✓ Bug reportThe software is absolutely fantastic and I have used it for 40 brews now and keep learning more about all the available features. Can you check the functionality of the share button? When I try to share a recipe all I get is a link to the app but not to the recipe I am trying to share. ✓ WHERE HAS THIS SOFTWARE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!?!!!Ok, so first brew with Brewfather under my belt and WHERE HAS THIS SOFTWARE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!?!!! It is awesome!! Just like everyone is saying: The UI is stellar. The flow of the brew day is awesome. Tilt integration is very choice. The list goes on... My only 2 complaints: 1. The PC Web browser version crashed 4 or 5 times before I abandoned it and switched to an iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard. When I did that it worked flawlessly and it was apparent to me that this is how it’s designed to be used. I never explored if it might have been the browser I was using (chrome) because I was so tickled with how it worked on the iPad. 2. BeerSmith has product explanations of hops, yeast and malts if you hover over the name. Grainfather does not. I use that a lot when I’m putting together a recipe. Hopefully Brewfather adopts something like that. Before my BeerSmith subscription ends. I’m hooked. Brewfather is far and above the best out there in my opinion and that’s only after one brew..Version: 2.7.3
✓ Excellent!I’m a longtime user of a different desktop based brewing application currently brewing my first batch with Brewfather. I’ll never go back! From recipe creation to water adjustments to the built in brew day timer, Brewfather is fantastic! It’s great to be able to create a recipe on my computer, then switch to my phone to use the brew day timers and have access to notes, reminders, and my recipe. The developer also seems responsive to new feature requests. The free account is useful, but I’ll definitely be upgrading to a premium account!.Version: 2.4.2

✓ Excellent brewing appThe first and last brewing app I’ll download. Brewfather checks all the boxes. Love the cloud saving so I can easily brew using my iPad, but also keep track on my phone if I need to move around the house during a mash or boil. Recipe crafting is super easy, and adapting and publishing recipes with the Library rules. Really appreciate how easy it is to auto-scale recipes, keep track of inventory, and save presets. As someone pretty new to the hobby, Brewfather has been a really helpful tool to get going, and makes brewing even more fun. ✓ Love this app for brewing since it includes all the toolsThis app contains all of the tools needed for temp correction, water adjustments, yeast starters, etc. The connectivity allows us the freedom to rotate as needed during a brew day since everyone has the same timers and recipe on their phone. The only request I have for the developers would be to alert me after the brew day when a dry hop is needed or when fermentation is complete. Love the app and thankful for the community of brewers that continue to add recipes to the library..Version: 2.6.1

✓ A Home brewers necessityThis has got to be the best homebrewing software available. It is my go to recipe maker. Only drawback is it doesn’t link to a Grainfather via safari as it would be great using this to control my mash but also control my conical fermenter as well. ✓ Incredibly HelpfulI don’t think I have bothered to review an app before, but this one absolutely deserves its 5-stars. Being a relatively inexperienced all grain brewer, this has made the whole process of brew day incredibly smooth and also helped me start designing my own recipes. The included calculators/tools, ease of use to get water chemistry right, and the whole BJCP style guide being built right into the app are very impressive features. I’ve been recommending this app to everyone I know that also brews, and the $19.99/year subscription is an absolute bargain for what you are getting..Version: 2.8.0
✓ Really the best Homebrew appI’ve tried most of the brewing software apps/platforms out there. Every time I end up just going back to logging my brew days manually because the software was too cumbersome or didn’t make logical sense. This app has changed that. It is simple and intuitive. It has a great flow from recipe to batch, etc. it works well across all devices since it’s web based/app based. The only issue I run into is the app needs to be open to open on my phone to hear the timer notifications on brew day but this is an iOS limitation not the app. Highly recommended!.Version: 2.2.2

✓ ExcellentI started using Brewfather when I moved to all grain brewing over 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. There is a growing library of recipes to download from or you can easily create your own. You can log your ingredient inventory and import it into recipes. You can choose you equipment profile, add your water profile and the app tells you what to add to your water for the beer style you are brewing. Add to this the ability to track your fermentation progress using electronic hydrometers and you have the full package. ✓ Finally!I have used several brewing apps and most are very usable, but I constantly would have trouble with trying to calculate water adjustments based on my source water of either RO Water or Soft Water. Well with the Brewfather App that’s not a problem at all because the developer has included an “Easy Button” that will get you extremely close to what and how much minerals and/or salts you need to add according to the style you’re brewing. One of the major points that sold me on it is the ability to see my Tilts via mobile. The true cloud interface is also great, as I’ve had to switch devices in the middle of a brew. The free app would freeze, hang up and reset but was usable. After purchasing the full features, it seems to run perfect. Have access to many brew recipes and keeping stock of your ingredients makes this app a must if your moving up into all grain and or taking the next steps towards more complex beers.
