✓ Return trip from LisbonJust used this app to load; vaccination status, test certificate and locator form returning from Portugal back to UK. Accepted at the desk by BA staff and my whole check in process was less than 1 minute. The only problem was the other 200 passengers in front of me were not using the app and were totally unprepared and stressed out. As usual the worst part of travel is other passengers so just get the app it will improve over time and will definitely benefit all of us in the long run..Version: 1.1.2

✓ Decent serviceBack and forth to Spain was very smooth. Ok the parts involving VeriFLY were smooth. I never waited longer than 1.5 hours for any approval, vaccine card, test results etc. American Airlines agents like this-they just see your VeriFLY passes and you are through. I wouldn’t pay for the expedited approvals unless you are desperate to get something in like 15 minutes. As I said we never waited too long. Do it a day or two (depending on the country which VeriFLY has covered in the app)ahead of time and golden. counter approval is immediate as all your documents have been reviewed. One negative-VeriFLY doesn’t deal with recovery documents (a medical letter that says you already had Covid). I think you would still have to present that to a ticket agent. Odd that they don’t but that’s what I was told. Overall very useful.Version: 1.1.11

✓ It got betterWe were not too sure at first. It took a long time to load our vaccinations records to the site. Eventually came good by about 10 pm. So we were just a bit anxious as we were flying out the following morning. This being the reason I didn’t give full score. All went fine at the airport with the check in guy made good use of it at our check in and being pleased that have to through all the regular paperwork. ✓ VeriFLYToo all the folks that give it 1 star is because you submit your information probably in the last minute! This was the easiest and fastest way to go thru that line at the airport! Yes the process should begin 3 to 4 days before traveling back to the states. I did that exactly in that format. Once you uploaded your information and covid results the verification took 1 day after I uploaded the results! Once VeriFLY verified all the personal and covid results information, they give you the green check mark in your profile! I arrived at the Cancun airport and say about 300 in line waiting to be helped by their respectable airline agent. I approach an American Airlines agent and told her I have my VeriFLY pass and she looked at it and proceeded to let me and my family cut the line to the VeriFLY LINE. It was a simple process! ✓ No problems for meHave yet to upload the PCR result certificate but, contrary to all the negative reviews here, this whole process was completely easy. Not a single issue. Maybe if people upload certificates etc incorrectly there might be delays and issues. Unless there is an issue with the pcr certificate, I will leave this review as 5 stars. Regarding privacy. ✓ App does not accept compound Hispanic namesI tried to use this app several times to no avail. Deleted and reinstalled at least twice to no avail. I have a Hispanic compound name and the app states that my name is not valid, despite being well spelled as in my official papers. Wrote the name with a wrong spelling and it was accepted. Later, had issues with the PCR results that showed my name spelled right and the app didn’t accept it because of the different spelling on the app. Requested my name adjustment for the results and it was accepted! Then, American Airlines shows that my information on the app is not complete, despite the app stating that I am ready to fly after completing the required checklist. I reported the issue with my name about a month ago and still waiting to hear from them. Good idea that didn’t work when you need it. Very poor customer service (they never responded to my message or even recognized it)..Version: 1.1.4
✓ California DreamingFlew out of Heathrow on the 12th December after not seeing family for 2 years. It was extremely stressful getting all the paperwork, testing, etc in place but using VeriFLY made it all so simple. Whilst other people were panic stricken at check in, frantically searching for information, filling in forms, waiting for test results, I walked straight through a designated area, did a self service bag drop and through to security in less than 15 minutes. ✓ Worked PerfectlyAfter reading many negative reviews we did wonder how it was going to be . However after loading up photos, vaccines and covid results etc we were able to check in on our flight to USA with BA 24 hours before. At the airport we showed the app which was already downloaded so no need for internet Very very easy and quick. Then our flight home from Miami once we had uploaded our passenger locator form we were able to check in . The following day at the airport they very quickly and easily checked the details on the app for both myself and my husband again no need for internet Couldn’t have been easier.Version: 1.1.8
✓ For those who are able to use At Home Self administered RAT Test.It was a bit of an initial struggle…, this is a copy of the main instructions I received from VERIFLY. This is for only those who are able to use a Self Administered RAT test at home. Read the next paragraph carefully then it will be a breeze. If you have an at-home Covid test you have to place the test result on a piece of paper with the following information written on it. • Last Name • First Name • Date of Birth • Test Date • Test Result • Test Type Once you write this information on the paper, place the test result on it, take a picture and submit that picture in the app. Happy travels.Version: 1.4.0

✓ Persevere, it’s worth it!This app saves you lots of time at check-in I was sceptical as first time I used such an app (and first time travelling by air for a long time). It’s a bit of a pain uploading all the data, but at least you can do all that when it suits you, at your hotel/ by the pool/in the bar as you wish. I did it for myself and my wife and then at the airport check-in it literally just took seconds -you show your passport as usual then the completed page for each traveller in the app -done! Many other travellers were having their documents checked manually at check-in and it took ages! Do yourself a favour and use this if you are flying with an airline supported, and I’m sure they will add more. Only reason 4 not 5 stars: it could be better to create your trip, upload docs (all on a mobile, so taking pictures sometimes required screenshots etc) but in my opinion it was definitely worth it for time saved at airport!.Version: 1.1.2
✓ Much better than expectedFelt compelled to write this as I read these reviews and had such low expectations for this app. Like many others, we got asked with British Airways to upload our travel documents via this app (however, it said not mandatory). I uploaded our vaccination, test certificates and passenger locator form and had the test approved in under a minute. Shame the BA counter wasn’t really interested in the travel pass provided by the app, but that’s not the apps fault :-).Version: 1.1.4
✓ Simple to use if you follow the instructions!Lets start with the first thing, not all airports and therefore not all flights support the use of this app, this doesn’t mean the app is at fault it simply means it’s not currently supported. Our outbound airport and flight was supported and to be honest after reading these reviews I was dubious, but I didn’t need to be. Installed the app, opened and found the trip, added myself and my partner very easily, added the flight details and passenger information then had to upload the PCR certs, easy to upload and less than 4 hours later they were approved and we had green ticks ready to go. Got to Gatwick, went to the BA check-in desks to find a huge queue, the Verifly desks had no queue. We were asked for our passports and asked to see the passes generated on the app and that was it, bags on belt and boarding passes issued. Simple, quick and very straight forward. Our return airport didn’t support the app so had to produce all the paper copies of the relevant documents, in all fairness if supported and we’d used the app it would have cut the desk time in half..Version: 1.1.2

✓ Made for smooth travel for usAlthough I was skeptical based on other reviews, I downloaded app on USA side before a trip to Caribbean on American Airlines. I made sure to get our family of four Covid tests in the exact same names as on airline tickets (I think this has snagged some folks’ test verification). I uploaded everything and within an hour, VeriFLY was approved and I was able to get boarding passes. Checked in at airport with no problem. So glad I did this, because on Caribbean side, it was easy to use the existing passenger profiles to upload the negative covid tests at hotel. Took five minutes. We were all approved within an hour and I could again get boarding passes for trip home. At airport in Caribbean, this allowed us to bypass the check in line and use automatic check in of our luggage to proceed to customs. So you don’t HAVE to have VeriFLY to fly - you can definitely wait in line and show paper copies of everything to desk attendants. But using the app lets American know you are good to go and you can check in to your flight ahead of time. Just one less thing to worry about..Version: 1.1.2
✓ ConvenientWill be convenient as long as is honoured at the airport and don’t have to show all documents again. Hope the app is developed further as we spent a lot of time inputting all data but when tried to transfer to another mobile, lost everything. Ended up doing this few times due to various reasons. Not very pleasant wasting hours when on holiday especially trying to get WiFi in restaurants and shops. The whole point of having a login is that data will be saved !! ✓ Makes travel so much easierNo idea what everyone is complaining about, this app made our trip to Antigua so much simpler with Covid documentation. I see lots of comments about how many airlines and destinations aren’t supported - if those people had taken the time to read what VeriFLY is for you’d see that only BA and AA use VeriFLY and only certain destinations accept it, that’s not the app’s fault, that’s the fault of other airlines for not using it. We uploaded our PCR tests the required four days before departure and within minutes they were evaluated and accepted, giving us the piece of mind that we had all to documentation needed to fly. Then, at Gatwick, we skipped the enormous baggage drop queue and went into a VeriFLY lane and had our bags dropped and boarding passes in our hands within 15 minutes of entering the airport. Couldn’t have been easier. On the way back, the desk in Antigua asked specifically to see our VeriFLY app to check in so it was actually a requirement to check in and again, made life simpler as they just ask to see that VeriFLY has validated everything and you’re good to go. ✓ Just BrilliantBA suggested we download this for our trip from Heathrow to Denver. Took a couple of minutes to set up, and just had to wait for the negative covid test before we could start loading everything. Simple to use. Easy to see what you need to do next. Shows status on front screen when all completed. Took all of 3 seconds to be checked & confirmed at Heathrow, so check in process was super quick. Wise to have paper copies in bag just in case (I’m a belt and braces person) but all went smoothly. I’ll write an update if the return leg is an issue..Version: 1.1.9
✓ Pleasantly surprisedCould this be more seamless? Yes. But it worked for my flight from UK to US. It took about two hours to verify my COVID test after I put it in which wasn’t bad. The longest wait was for it to sync with BA (overnight) so I could check in and get my seat. At the airport (Heathrow) I just had to have the VeriFLY app, my boarding pass, and passport. So, in spite of all the hiccups described by others, I would recommend getting it done if you’re flying British airways and they text you to check in on this app. I can see how it would be stressful if your Covid test comes in late, but it seems like the airport and VeriFLY are working to get things better going. Also, I didn’t have the paper printed COVID test result as I received the result digitally and I’m not over the age of 60 and/or having thousands of dollars in my budget for printer ink. ✓ Very disappointedI am very very disappointed with this app and inability to verify information after it’s been submitted multiple times and then the fact that the airline is not willing to allow you to check in due to the lack of verification from the app they chose to. I just try using the app again and it doesn’t work they need to re-look at the document verification format as it’s not accepting Covid test results and Covid vaccination cards that have been issued by the state. This is embarrassing because American Airlines should have an app that supports all types of documents that are given by all the states including international documents are uploaded in digital format..Version: 1.1.6

✓ Pleasantly surprisedI had read all the comments saying it was useless and did not have any functionality and I was dreading it, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. The app told me what I needed to do before flying, and I simply followed the instructions. You have to scan a couple of barcodes, so if the codes are on your phone, it might be best to have someone take a picture of it. Then you can then finally scan it yourself. Only suggestion would be to do everything it says on the app at least 20-24 hours before, or give yourself at least some time to do it so you won’t stress. Just because it can be a little time consuming. Overall very happy with how well it helped me get sorted. ✓ Seemples!I was a tad sceptical about using this app at the outset however having now used it I would certainly recommend its use. I suppose it can never be assumed that everyone’s has access to mobile devices but if you can use one VeriFLY is straightforward and easy to use at the airport. It literally took us under 5 minutes to check in using VeriFLY to show proof of vaccine & tests. I do feel the instructions on data input or rather when you should could have been better but having gone through the process I’m better prepared for next - hope I don’t have to though bearing in mind why it was introduced..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Has worked great for me entering Spain and the USI used VeriFLY in September returning to the US from Greece and this week flying from the US to Spain. Both flights were with American Airlines. I’ve also received approval through VeriFLY to enter Malta on a Vueling Airlines flight from Spain. I haven’t had any problems and received final approval within hours of submitting the required documents each time. Spain requires submission of an electronic form within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival so you can’t get approval to enter the country more than two days in advance. Malta requires a similar process but you can get approval at least a week in advance. Maybe much more in advance. I don’t recall the rules for Malta but I know they’ll approve entry at least a week in advance. For the US you need a negative COVID test within 72 hours of your departure flight before you can get approval through VeriFLY..Version: 1.1.8
