✓ WORST APP IN THE HISTORY OF APPSThis is one of THE worst apps I have ever used. It’s so crazy to me how it freezes and crashes when I’m simply trying to set it up. I bought a Popl tag months ago and I tried to use it and the app didn’t work then so I shoved it in the drawer for a while and decided to give it another chance today. Thinking it’s been a few months the bugs in the app should be fixed. Well it’s not at all! App still crashes when I am simply trying to set up the tag. I’ve tried to create an account and it froze halfway through then I came back in and tried to log in and it says it’s incorrect, tried to start an account it says I can’t because it already exists. SOOOO I reset the password and it STILL says the info is incorrect. In other words what a waste of time this thing is. If I could give it 0 stars I would!.Version: 4.1.7
✓ Doesn’t work on my new Nomad caseDoesn’t work on my new Nomad sport case for my iPhone 14 Pro. I’ve tried to contact Popl and Nomad but haven’t been able to speak to anyone yet. Fingers crossed someone will reply to my emails and calls and we can make this work..Version: 6.3
✓ 👎🏼no goodSo first of all I want to say this product is false advertising. I was pretty much sold a lie. This product didn’t work for me at all and I bought two. One for my boyfriends Galaxy phone and one for my iPhone. Needless to say they were a flop I was able to download the app but once I tried to get someone to connect with me through the link it would not. My boyfriend couldn’t even get his to work at all not even able to download the app. I reached out to see if we could get this fixed and they never replied back to me. Please beware that you’re taking a risk on this product and if it doesn’t work it’s not returnable. Also they don’t tell you but if you want the cool features on their add you’ll have to pay 💰 $$$ extra🙄👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Don’t buy.Version: 4.2.2

✓ Terrible app | Full of bugsI bought the pool stickers and updated my whole information on it. It worked correctly for a few days. Then the app stopped working snd all my details are gone. I tried updating them again but the app keeps crashing and it doesn't allow me to add any information. And when i tap on the popl sticker, the information comes up as blank. If i could, i would rate this app with zero stars..Version: 4.1

✓ Bit annoyingBit annoying that after buying what really is just an over priced NFC tag that you have to pay for popl pro. At least make it a one off payment..Version: 3.1.1
✓ Basic things wrongNotably the DOB field. Date saved is -1 day from the date selected. I have to choose the wrong date to get it to save the correct date. Additionally the formatting is stuck in the incorrect backwards US format [mmddyy] rather than the normal [ddmmyy] that the rest of the western world uses..Version: 4.0
✓ SubscribtionIt doesn’t tell you until you’re ready to go, but it’s a rolling subscription for using your own phone as a NFC device….shame it wasn’t up front about payment terms-I wouldn’t have downloaded it.Version: 6
✓ Not as good as they market it to be.When you watch the videos and view the marketing they make it look like it’s a simple easy solution. It is not tough to set up, and it only works on basic level sending them to Popl website and a link with your info. Business cards are simpler then the app. I have not tried the pro version to be able to rate. After having to spend money to get the dot to make it work was very disappointed with it. Not going to spend more money with them if the first step to use the product is that hard and cost money. Stick with business cards you will better off. ✓ DisappointedAfter being shown this product by a client (I’m a hairstylist) I was ecstatic about it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a new gadget that would bring in business! I set up an account and couldn’t wait to set up my profile… well since having the app I can’t log in… I bought two bracelets at $25 a piece and neither will connect or activate… paid two activation fees and pay by the week for something I can’t use! I’ve emailed and tried to contact the company to no avail. I was pretty excited about this gadget and it’s been a waste of money. I’m pretty disappointed with this because it was such a dope way to get your business out when you don’t have a business card on hand to give someone. Ughhhhh.Version: 4.1.7
✓ Terrible response timeI referred my mother to this company and she ordered her product over a week ago and still has not received it, when she reached out to customer service, they told her they lost the order and they couldn’t find it but once they located the package, she was able to receive it only to open the watch band and it was defected. Now she is waiting on a response from customer service for a replacement van, but they keep going back-and-forth with just giving her a full refund as if she doesn’t still want the product. It’s for her business. It’s very convenient and it is frustrating no one is able to make the process smoother especially after waiting so long just to receive a damaged product.Version: 6.3
✓ Bad advertisingAfter watching an ad for this product it seemed anyone could just walk up and scan your Popl and get your info... a touch less business card... except that’s not how it works. If I knew this product was only compatible with the app, there’s no way I would have bought this. I did this to avoid germs, minimize waste, and minimize my time spent speaking to others for longer then necessary amidst a global pandemic, just to find out that I now need to stand there for an additional amount of time, feeling like I am a brand representative for popl, but I am not, I am a unsatisfied customer. In your branding you should disclose that it’s an app based product, and maybe market toward your community “social media” side of this company to get people on your app BEFORE you sell a product that you must be on that app for in the first place. This may help you so you’re not left with a heap of people annoyed that your product is sub-par, app based and faulty..Version: 2.8.5

✓ Very glitchyNot a great first impression. Downloaded the app and so far it’s been very glitchy, clunky and keeps refusing to action tasks. I have downloaded a few apps of this nature and the others have been seamless…. Kind of makes the decision for me really.Version: 5.5.2
✓ Constant notification pop-ups with annoying noiseThis constant notification pop up even when you silence your phone, the noise you can still hear and it’s constant all day all night long. I cannot deactivate it unless I remove the whole app from my phone that defeats the purpose of even having the program on my device it’s a waste of money. I am so disappointed. I love having the ability for people to tap their phone and get all my information, it’s wonderful. Everything just pops up on their phones but this annoying notification that I cannot activate is nerve-racking if that could be removed and stopped I would love it I could give better stars I’ve never given a one star for anything..Version: 6.6.1
