✓ ConfusingConnecting hardware to this app is very confusing. It would be worth the price if included in the manual are wiring diagrams for different set ups. Sure I can sign up on discord and ask the community there. But at the same time it can’t be that hard to share this vital information with a few simple drawings in the manual. How does one turn the iPad into a looping station that gets the sounds from Logic Pro, for example?.BaszsluvrVersion: 1.1.17

✓ Huge frustration, gave upHours spent trying, without success, to get the ‘Tails’ option to work. Without it pads end suddenly and sound awful. Gave up. Apart from that, Loopy Pro is amazingly powerful and if you can manage without tails, or make it work, it will be very useful. ✓ Not sure what all the fuss is about…This app is basically useless for 2 reasons. 1) The metronome doesn’t work. At all. I’ve tried this on an iPhone11 and an iPad Pro - no matter what metronome setting I use, I get neither visual nor audio count-in cues. I also tried to get the metronome to run and capture the output sound to a loop - but even that produced no audio output from the metronome. 2) Monitoring via airpods, the latency is ridiculous. Completely unusable… and given that I don’t own an iPad or iPhone with a 3.5mm stereo jack input, monitoring either the audio you create, or the metronome is impossible without an audio interface, a connection dock, or likely both. I had high hopes based on other reviews, and with the expectation I could look forward to a Mac version… but this seems like a total dud to me. If even the most basic requirements of metronome and monitoring are not met, I see no point in wasting any mor time (or money) on this. What a shame when it promises so much yet fails to deliver the fundamental basics… Maybe it only works on M1 devices. ✓ Game-breaking bugThis bug needs to be fixed ASAP; when the new update dropped, this bug didn’t apply to any new projects I did, but old projects I made before the update while I’m in the middle of playing the loops just… stopped playing audio! The audio completely cuts off and stays off even when I go to another project. It happens randomly when I tap on a clip or multiple clips that begin to play after a loop is finished. The remedy I had for it is restarting the app, but it still happens every single time. Please fix this. It gets more annoying the more its left unchecked. Now I understand their point of view. Loopy Pro literally won’t let me record audio or add midi loops without paying. No, I’m not rich, I don’t have money to throw around at an app I can’t even try before buying. I bet this app is actually decent, I just don’t have the money to take the risk and find out. I’ll continue to watch from the sidelines, seeing how development of this app goes, and hoping one day there might be a way to do something for free.
