Would Not RecommendPogo is a pretty cool app that tracks purchases so you can earn points from the purchases you make. On the other hand, it takes a while for these points to accumulate to anything worthwhile. I have had the app for just about 3-4 months now and I haven't even accumulated 1,000 points yet, which only accumulates to $1 in real money.. The worst part about Pogo is after a little while, Pogo requires you to take short surveys before you can collect the points you have rightfully earned from shopping. May not sound too bad but these short surveys require very intimate information about your household, demographics, and lifestyle choices - which makes me uncomfortable. For that reason, I do not recommend Pogo..Version: 2.47

/MOSTLY/ good so far, but...I get the surveys being the big earner. What baffles me is receipts vs. transactions with your linked accounts. You get more points from receipts then you do from transactions which seems to fly in the face of the point of the app. 10pnts for any receipt I scan, but only 8pnts for a $60 bill? Come on! Meanwhile it says linked receipts over $10 get you 20pnts, but I have yet to get more then 10pnts for any receipt scanned. Perhaps most frustrating, I cannot link Cash App even though it uses Plaid because there is no manual linking option. Cash App doesn't have log in information with the bank it uses as I understand, but you CAN link to Plaid manually with your routing information. The option is not available at all through Plaid in Pogo however. Enough of my spending is through Cash App to make this have a HUGE impact on my earning through Pogo. I'd also really like if a future update would allow cash out to Cash App..Version: 2.43

Love the app if all the features workedI love the app I just wish you would get all the features working. I claim location rewards daily but the last time that it actually gave me the points for it was August 11 I get 3 to 4 location rewards a day that’s a lot of points that I’ve been cheated out of because I never credits to my account I have emails customer service multiple times and I’ve gotten credit for one or two I’ve sent screenshots of four location rewards that I claimed in one day the time that I got them, what location reward it was for showing the claiming of the points and showing the screen did the points were never awarded I never heard back from customer service. I really wish you would get this app fixed..Version: 2.62

READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE APPI download the app and everything seems normal until it says it wants to know some stuff to maximize my income from the app, I want you to tell me how telling you I have a car or not is going to help me, or how many people live in my house, or how much I make, none of this you should be giving out to strangers, if anything it just sounds like you wanna rob me considering I also had to put in my address, I’m not a idiot and put in everything wrong put the second it wanted my credit card info, I knew something doesn’t feel right, so I deleted the app immediately, I don’t trust the thing and neither should you guys.Version: 2.52

Sketchy Data BreachI opened my app one morning logged into someone else’s account and I was able to see the bank they were linked up to, all their purchases. And their e-mail and phone number. I logged out of their account tried to log back into mine and it said I had the wrong password. I reset my password which went to my correct email and when I did at first they told me I needed a different password because the one I entered was found in a DATA BREACH. I then reset my password linked up to my email to something else and went to log back into the app. After successfully changing my password it still said I had the wrong password when trying to log back in.... still no idea how to get Into my account snd make sure all my bank data is DELETED..Version: 1.39

Bad surveys with BitLabsOverall I would give POGO 15 out of 5 stars. The surveys to a bit of time to make money ($1=1000 points). When doing surveys using TapResearch i have a good chance of getting the surveys completed and compensated. However I just did 23 surveys using the BitLab survey (within POGO and was only compensated for 1 of them. This was the “excuse” I got. I am calling BullSpit on that. We're sorry, but this researcher seems to be looking for very specific target audience. Pro Tip: We’re just getting to know you! it is normal to be disqualified from your first 3-5 surveys. This will improve with every survey you take..Version: 3.13

BEWARE!! RED FLAG!! Not certain of app’s legitimacy and privacyAs soon as I started signing up, the app asked for my banking PASSWORDS - yes, actual banking passwords - the same info you would sign into your own online banking with. NO!!! That should be a huge RED FLAG to anyone thinking about using this app. You don’t need my passwords to connect to my bank account!!! If I were to do that, it would allow for the app developers (and anyone else) to access my personal banking account, using my information to steal every cent I have. Asking for a debit card number to link is bad enough - but is what this app SHOULD ask for instead of asking for PRIVATE passwords. At least with linking a debit card I can report unauthorized activity if anyone did try to steal my money (a debit card is ALL this app needs to ask for). I have signed up for other shopping rewards similar to this app and NEVER - NEVER - NEVER have I been asked to enter my PASSWORDS to my online banking account. Maybe others have successfully used this app, but for the reasons above, I will not be taking any chances..Version: 2.8

Keeping it realI can’t even give a review on their services fully because they don’t work with any of my banks. I use Apple Cash/sutter bank, golden 1 and cash app. They have banks that almost no one uses due to the fact they are reserved for certain demographics. They need to offer those services because they are used the most. Although cash is hard to get in touch with in my experience there are two other banks people use that I mentioned. They should also allow you to scan receipts 🧾 That would allow more people to be able to earn cash back while they wait for the developers to add their banking institution. Good..But..Edit: Just cashed out at $3 and deleted the app. I had the app for about 2 months and made $3. Not worth it to me. But may be to you. Usually I’m a person that is like “but $3 bucks is more than I had 2 seconds ago..” and while that’s true.. I had to work super for it in the amount of 2 months when I can do the same thing on IBD for less time. Just not worth it to me. Original review: It’s a good app.. and yes you actually earn $$ but.. not a lot. You can scan literally ANY receipt and get points for it that will turn into money. In about 1 1/2 months, I’ve received 2,400+ points which equals out to $2.40 something. I’m cashing out at $3 and deleting the app because it’s not efficient enough for me. Receipts okFor the whole month I’ve been scanning receipts, using my card to sync purchases, referred someone, synced my email and other stores. Every day my email had no problem synching or collecting points every week, the day I supposed to get the points for linking email, out of nowhere it can sync, log me out and never got my supposed points. I’ve never received fees from the bank. And never got my points for downloading the extension on my computer. Don’t waste your time, this is like those games tricking you to play and you earn money. The only thing you get it is the receipts you scan and for the whole month I only got 3$. Not wasting my time..Version: 3.8

Decided to deleteI downloaded this app and went through the sign up process but stopped at the point where I had no choice but to enter my bank info and password. I decided to delete. No one needs access to my banking info other than me. Sorry, but it’s not worth the risk. Plus after reading a review from this past May where someone said they logged on and someone else’s account popped up and they couldn’t get into their own account really made me NOT want to complete the sign up process. Joke appIf you do NOT value your privacy this app is for you. If you attempt to protect yourself they prevent you/us from earning max rewards. We are FORCED to link your bank and credit cards, FORCED to give permission for our data to be used for advertising on other sites (without residual income for the advertisements being ran), and if you want do NOT want to link your cards, but use receipts then again you are FORCED to turn on data dividends or you cannot not earn anything. They say along the lines of: we do not earn if you do not earn (paraphrasing). So if you do not agree with data dividends (where we allow them to take our personal information and sell it) then no money for you/us. Me ranting this is NOT what they outright say! (However we will still access all your information that is allowed as we pay off Apple to give us information so we can still sell it and make money off you without having to share it with you). Missing points!!Everything was going smooth. Now out of no where its not giving my points that im missing from the family island. Im missing $7.25 in total from that app. They are accusing me of having a vpn on! When i don’t. I sent screenshot that i got to level 20 an didn’t receive my points. Im still playing to get to the level 30 as promised for the $9. It took about a week to hear from someone. Then another 2 weeks to get told are you opening the app 1st then opening the game through the app! Which i am. How else would of made it that far in a game. They are saying they dont see anything on my account. An at this point for false advertising i may take legal action. Since im being called a liar. No one wants to help me. My review gets deleted off from the app store. No one is doing a thing about helping me. They are just saying they arent seeing it on their end. That i may have a vpn on or that im not using the app to open my games. Legal action may be taken since this is false advertising. Sure it paid out a few times. Now all of a sudden it dont want to pay out anymore an they can’t see anything on their end. Hmmmmm🤔🤔 seems fishy. Family island isnt the only game that didnt pay me out. Good Luck Linking WalmartUPDATE: Pogo sent me a developer response with the claim, "The 'resolution' is being triggered by clicking on a recommended article[,] so it is not getting to a representative." Do you know how I know that is false? I received an email for each time that my follow-up support requests were merged and closed, and guess how that happened: the update was attached to a real person named "PJ" with "Pogo" in parentheses. I feel secondhand embarrassment for Pogo. Why is Pogo making up lies to cover up for poor customer service? Pogo cannot even own up to its mistakes. Beware Pogo when it comes to customer service. This is not only unprofessional but disrespectful! I cannot link my Walmart account to my Pogo account. When attempting to link my Walmart account, I am indefinitely left on a loading screen. I have tried waiting over fifteen (15) minutes to no avail. I contacted Pogo support about the issue, and each of my support requests keeps getting marked as solved with no responses. This is very unprofessional on Pogo's behalf. I do not understand why this issue is unaddressed. In the article "How do I link a retailer account," I was able to find three (3) other Pogo users who have experienced the same glitch as me. Pogo really needs to step it up. I do not understand its refusal to acknowledge such a fixable glitch..Version: 3.22

Do Not Download! It Tracks Your Info Long After Deactivation of the APPSo I downloaded this app a while back. Did everything you’re supposed to do to get points like down load receipts, shared all my info, checked into places and claimed the daily free points. I wound up earning $6 I believe in a decent amount of time. I was like this app ain’t so bad. So I went to cash out through PayPal. It gave me I believe the deposit date of the next day and low and behold no deposit. I emailed support and got a generic “looking into it” response and never heard anything back so I deleted and deactivated the app. This is where it gets creepy. I literally get notifications all the time saying like “you’ve earned points by going to Walgreens today”. I’m like yeah I was at Walgreens but you’re supposed to be deactivated. After months of this I go to log on thinking I must be earning some decent points. When I tried logging in it said that this account is deactivated and I need to email support. Okay so if the account is deactivated and I need to email support to re-activate it then why in the world is it still collecting my data and sends me 10 notifications a day telling me where I’ve been? I’m pretty sure it’s illegal without my permission. It’s a bummer because the app was easy to use and seemed fair. But after not getting my deposit and the thing still tracks me after I deactivated it I highly recommend not downloading it..Version: 3.3

Needs UpdatesAs mentioned earlier if it did published on review but had to re-clarify with our situation that it ain’t letting us log in to our accounts so we earn more with our claims which it doesn’t go up from 769 points which is $0.77 it ain’t fair to everyone we keep claiming but we ain’t earning as advertised are just scams with so much apps on App Store that don’t even function as it should is a bummer to everyone so unfair waste of time also energy we keep spending but we ain’t getting rewarded as should as advertised so please fix issues of app so we can actually claim points so it goes up as we actually earning so we can cash out to our PayPal or even bank account, thank you very much many issues in app that has to be updated.Version: 2.18

A few commentsI have to say so far i am liking the app, but there is a couple of issues. 1 the accessibility. The accessibility is almost perfect, but when you want feedback on something the submit button is not there to submit your feedback! Also, it is doable to find the support and help button it would be a little bit easier when you double tap on support help it goes straight to it! 2 I wish the digital receipts would come a little bit faster. For example, I paid my phone bill back on Tuesday, and the receipt did not come in till Friday. Also I did a survey when I first downloaded the app which I believe was on Sunday, and that did not come in till today! That is why I’m giving this app a three star rating for now. HELPThe app was great and everything was going well, I’ve had it for a while. BUT recently the app, out of nowhere for seemingly no reason, logged me out. I have changed my phone number since I’ve had the app and it won’t allow me to log in with the new one to my old account, despite having the same email. I don’t have access to the original number. I thought I had changed my number for my account but I guess it didn’t save. For some stupid reason, there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact any kind of customer support outside of the app. The points have a time limit before they disappear, but it’s weird because I’m still getting notifications for when I earn points, although I can’t claim them. I can’t even delete the account if I wanted to because I can’t log in. My bank info is linked to that account and I don’t know any way to disconnect it or delete the account. There are better apps out thereIt’s fine. Pogo is pretty easy to use and I don’t have any issues with the app itself but it just takes so long to actually get enough points to cash out. I’ve been scanning receipts and trying to fill out surveys for months and I’m still slowly crawling my way to 5000 points. Most of the surveys tell me I’m not qualified which is pretty standard for any survey app. Admittedly, I don’t use every feature pogo has to offer so I may be missing out on a goldmine of points but it’s not worth the trouble for me..Version: 3.22

Could not cash out pointsI recently downloaded the Pogo app. When I reached a little over 5000 points, I decided to try to cash out to my Venmo account. This was before I read comments that there was a problem with Venmo. However I was assuming that was fixed. I tried to message customer service two times since then which was October 12 and I have yet to hear anything back from customer service whether they checked into why I have not gotten my big five dollars. They asked me for my PayPal handle but I did not receive it in PayPal either. I am wondering if I’m going to be totally ignored and lose my reward. This was supposed to be easier than taking pictures of receipts but when I cash in my points for the gift cards I get them immediately..Version: 2.8

False Advertising - I made less than $1 on this appThe ads keep saying people are making $10 right away on this app, which is false advertising. It will vary for each person, but when I first downloaded the app and added the tons of transactions I had, I still couldn’t even get enough points to make $1. It was a little over 40 cents, including the bonus points and survey points. What a scam. I’ll stick with my receipt apps, because I actually do make a lot more money with those. That’s why I don’t mind having to take a pic of each receipt and upload it to the app, because I’m making more than the few cents I’m getting every time I open Pogo and claim points. I really wanted to like this app, but because of the false advertising and it being too good to be true by being stingy and not rewarding enough points per transaction, I’m deleting this app. *update after developer response: I’ve used almost every reward app out there and I know how to maximize my points earnings, even on this app. After using it consistently, I stand by my original review, this app is not worth my time. Since my original review I’ve barely made over $2. I even spent a lot of money recently because of a huge family event, and this app hardly gave me anything back. Not worth itI started using this app about a year ago. I stopped for a few months & now that I’m using it again I definitely don’t recommend with this new update. I have to continuously email support about missing points, this new survey page they have Bitlabs is usually the surveys I don’t get my points for. I say here for an hour & all the surveys I tried to do would say I’m not qualified so I only get 7 points which doesn’t even add up to 7 cents. I use to have no problem with this app & now it’s nothing but problems & make it impossible to even reach $3 to cashout! It’s just ok….This app is a good way to passively earn a little (and truly it’s very little) amount of money. The speed at which your payout accumulates is glacially slow. However, you put next to no effort into it and so it’s whatever. It’s the “rewards” for extra tasks that are frustrating and, quite frankly, insulting of the users time and value being provided. Currently, the referral reward is “250 points for you & them!!”. People, this is a quarter. Their current payout for a recent survey I saw was 400 points (40 cents).. If they truly want more participation, they need to value their users time and data more appropriately..Version: 3.6

NOT FOR RURAL AREASI have used this app for about 5 months. Because I bank locally, Plaid doesn’t connect with my card which makes me lose oodles of points. I shop Walmart weekly but the app keeps telling me that my credentials don’t work. It worked a couple of times and suddenly quit. I disconnected and reconnected, then changed my password but still will not connect so again losing oodles of points. I can scan receipts, link a couple of credit cards and connect a few websites but most stores are not in my area. Way too much effort for such a small amount of savings. Not rewarding enoughI like that you get rewarded with tons of gift card options, but the last few week I’m barley getting any surveys/credit because for some reason I don’t know why and when I DO complete a survey I only get 7 points (which is only partially for trying and these surveys I try to do will be like 300 credits) or not even get credited all all and I’ve reported it multiple times and you need at least 3,000 points to cash out. Critical Reviews AccurateI read through reviews and found that the critical reviews stand true. I’ve only had the app a few days which is all I needed. Because it’s a new app to me I am extremely hesitant about linking many of my accounts. I tried to link just a few. My target account was successfully added. Yet when I did three more it claimed to be successful yet it showed an error and needed to be fixed. I tried three times with just one of those accounts and still showed error needs to be fixed. I’m sorry but it appears that all the critical reviews that state that they can’t get linked accounts to work, are true to the fact. If the app creators don’t listen to the people that have issues they will never be as successful as other apps I use. I also tried to get company to not sell my information. After clicking submit it never did anything, like a pop up saying request was successfully submitted. So I deleted my account information with hopes that I will never be bothered by them or whoever gets my information from them (even though I sign a do not sell). DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP BECAUSE OF ONGOING ISSUES THEY WON’T ADMIT TO HAVING!.Version: 3.23
