✓ It’s just bad even without the adsI’ve seen ads for this game way too much and one day I just decided to try it out. I load in the game and surprisingly, there’s no ads. So I do the first level but it’s weird because the saw moves choppy so when I swipe up to get the saw out of the way it just goes through the sword. Then I get greater with an ad. Just don’t get it. The first thing the game even shows you is a way you can waste money. ✓ Why so many ads?This game is fun to play and can be used as a great time killer, but the ads just ruin the whole experience. When I was on the first level I saw that there were 3 things you had to do to make the sword, sharpen/shape the blade, polish it, and then cut some objects with it, seems easy right? Well although that’s true the ads make all those steps nearly impossible, so now that one sword you could’ve made in 2 seconds takes 15 minutes. If all they did was get rid of the multiple ads that show up on every microtransaction you tried to do this game would actually be fun. I find myself sliding the screen at a hair’s width from the blade no problem. That, and the cutting of things afterwards? Don’t make it a drag and slice. The movement is just straight up choppy and normally glitches your stone halfway into the sword, and there is some sort of invisible wall at the tip of every sword making it impossible to get a perfect cut. ✓ Games a money grabSo you see a lot of these games now a days.. Games where they have a cool little ad about a simple game. Very clearly targeted for younger kids. Games like this that have almost no content and are littered with ads so they make money. I really don’t like the business practice of making a game and putting a ton of ads on it at all. Like this game is so low effort that there aren’t even levels. The graphics are terrible, there’s no real goal, story, or content.. The controls are clunky it doesn’t feel nice to play and it doesn’t look good to play. Really it’s a failure of a game. The idea of carving whatever and the premise of what this could be is neat. It’s so clearly not meant to be a real game that people play for hours and hours for the story or missions. It’s just meant to be something you play with no internet or when you’re bored that you watch hundreds of ads because you just don’t care. ✓ Ads everywherePlaying this “game”, the first thing you will realize is how easy it is. Not that it’s a problem, but it makes it obvious that it’s geared towards kids. You need to intentionally try to cut into the blade to mess up. Again, this isn’t a problem. The problem begins however with the ads. Normally, you’d have an ad after a few levels. With this game, you’re served an ad after you flip the blade to cut the other side (about 10 seconds) another ad when you finish that side (another ten seconds) and another one when you cut whatever thing they put in front of you (yet another 10 seconds). You’re actually watching more ads than playing. It’s just too aggressive with them. Then the only option to get rid of it is a weekly payment. In all honesty, this game doesn’t deserve a weekly subscription. It’s poorly made and you’ll do everything in the game in about 20 minutes (if it weren’t for the ads.) My last complaint were the ads themselves. While this is an obviously a game for kids, the ads were rather inappropriate, calling attention to “the best weed farming game on the App Store”..Version: 1.5
