✓ Gets better and betterI downloaded this early on in its development and it was so bad that I took it off my watch. It took too long to wake the car and was unreliable. A few months later I tried it again and it was marginally better. But the updates kept coming and it steadily became more reliable with shorter lags. It’s now a truly practical and useful watch app. The developer is doing a lot of work on this and it shows. This will soon become a go-to app and it’s exceptionally competitively priced. ✓ The reason I wear my Apple Watch all the time!I was worried about the security using a third party application till I learned that using authentication method called token is 100% safe. I was confused at the beginning but the setup was easy, after I downloaded Watchla I downloaded a free app called Authla, this app takes me to the official Tesla website where I log in, and than I can see two large passwords and those are the tokens what I just had to copy and paste in Watchla. It’s magical to have the ability to open the car open the trunk and the frunk, and also use Siri for voice commands. I am also glad that this app is working on my Series 2 watch so I did not have to upgrade because the other watch up was not working on 2nd gen watches, the price was around £4 so it’s another point to use this one. I am glad to try this out, because this is the main reason I am using my watch not just in the gym but all the time. One thing I don’t use is the start to drive function, that option requires me my Tesla password and not using the token, so I don’t think it’s safe but I might just paranoid. It’s a must have app if you own a Tesla, because it’s also a bailout in situations when you leave your phone in the car and you don’t have the key fob with you or you leave the key fob in the car and your phone is blocking the signal! It happened with me before!😉 I use Watchla for two month now and it never let me down! It it’s not working fast it’s because there are network issues in the area, but it’s always works for me. I hope this review helps you to decide to get this app, don’t worry you won’t feel bad about it if you give a try, it’s safe!.Version: 2.98

I just bought this app and installed it and followed all the instructions. The watch app doesn’t connect. The price point is also reasonable compared to the alternatives. One thing I suggest improving on is the latency waking the vehicle over Bluetooth. There is a 5-10 sec lag compared to waking the vehicle via iPhone. I suppose this is due to Apple Watch saving energy and this app trying to reduce BLE polling. I originally could do everything but drive the car. The app developer contacted me directly and made suggestions that enabled me to complete the process. ✓ Amazing App!This watch app works really well once you’ve got it set up as a key in your car. I can now walk up to the car and open the door without my phone which is quite useful if you happen to leave the phone in the house for any reason and maybe need to open the trunk or frunk. There’s also a whole load of Siri commands which it does from the watch (or phone) and these can be customised to your own phrase. I especially liked being able to customise the 5 icons on the watch app for controlling functions like switching on Sentry mode etc. Lots of added functions for watch faces as well that have several complications. ✓ Apple Watch as a fob and control for your Tesla without the high priceI was looking at another Apple Watch app to control my Tesla. I often go to the car and don’t always have my phone on me. The price of the competitor app put me off a bit. Not only does Watchla allow me to access my Tesla, I can drive with my watch with only Bluetooth enabled. As an added bonus, I can also set up charging, climate, open the trunk and frunk, enable and disable dog mode and more. Much cheaper than getting another Tesla key card or fob. Looking forward to setting up Siri to access for functions. Caveat: according to Watchla website “ In general, it is believed that all Model 3 and Y vehicles are compatible and all refreshed 2021 and later Model S and X vehicles are compatible as well.”.Version: 3.01

✓ No more worriesI was about to buy a Tesla key (for £170) as I was concerned about my phone running out of battery (or being left behind). It took a few mins to download and set up the app to register my watch as a new key. I then left my phone behind, touched nothing on the watch or phone and walked up to the car. Door opening as if I had my phone with me. Yah! The other features are great - especially charge port opening. I had no intention of using the rest of the features, but I now have my mileage as a complication on my watch which is really useful. Tapping on that then opens up all of the other features.
