✓ A little feedbackLove the app, however sometimes in tavern games I make a move that the computer registers at first, then I go to make a premove and then my previous move that had been accepted is retracted and replaces by the move I’d made after. Then it doesn’t recognise this new move it replaced my original move with and the timer keeps on going even though I cannot make another move.. I don’t really understand why this happens but it makes it impossible to play sometimes because even after I’ve made a move it keeps running out my time and I end up having to draw or resign... other than that the normal matches work really well this really only seems to be a problem I have on tavern....Version: 1.7.2
✓ Super funI enjoyed very much Chess Universe app. The animations are funny (try the cannon for fun ..)and the challenges are worth the time to spend with them,. You always learn something new with chess here, The players are real and sometimes hard to beat even at lower levels 1600 or less..Version: 1.6.7
✓ Least ads of all mobile gamesBiggest thing is I’m not getting swamped with million ads. I’m not a super fan of the online play but still enjoyable. The Chess academy also makes this game stand out you don’t have a daily limit on the lessons you can use if you have the currency you can do them.Version: 1.16.5
✓ Needs incrementI like the game. However I don’t see an option to play with increment which has been standard for chess especially online for many years now. As an example most blitz is played at 3 minutes with a 2 second increment. Graphics and ease of use is excellent. Fix the time controls and to will be outstanding..Version: 1.5.3

Only concern: I bought VIP which unlocks most things and kills ads but i still didn't get the rubik's cube pet (unlockable by unlocking all boards) even though VIP unlocks all boards..Version: 1.18.4

✓ Great game! Small fix need addedI love the customization aspect of the game. I love a lot about the game but I think there should be daily refreshes on ammo and I think there shouldn’t be as many dud chests. You play so many games back to back to get a single key just to unlock a dud chest. And if the chest isn’t a dud you get 3-5 cards out towards something that needs 125 cards to fully unlock. Progression is ridiculously slow unless you spend money which makes it seem like that’s what the game wants more than anything. Also there needs to be an option in the settings to have to double click an area to confirm moving a piece. I’ve lost too many pieces and games due to accidentally clicking a square one space over leaving my queen wide open for getting taken. I have big fingers and the largest iPhone on the market and yet I still keep clicking the wrong space. You need to add a double click setting to move..Version: 1.19.0

✓ Chess AcademyChess academy, ABC chess school, level 18 to be exact is the first issue i’ve had with the game. This level deliberately makes me lose. No matter what moves it gives me the option to pick, it WILL NOT let me win. I had mate in 4 MOVES and still it would not give me the option to get mate!! (It’s a check mate with the queen, guarded by the bishop and still, the game would not let me do it). Also, if If I use hints only, STILL does the game make you lose -_- Is this a deliberate way to make people use gems to get more moves or something???.Version: 1.5.3

Also 25 gems I was saving just disappeared and there is no way of telling why or where they went. It sounds petty but they are pretty rare and it probably took 100 games or more to get those gems. ✓ Tactics even for beginnersI tried another one of these apps that as soon as you passed the very short training, it became crazy hard for a noobie. However, this one is building up nicely and I’m gaining in confidence. I like that it shows me where the piece is allowed to move, as sometimes I can’t understand why the king can’t move left or something, so I’m forced to look more closely at the board and realise I was moving into check. I have been thinking of some idea for expanding the experience. 1) write a short code to allow past games to be shared as a slide show with friends. This could help promote your app. 2) allow a third party texting box to speak to your opponents to discuss the games we play. This can be done by adding a portal patched in from a third party collaborating chat app. This way your provider tends to the responsibility of providing the legal terms while you benefit from the app experience enriching. 3) 3 and 4 player chess! This would just be awesome. 4) once we can chat the friends we make will need to be archived. Allow for friends to be held in a address page where we can contact active players and invite them to a game. Thank you for reading, hope you consider some of these ideas. ✓ Great game with room for improvementRevising my one-star review to establish I was able to make contact with the developer and get my questions answered - though they made it very difficult! Fortunately, their new site has a contact us button and they have been responsive. The app itself is quite good. I enjoy the training towers, even if they could stand more explanation (something I am told they are working on), and gameplay is great with lots of options for different types of games.
