✓ Pretty good besides miscommunicationHonestly the app is pretty good, there were a few times where it wouldn't block anything, but I soon realized I just needed to update it. But, around 2 days ago it said my subscription ended on my ipad? I wasn't aware that I was even on a subscription , it was fine on my phone until today. It said the same thing. I wasn't aware I was even on a free trial. I just wish that I could've had a warning that I was on a free trial. I would have no problem paying for it but I can't at the moment so suddenly seeing I couldn't use one of my favorite free ad blockers was pretty surprising..Version: 6.0.1
✓ Minor IssueI use this to block ads on Crunchyroll since their ads are long and it works perfectly although there was time it didn’t work; I was able to to fix that though so it’s not an issue! Anyway this is the first app to actually work for me and it’s great since it also has a VPN installed! Edit: So I still use this as blocker for crunchyroll and i’ve been having a really annoying problem. Ever time it blocks an ad it immediately takes me like 10 minutes before the ad started and i have to go back in and skip past all of that since i would have already watched that part of the video. I really like this app and i would hate to remove it off my phone; please fix this issue as soon as you can!.Version: 5.18

✓ Really goodEither this was a glitch or Blokada was free until now but, it’s still really great. I was able to watch Funimation and Crunchyroll without seeing ads(witch is perfect for watching a show when it has ads in it)anyways, since I don’t have money(because im 13) I won’t be using it anymore because it isn’t free. But it also blocks ads on the internet(which it should) but, it doesn’t block ads on YouTube(sadly). Also, if play games that have ads like every 5 minutes *cough*mobile games*cough* blockada blocks those ads too, and this concludes my review..Version: 6.0.1

✓ Can’t believe it works!This might be my first review of an app, but I had to echo everyone else and say this thing works. I have a kid who plays some game appps, and those ads were getting so ridiculous. I would be fine paying for games, but many don’t even bother and just want ad revenue. After researching, Blokada, came up a lot, and I figured I had nothing to lose, but I still wasn’t sure if it would work. Downloaded, and added all the options for block lists in the advance section, and they was it. my kid was able to play his games without stopping every 30 seconds. I can’t believe that level of ad blocking is free. Can’t thank you guys enough!.Version: 5.14

✓ REALLY GOOD…. until the free version runs out.I 100% recommended blockada to anyone who needs to block ads and I’m not saying it’s a bad ad blocker, but once the free trial runs out it becomes completely useless unless you pay of course. I used blockada for streaming anime and it made the experience so much more enjoyable but once the trial ran out it got very annoying… I understand that making the whole app is impossible and the company needs revenue but maybe there could be a feature were we can watch in-app-ads to get ad block time? Maybe like every ad is worth 10-25 minutes of ad block time? So to wrap it it… Overall, blockada is a great app and I recommend getting it. But once your done with your built in free trial, unless you pay the purpose of the app is gone. So again my recommendation is suggesting that people can still have the adblocker for “free” but the company still gets income..Version: 6.0.1

✓ Work Perfectly, But Good Things Aren’t FreeA friend recommended this to me while we were watching Demon Slayer on a Discord call and told me how Blokada would take away the annoying ads from Crunchyroll. Not only did it skip the 1 minute ads, I noticed that I wasn’t getting any pop-up ads from mobile games. It worked perfectly. The ad blocker had no downsides itself, but soon turned off after a month of usage. ✓ Amazing, but some bugs!Hello, I just want to say that this app is absolutely AMAZING 😻 I used this app in the past which was like a month ago but after a few weeks my phone kept on lagging so I had to delete this and re install it :( but, I heard this helps for blocking ads on crunchyroll, I’ll go look at that soon! ✓ Stopped workingUPDATE: App started working again. I am hopeful it continues to. It worked great blocking ads, allowing one or two to slip in occasionally. But after approx 3 months but it has stopped blocking ads. Everything gets in! Customer support is non existent. Some robo chat that apparently accepts only certain type of questions. Help in blocking ads is not one of them. A friend upgraded to the PAY version and she is bombarded with ads. What’s up?.Version: 5.10.1

✓ Used to be greatI want to start this review off by saying that I have been using this app for a few months and it has worked perfectly. I used it for Crunchyroll and I got no ads. But recently I started noticing I kept getting a bunch of ads on everything, when I went to go check the app it said that it was disabled and when I tried to turn it back on it said that my subscription ran out even though I didn’t have premium and now every time I try to use it it says that I need to renew my subscription. ✓ Almost perfectI’ve used lockdown, fyde and now I’m trying Blokada. From what I’ve experienced there are a handful of things Blokada could add to their app to make it perfect. 1. Add an option to block allowed hosts directly from activity view. 2. Add the ability to add a list of multiple hosts to block. 3. This is more of an aesthetic improvement but what I really liked in fyde is it would show you a line graph of the allowed and blocked connections for different time frames such as allowed and blocked connections in one day, one week, one month and all time. If these features get added to Blokada this will be the best ad and tracking blocking app out of all of them..Version: 5.0.0

✓ Served it’s purpose.I’ve had this app to use not only for Crunchyroll but other apps. It worked fine for a long time until it stopped working totally. I open the app, see what’s up and then it’s talking about “free trial is expired for blockada plus” and I’m over here wondering why it says that when I’ve never spent money on the app. Then I concluded that I assume for the time that it was free, it was a free trial? ✓ Um the app is good but?When I activated this and pressed the block button there were ten times as more ads, and the list shows how much stuff was blocked which were unknown sites, so I looked the sites up and it gives me an error so I’m kinda confused. ✓ Amazing until it was no longer free.The adblocker served me for years until the latest update, which makes you pay. From looking at the developer responses apple had an update where it made the old method, which was free, unusable, forcing all the adblockers to use a cloud version which costs money so that’s why you need to pay. However, I think there’s one feature missing from making this 5 stars from a usability standpoint: filter by manually allowed. There are times where the blocking is too strict and I want to override the settings. But I run into an issue where the allowed header/domain isn’t the right one so I want to undo what I allowed. There isn’t a filter for what I allowed. “Allowed only” filters for all headers that are allowed. Not the ones manually allowed..Version: 5.10.0

✓ Wonderful app with very few drawbacksPositive-seems to be an app that does what it says it does, without much of the sales lingo that sounds fancy but adds nothing. It works across many apps used, and I would recommend it for Most people. Negative-there seem to be a few false positives/unintended legitimate services blocked, which I understand is hard to be perfect about. If a site or service or app doesn’t seem to connect, temporarily disabling or turning off the feature seems to fix the issue. The negatives are the only reason this isn’t a 5 star app for me.
