✓ It just worksOk so the Apple Watch is cool But one thing is it doesn’t have a video player at least not a very practical/accessible one The only way I’ve seen so far to play a video is one you get in a text basically meaning anything you wanted to play on your watch you’d have to send yourself (or have someone else send it to you) So obviously that’s not a very fun to do every time you want to watch a video on your wrist So this app comes in for $2 and changes that You can even playback audio through the watch’s built in speakers something most apps refuse to do for some reason A few gripes I have though: You can’t download videos directly from the watch you gotta transfer them from your phone using the phone client There’s no fit to display option but there is a zoom option so if you want to watch a nice long movie on this thing for whatever reason you might want to get it in the correct aspect ratio or it’s gonna be rather unpleasant You can’t connect a media server to it So if you just wanna stream your stuff from your own home media connection You can’t really do that But other than those things this time is just a media player for your watch It’s basic, gets the job done and almost feels like what an official stock video player on Apple Watch would look like.Version: 4.0.0
✓ Full Length Movies With Iwatch 6I use the Videwatch app to add full length mp4 movies into my iWatch 6. The experts say it can’t be done.. Thats a lie..‘Oh yes it can be done folks! ‘ It’s easy and it plays as good as any high end media player for movies. My most recent movie on my iWatch 6 is Drop Dead Gorgeous... here is how... Copy your converted mp4 movie to iCloud Drive then sign out. Then Open files on iPhone: Tap the movie name in recents or in Browse and it will begin downloading into iPhone. Have your iWatch on charge : open the VideWatch app.... then leave to the side... Open Videwatch app on iPhone : tap the add file icon: Orange circle-white cross: Locate your movie file: Tap the movie to download and wait as it Downloads into the iPhone Videwatch App playlist screen. Its a mini blank screen. After a short time it will appear as a blue bar filling up.... As it does so, the same download will be mirrored on your iWatch screen...When completed... It’s now mirrored in perfect mp4 in your iPhone and iWatch apps.....Play from your iWatch and enjoy any films or tv series you care to add..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Best Watch Video App So FarThe only app that allows you to load videos from your phone to view on Apple Watch. I download full length YouTube videos and load them onto the watch for later. ✓ Love this app!There’s so many great things about this app. I must mention that I sometimes have problems with keeping the app open on my Apple Watch but I learned a way around it. The app will foreclose on its on. I also would love if the volume could be louder than the maximum amount. The audio is somewhat too low when watching videos on my Apple Watch. Other than those two things I love it!!! I’d definitely recommend buying this app. It’s worth it! Hoping the developers can fix the issues I mentioned, overall dope app. I have found ways around my issues but wish I didn’t have to in the first place..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Keep supporting thisJust noticed it hasn’t had an update in 8 months. It still works on my series 8, watchOS 10. I use it frequently to watch tv shows while I’m at work and can’t use my phone, gets me through the day as I just chuck my AirPods in and glimpse at the watch every now and then. I would love to see this app keep being supported, the only thing I want is for it to be easier to add videos to the watch. Sometimes it just gets stuck on a loading icon and I would like it to be more informative about the progress of the video being added, like letting me know a percentage or time remaining or something. ✓ Good little app for playing videosBeen looking for an app like this for a while and works great. Obviously a few minor restrictions on controls but that’s Apples limitation on the watch. A couple of suggestions that would really improve this for me 1. The ability to import files as per with the camera role, but using iCloud Drive 2. How do you delete videos? The ability to swipe and delete viewed files would be great. At the moment I have to delete from phone and watch and reinstall to delete files.
