✓ Frustrating funSo having completed all of the possible objectives. I find that I was both frustrated and throughly enthralled during the entirety of the game. Some levels were fairly easy to complete, some were nightmares. And failing to pick up one “jewel” or whatever they are, meant I was hitting the restart button. It’s addictive and incredibly time consuming if you let it be. I feel like there maybe more content coming? Only reason I say that is I completed everything and as far as I can see I can’t make further progress towards new balls. Or characters. Or whatever they are..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Warning!!! HYPER level is insane! Love it!Love this game! One of the main reasons I keep Apple Arcade. Been playing since it came out. Be Warned! It's a fun mix of relaxing and intense gameplay, with nice functional visuals and several things to unlock. One thing that bothers me: even after playing for several days, the control feels slightly delayed, or something. I find that I have to take my finger off the screen sooner than feels natural. ✓ Challenging but chillThis game is fantastic and the developer(s) should be very proud. I just finished the 180th level of the first mode. I have to say.. I haven’t had that much fun with such a simple concept game in a long time. I’ve been playing this for the past few days and it has been so fun I’ve even been taking videos to show my friends. The design is so elegant. The game flows with ease. Great controls. Fast reset after death. No clunky tutorials. Plus there are many different visual customizations you unlock as you play. One thing I love is the feeling of flawlessly completing a level. It’s one thing to get to the end. But when you retry and time everything perfectly, hitting the right swings at the right angles, slipping and sliding, swinging and sailing. Seriously, it makes you feel like a master of physics. For the first time ever... there isn’t anything I would suggest adding to this game. It is fantastic as it is. I’m about to head into the second mode and I’m very excited. Already there has been an abundance of content and this game alone has made the Apple Arcade worth it. Well done..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Game is great but can we do something about the cheatsThe game is great but the leaderboards on the daily stuff are nonsense. For example today’s daily challenge has a win at 30 seconds. ✓ One-handed, easyYou only need one hand - really, one finger - to click the screen. You play the part of a star on the end of a rope that is attached to a circle by a string. The goal is to collect more sparkly stars until you drop down into a hole. Some people might find this very tough. Other people might not think twice about it, and it’s perfect for them. Especially if they end up in bed sick with a fever or something. It holds enough of your attention to be challenging, but it’s also very ergonomic..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Mind Blowing Game!I never thought I wld like Arcade games till my husband downloaded it for me and I tried this awesome game. It blows my mind to think how intelligent & imaginative the makers of these game are. It REALLY takes some thinking to get thru the levels. Pus I like the idea of a daily challenge to add something different to the game. It’s so much fun & challenging to play this game. I LOVE it! Keeps your mind young for sure. ✓ Addictive!Love it and I’ve 3 starred all levels in Classic, Rush and Lost. My only gripe is on some of the One Life levels where you end up dying because something you have no control over goes wrong. This has happened many times where a cannon will fire you on an arc and the arc goes straight into the spikes instead of over then like it should. Also some of the springs where they ricochet you about don’t end up where they should and you end up dying pointlessly again. Apart from that really good game and 3 starring Rush is proving ‘challenging’…..Version: 1.17.0
✓ FabulousThere’s a few games like this in the App Store, based around movement and grappling your character to objects as you spin and fly thru levels… but they all lack what this game nails: great LEVEL DESIGN. The physics on this one felt a little floaty to me at first. But the level designs more than compensate for it. And there are hundreds of levels to play. The game surprises by constantly giving new challenges and new mechanics to play with. Definitely recommend this one for short bursts of challenge followed by gratification. ✓ Great game! What's up with daily challenge though?I love this game! The levels are relatively easy even the ones where you only get one change to use an anchor. So I finished it quickly. But there's a daily challenge! Yay! However, I can't figure out how it should work. Sometimes I put in a time and I get a ranking. Sometimes it doesn't matter how often I play it, I never get ranked. I also have serious questions about the fastest times for certain challenges. I'll see top times that are so fast, they seem impossible to me. Not talking a couple of seconds but 20 to 30 seconds faster than what I'm able to pull off, even if I make no mistakes. So either I'm missing something in how the game can be played or something else is going on..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Beautiful game!I love this game, even if it begins to get incredibly difficult at later levels. I personally think you should slow the lasers on level 9-2 (146) a bit, as they move too fast to be able to swing through, get the gems, attach to the axel on the side, and swing into safety in about 2 seconds. ✓ Another vote for haptics!Overall, this is a game that’s worthy of your download and time. Solid physics, fluid visuals and quality sounds effect + score. That being said, I was super bummed to discover that this game has zero haptics. I read another review where one of the devs explained they had incorporated it, initially, until it began to cause unforeseen consequences and this is truly a shame. I know the team says they’d like to add it back at some point so I just want to say I REALLY hope you take this serious and figure out a way to make this work because this is the type of game where haptic response really shines and adds a lot to the total experience. ✓ Great game and mechanicsLove the art style, the music and the mechanics. I was hooked and finished it in a few days. Not many games keep me playing until the end these days! My only criticism was that once I completed the final level (3 stars on every level too) I was a tad underwhelmed as nothing happens. You just just kicked to the main level select screen. ✓ Great but kind of intenseI got this game about two or three weeks ago. It is quite addictive and satisfying but also kind of stressful. I am not a gamer, so video games just don’t come very naturally to me. ✓ An Arcade game done rightHaving been somewhat disappointed with Arcade offerings, I came upon Sping recently. I've played it on my phone, ipad, and just downloaded on my Mac. I love this game. The physics and mechanics are first rate. You need strategy and timing to finish some of the more advanced levels. It is very simple to play, but challenging to master. Practice makes perfect! ✓ BEST GAME ON APPLE ARCADE!!!This is a great game, very challenging and exciting. Will make you think quick and also how to get from one point to the other. How fast are slow how long are short you need to hold onto the sphere. I love this game always a go to when I’m not playing Pokémon. There is just one tiny thing. Thank you for the newest updates the The Lab is great, very challenging love it. But could there be more levels. I know there are 252 in Classic and 36 in One Chance and 9 in The Lab. ✓ Love This.I recently completed all of the currently released levels. Overall this game is really amazing, and I’m exited to see what comes next. Weather it’s a new mode or more levels for a current mode I’m exited. I do wish you wouldn’t have put all the skins in, until it was possible to unlock them all. I currently have all but 2 achievements, one of which is to unlock all the n!ght glade skins, of which I have 7, but with no more levels to complete, this quest is currently impossible for me. ✓ Worth playing 100%I’ve been waiting for the game since it was announced. I’ve been enjoying every moment since. Great visuals, Sweet Soundtracks, and simple game(but challenging). ✓ Great game, suddently stopped launchingOver 100 levels in, all 3-star so you could say I was pretty into it. Then suddely it refuses to launch on MacBook Pro M1. All other installed Apple Arcade games launch but this one crashes at the "Apple" screen. Before this point, I found this game extremely addictive. Nothing short of a perfect score was acceptable which meant many repeats on some levels but this didn't annoy me. Difficulty progresses but not always consistently. level 60 could be harder than level 80... Either way this is a great game to pick up for a few mintues. It's challenging, decent music and really makes you want to reach for those perfect scores. Rating 5 stars as I know eventually they'll patch the crash bug..Version: 1.0.5
✓ Fantastically addictingI enjoy platformers and other action games. This one snared me immediately. The sound and visuals are wonderful and it’s built for rapid play (i.e., no clunky menus or waiting for scores to add). It’s like a crazy mashup of golf, pinball and Super Mario. Get this! Update: Removed a star because the expert levels are *too* expert. The ones beyond “Doom Dungeon” are simply impossible compared to rest of the game unless you’re willing to devote your life to them. A little more tolerance for error would make it feel like you have a sporting chance even after 993 other levels..Version: 1.4.0

It’s annoying that some levels are “difficult” because you die to things off screen when you zoom towards them. I also would like to unlock more cosmetics. ✓ One of the best mobile games!Okay so I’ve played a lot of mobile games and when I mean a lot I mean it my phone is filled to the brim of mobile games that I’ve played, even on my friends phones I’ve played some others. But SP!NG is top number 3. It’s amazing it has no ads,Incredibly smooth, and has more and more new updates! I played this game on a 5 hour plane ride and I didn’t exit out. ✓ Wonderfully satisfying one button gameI’ve played dozens of Apple Arcade games, and I’d rank this among my top 3. An absolutely beautiful game, at the same time stress-relieving but engaging. The environments are all gorgeous, and I love that you are able to customize each level with your favorite. Would love to see more environments in the future, but I can tell a lot of time and effort was put into these, so that may be difficult. I also appreciate that even though this is a one button game, the devs included controller support. A huge bonus for me as I often prefer sitting back on the couch and playing without having to hold my iPad. The only other improvement I’d ask for would be to try to get the iPad Pro version to be able to run at 120fps, I’m pretty sure it’s running at 60fps as of writing. Not sure if this is an engine limitation or if it just needs some optimization, but that would be the icing on the cake. Hope to see more from these devs in the future!.Version: 1.0.5

My fav mode is One Life. I just wish they would fix ram that one mode. It use to be playable then it wasn’t, now it just gets too fast too quick. ✓ Great gameI really enjoy this game, it’s straightforward to understand, easy to master and hard (ish) to complete. I’m really happy that new levels are coming quite regularly, but unfortunately it’s very easy to complete them all in a couple of hours. I know it mustn’t be easy to create new levels, but it really would be nice if there were coming more frequently to keep us entertained. My only issue with the game is the daily challenge: there must me some sort of cheater or bot or something because the top scores are way too good. Sometimes they’re 5/10 sec quicker than an almost perfect round, which is literally impossible and make playing it a bit frustrating. Developers, would you mind looking into this?.Version: 1.3.0

✓ Unputdownable!I never review games. Ever. I hardly ever get past the first five levels of anything. This however is different! I don’t know what it is, put it’s easy to pick up, but devilishly tricky the further you go! Four days in and I’m on level 110! I don’t want it to end. The premise is so simple, get your “sprite” through each maze whilst collecting jewels. I have had no crashes or glitches, just pure joy. Takes me back to my youth when games were made to be fun! Each level plays quickly and has something fun or novel to figure out. The overall flow is great - you can pick up for a quick minute to try to knock out a level - or replay dozens of times trying to hit a tricky 3rd star. ✓ Forever AppI don’t keep a ton of games on my phone indefinitely; usually I play until they lose their charm and then delete. Sp!ng has earned its place right next to WHAT THE GOLF? and Heads Up! on my Home Screen forever. (I guess I like games with punctuation in the names 🤷🏻♂️.) If you haven’t played this yet, give it a shot, but be prepared for it to eat up all of your free time. This game is addictive and rewarding, and nothing feels quite the same as finally getting a “Perfect!” on that level you’ve been attempting all day! ✓ Great game but one flawThe gameplay is great the graphics are great. But the later levels really make my iPhone get hot to the point that it throttles and the screen gets very dim. This is even with the graphical details set to lowest. (iPhone 13 Pro Max). I feel the game shouldn’t be so intensive to cause thermal problems. Sometimes, however, someone finds a way to hack the game and post a time that you couldn’t match even if you simply race to the exit with no regard for collecting the stars. ✓ Perfect Amount of Frustration and Fun!This is the first review I have ever written for an app, but I just completed all levels (not the lab) and this game is so much fun. Some levels are quite difficult and take some good planning, but it is so rewarding when you finally beat it! The difficulty progression isn’t perfect, but I didn’t dislike that because I was able to breeze through some levels and not get stuck on every single level. I would highly recommend!!.Version: 1.2.1
✓ Very Satisfying AA gameSp!ng represents what Apple Arcade should have been, the game provides a great service by providing a quick break from your day with a little burst of fun to reset your brain before you get back to work. A subscription business model is good for it since it provides a way for new levels to continue to be built without micro transactions that would probably effect how the game is built in a negative way. ✓ Great Game Leaderboards Broken again!Great game. Very addictive, however when doing the daily challenges, the leaderboard is bugged. Only shows one persons time on the leaderboard and after completing the level 3 times, my time is still not being registered on the leaderboard. Update 1 : developers were true to their word and the leaderboards are now working correctly! Great fun trying to climb the leaderboard. ✓ Absolutely love this game!I never really took to any mobile games until I came across this one. I play this everyday and I never want to stop. There are new updates quite often so you never run out of things to do! I managed to get my friends and family to download this and they don’t regret it. It runs smoothly and is so enjoyable and frustrating which just makes it better! I love the geometric shapes and I love unlocking new characters and backgrounds it can make you personalise the levels to who you are (I like paper ocean!). One tiny thing (sorry to complain), I sometimes get kicked off halfway through a level, doesn’t happen often and I just think it’s my phone! 😂 Anyway, SP!NG is a must get and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone. ✓ Superb!!!Love this game... It is easy to play but hard to master... I love the challenge! Very addictive. However tough it gets you always find out exactly what needs to be done in order to complete a level... I have managed to get a perfect score on all 180 levels and all 36 One Chance levels. My only criticism is regarding the online leaderboards for the Daily Challenges... Sometimes no times are shown or my position is not shown at all after completing a level. Also some player’s times seem to be impossible - I can a complete a level almost perfectly and yet someone else has done it 15 seconds quicker?! No way!!.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great game which stallsEverything about this game is attractive. The graphic, the music, the challenges. Until I got to Level 144. The game gives access to the subsequent levels but when linking to the main menu where the Chapters are doesn't show any progress. Tried to uninstall and install again several times. Carried out the latest update but nothing has changed. The game deserves 5 full stars but for functionality problems doesn't really achieve them. I read that in March there have been several reviews which complained about glitches but sadly not even the latest update hasn't resolved the problems. ✓ The ‘Ted Lasso’ of Apple ArcadeSo hear me out about this review title: As I was working my way to the point where I could write this I was thinking about all the things I liked about this game. First and foremost is the degree to which I was hooked from the first round. The simplicity of the control. The clarity of purpose. The gentle visual prompts. The fact that ‘failure’ doesn’t feel so much like failure as much as it does “Oh, I see. Just do this instead.” Might take a couple of tries, but positive reinforcement is emphasized over negative reinforcement. Success feels good and failure isn’t the end of the world. Then I got to its entry in Arcade and start reading the copy. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually experienced this before, but it’s actually accurate! The words they use to describe the game actually corresponds to the experience of playing it. So yeah. I’m hooked. After a year, there’s finally a second game on Arcade I love (rather than ‘it’s ok’). If (and only if) you enjoy physics-based (flying, spinning, running, jumping) type games, I’d highly recommend it. It’s not for everyone because nothing is. The graphics and gameplay are perfect, and it’s still challenging enough that it will keep you hooked until you complete all the levels with full stars. The only reason I can only give it 4 stars instead of five is that for the daily challenge, it’s clear that the top scorers have either found a way to cheat or they just don’t exist. And since the game doesn’t offer a chance to see a replay, it’s impossible to know which one it is. But it is simply impossible to achieve some of the times that are being displayed. ✓ Finally completed level 146 with 3 stars!!!I didn’t think it was possible, as months ago I played this game quite frequently, but I got stuck at level 146, where after perhaps 100+ attempts, I could not complete the level with 3 stars. At that point, I had enough and so I deleted the game. Fast forward to today, where I decided to re-download the game, and after maybe a dozen attempts, I was finally able to complete level 146 with 3 stars!!! 👍 Great to see that the developer added more levels since the game was initially released. So I now have a renewed interest to move beyond level 146 and keep playing. ✓ The game was perfect.I loved the game on my iPad 6th gen. I found absolutely nothing wrong with the game, it was challenging at times but very much possible. I had completed the game three times, I had every icon, and all stars. But not anymore. I recently got an iPad Pro 11”, and now the game will not even start. It does not even try to enter the app. And then I realized, all vertical Apple Arcade games will not even start! ✓ The concept of their old game “One More Line” taken to the maxSo recently, I was going through my old games I had played years ago, and downloaded “One More Line”, a game that operates with similar functionality in an endless dash, and I had a lot of fun with it. When I saw this game, it immediately reminded me of that and I was happy to see it was by the same developer! I loved that game and now after about a week of playing, I love this one too! It’s incredibly simple yet incredibly fun, and I think also has some really great innovation to the puzzle design. Just when you think you’ve seen everything the game has to throw at you, they find a way to use the mechanics you have already mastered in a new way that proves challenging and fun every time! Absolutely love this and I also love the added touch of each different theme having it’s own soundtrack! Really fun way to give the player the ability to change the mood of the game! Also love all the different game modes, so if I want something fast and challenging, I can play Rush; if I want to have to think about my moves and learn through trial and error, Classic is the way to go; and if I just want to enjoy the beauty of the game, I choose Zen. ✓ Best Game on App StoreThis is my first and probably the only app review I will write on the App Store. This game is incredible and addicting, making it the best game available on the App Store. I have completed every level with 3 stars as soon as they release them. It is so much fun to play and is designed very well. I can’t recommend this game enough. The only downsides are the quick battery drain and the levels are too easy to complete. I find myself finishing the levels fairly quick, leaving me waiting months for them to release more levels. Hopefully they release more levels soon and it doesn’t take months like this most recent update did. I also hope they create more levels similar to “The Lab Experts Only” that are more difficult and challenging, because in my opinion the levels that are near impossible to complete with 3 stars are the most fun.
