ICN Food List for Negative User Reviews

WoefulExtremely limited list. I should have read the reviews before buying..Version: 1.0.2

UpdatePlease make the list more thorough and make the search feature more robust to make the app worth it. Nice project, and I’m happy to chance my review if there is some attention given to this..Version: 1.0.2

Needs an updateYou should update with more foods & search place. You also should make it fit the iPhone5 screen..Version: 1.0.1

Can we trust it?It’s kind of hard to trust the app when they say “caution!” for pecans but then recommend KIND bars with pecans....Version: 1.0.2

Needs an update!I get an error message each time I try to open the four tiles- flare fighting foods, beer wine & spirits, how to use this list & about the ICN. In a flare it would be nice to be able to open the flare fighting foods section for a helpful review..Version: 1.0.1

Seriously? Seriously Cheesy!I can't believed I had to pay 99 cents for this app. Come on guys!.Version: 1.0.1

Needs revision and more featuresI wish there was more to this app. You’d think for the price there would be a more extensive list and other functions (food diary, recipes, and different types of lists of you have an additional allergy or sensitivity). Also it’s confusing because like it says I can eat things like pumpkin pie but when you look up the ingredients to pumpkin pie some aren’t safe. I have believed this app, ate something they said was safe, and then had a flare and ended up in pain!.Version: 1.0.2

Just use googleI’m kind of sorry I spent money on this app. It’s a nice list, but not at all exclusive. Chocolate is bad - what about white or macha chocolate? Molasses? It’s also VERY preachy about fat, sugar, artificial flavoring, etc. I honestly wonder if some foods are on the bad list not because they cause IC, but because the developers think they’re unhealthy. Arbitrary. I need an IC only guide. I already know dyed popsicles aren’t the best food choice..Version: 1.0.2

Not customizableI was very disappointed that for the price I couldn't at least customize which foods are in which category for me. All of us who have ic and know how to use the Internet at all can get this much info but to be able to "have tried it" and track the reaction would be much more useful. Every single ic patient reacts differently to any combination of foods you can think of. Personally I can eat some of the red caution foods and can't eat some of the so called "friendly food. I was diagnosed 3 years ago with multiple Hunner's lesions via cystoscope w/ hydrodistension..Version: 1.0.1

Sponsored appThis is worse than useless. You can’t scroll down to the last rollovers because of an ad (even though it’s a paid for app). Lots of contradictory entries for foods that on one hand are said to be ok and then listed again under ‘caution’. NHS portal has better information and is free..Version: 1.0.2

Needs updatedHalf the stuff don't work and it's really outdated. It would be nice if you could add notes.Version: 1.0.1

FoodThe app has great intentions but certainly does not have the variety of foods I was hoping for. Definitely falls short.......Version: 1.0.2

Only half worksWhile this app partially works it wasn't worth $.99. There are free lists on the web of foods to avoid and to enjoy. All of the buttons had the error "unable to read" - disappointing!.Version: 1.0.1

Updated 2012 List?I don't see any difference between what was on the old 2008 food list on the web site and this! You want a five star, earn it! You NEED to add a scan module that could be used 'live' while shopping to determine the safety of a food! Put it to use, flag it green for the safe list, or flag it red as a food not to buy. Then this app would be worth more than the PDF I already have on my device! Thanks!.Version: 1.0.0

Lists are contradicting!?The safe list has the same items on the avoid list?? How am I supposed to identify which is safe and which is not? Please can this be actioned. Thanks.Version: 1.0.1

BasicIt gives a basic list of what to avoid and what you can possibly try. Really short list and limited varieties. A ton of food items it doesn’t list so I don’t know if they are ok or not. Needs to expand so much but if you just start out with IC helps with basic food items..Version: 1.0.2

Very Disappointing! - Look Elsewhere! Are you kidding me? They couldn't get more specific? Under beverages "Juices" is in all three categories: "bladder friendly", "worth trying cautiously" and "foods to avoid". Hmmm, I wonder exactly how many juices there are…? Pear Juice is great but what else can I drink?? I hoped this would be good because it's from the Interstitial Cystitis Network!.Version: 1.0.1

UselessThis is simply a list of foods to try, to avoid, and that are ok. The problem-most foods are in all three lists. Additionally you can track anything. It is just 3 lists that aren't even helpful. I'd like my money back..Version: 1.0.2
