✓ Provides inconsistent resultsI took 5 pictures using their app and got 4 different results. I even took a picture of a picture and got two different results. How helpful is that? It provided almost every possible option as a result. I am an informed user as I am a physician myself (surgeon not dermatologist). Ultimately I had a real dermatologist look at it and they diagnosed it as one of the 4 that the app had provided. Not ready for prime time. Use with caution!.Version: 5.0.1

✓ Doesn’t have Regulatory ApprovalThis and other skin lesion analyzers on the App Store are FDA regulated medical devices. There are only 2 approved to be in the market, and this is not one of them! Their claimed performance numbers for melanoma (the most dangerous form of skin cancer) are not high enough to guarantee it won’t accidentally miss a melanoma! Days and weeks matter with melanoma! Ask Jimmy Buffet what happens when you don’t catch melanoma early enough..Version: 5.0.2

✓ Fake1st a spot was diagnosed as 99% positive for Basel cell carcinoma so I went to my dermatologist who told be the spot was not cancer but I requested she biopsy anyway. The rest came back as not cancer. I took a photo of the biopsy site and uploaded to this site and was told 89% positive the biopsy site was actually HPV! This app is a joke!!.Version: 3.3

✓ Not accurate at allI’ve had a horrible itchy rash all over my body for the past 2 years. I took a picture on this app and it said I had acne with a 91% accuracy which is ridiculous. The app Aysa is much better as it said it could be scabies (doctor thought it was this at first but ruled it out later) and prurigo nodularis (what I’m convinced I have after doing research). I believe Aysa is completely free too and asks about your other symptoms for more accuracy. I do think the other features are nice but not enough for me to keep using this. ✓ Completely missed correct diagnosis of Granuloma annularaI’ve had granuloma annulare for 20 years. I have seen several dermatologist and had biopsy’s done and they all come back with GA. This app did not diagnose GA but instead said it was lechen planus and benign nevus. I’ll ask my current Dermatologist but I think this app missed the correct diagnosis for me..Version: 5.0.1
