But when you’re not allowed to play the game a couple of minutes without being barraged with countless ads, it ruins any aspect of fun you might have felt from the game. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t hate ads. I get it, you made a game, you want to make a little revenue from the game. But too many mass produced phone games are joyless cash grabs that have no real soul or care to the game that’s being made. If you’re going to make a game, make a game that you can work ads into in a smooth way that doesn’t destroy the interest in the game. These mass produced games aren’t meant to go the distance and be revolutionary, they’re solely meant to be downloaded for a couple of minutes up to an hour, have people watch ads until they’re tired of it and move on. As far as ads go, I don’t have a problem with a few ads, the developer needs to make money after all. The problem is how many ads you get, and how obtrusive they are. A full page offer will pop up saying “watch an ad, and we will give you a free thing in game. If you say yes, it obviously takes you to an ad, you watch the ad, and get your stuff, if you instead tap the “no thanks” option, it STILL takes you to an add. It’s just a slightly shorter ad. So they lie to you by pretending you have a choice in whether you watch an ad or not. You don’t. I don’t like being lied to.Version: 1.2.5
