can finally utilize my watch data rather than just be dependent on Apple Music or Spotify subscriptions. Kudos to the dev. The only thing I found negative was that the previous & next track buttons aren't that responsive. Many a times have to hit them with a lot of precision. Would be nice if the interface was more sensitive around that area or just those buttons be bigger. Other than the app is perfect for your evening runs😎.Version: 1.0.26
✓ Sound not balanced on AirPodsLike the watch app! Great to play SoundCloud ad free from my wrist. One problem thought I was going deaf in right ear or right AirPod was dying. Turns out when playing on AirPods sound is off balance for some reason only with the app. Any other app or use of AirPods works fine. Any suggestions or fix?.Version: 1.0.5

✓ Works for me!I’m not sure why everyone is so critical. They should be mad at Apple not the developer. Without this app I wouldn’t have access to my SoundCloud account. Of course I was hesitant at first to download the app based on the reviews, but I’ve had no issues so far. Yes the sign-in process is annoying but it’s a one and done deal, not like every time you put your watch on you need to go through it..Version: 1.0.29
