✓ UpsetIt is a great idea for an app and there is nothing more that I want to do except use this app. I have become anxious and short tempered over many aspects in my life recently. I am giving this app a three star rating because I adore the idea of this app. I would have given it five stars but I find it absolutely ridiculous that there is not a free version of this app. This irritates me because the developers of this app rave about the many benefits of this app and how it will help mothers and fathers on many levels. It is outlandish that the developers have somehow boxed this help into this crate that is only available for a monthly or yearly price. Hello! Motherhood has happened to many people across all different stages of monetary differences. I find it hardening to find an app with developers so kind and thoughtful and helpful only to realize, they only want to help if you give them money—and not only a one time offer, a yearly or monthly offer. This is what the world has come to—people who have figured out that society can be toyed with by the use of colorful language to entice them with the much deserved help they need only to strip every penny their victim has..Version: 1.1.8
✓ Charged when said it was freeI signed up for a 30 day free trial on 7/18 and they charged me instead! Avoid!!! I read it several times before signing up to make sure I wouldn’t be charged and they still charged me. Back story: I used this once before and was looking to see if they magically lowered their prices and when it offered another 30 days I jumped on it. Total scam. It’s a shame because I really like the service the app provides but most moms can’t afford $15 subscription service especially with inflation going through the roof everywhere. It’s worse when they’re tricked into paying for something. Update: the developer claims I said they offered a “60 day free trial”. I never said that. I was offered 30 days for free when I went to check out pricing….that’s why I signed up!!! Own up to your false advertising or glitchy app instead of putting words into my mouth. I would not have signed up again for a ridiculous price of $15 a month but would def seize another 30 day trial… After seeing how ridiculous these people are and their failure to own their falsehoods…I will never be a return customer and will never recommend them to anyone. ✓ Requires paid subscription to use- don’t sign up unless willing to pay.I wanted to find out whether the meditations were free to use as the app is free to download. Really disappointment to go though the signing up process only to find that I would have to pay to even enter the app. No I don’t want your free trial thank you very much, I want you to be upfront about the charges of your services..Version: 1.0.9
✓ Wanted to love itI kept seeing this app so I decided to download it. It sounded super helpful. I have 2 young boys. Some days can be rough of course! I downloaded the app and realized it was really expensive. $70 for the yearly membership or you can choose the monthly membership. I knew I couldn’t afford that. Then I saw they donate to a mom in need for every membership purchased. It’s their “Scholarship program” so I did email them about finding out more information. They said their wait list is 7 months. So I was like ok well that doesn’t really help me currently. So I did try the 7 day trial. I tried a few of the meditation stories for a few nights. It was a guy doing them and I just didn’t care for any of it. He would count down a lot, some of it was just weird. It honestly made me more anxious and mad than I was lol. But really I wanted to love it. I didn’t find this app helpful..Version: 1.1.20
✓ Not freeThis would of probably been one of the best things for me to resort to so easily as a stressed out mother and also pregnant. The fact that it’s made to help mothers yet charges you to even use it, blew me away. So many mothers are struggling and don’t have anyone or anything to resort to for a break, breather, alone time, to find themselves. Yet you see something that advertises free and it isn’t free at all; that you were so excited to try and hopeful for. It’s devastating that struggling moms with their mental health have to PAY to just get a dag on app that would of took 10-20mins to use, just for some kind of sanity to be a better mom. Shows how much mothers are valued and how much our mental health really matters when it comes to trying to be better for our kids. This app is a joke to me..Version: 1.1.9
✓ A lot of snapping.I’ve only used this for a couple days, and always before bed. There is usually an option to select “sleep at end” or “wake at end”. I’ve always chosen sleep. The man speaking will snap his fingers SEVERAL times during each talk. Like 4 or 5 times in the short ones and like 15 times or more in the longer. If I’m drifting off (and as a mom with babies I usually am) it startles me and wakes me up over and over again. It’s infuriating! It seems like they’re trying really hard to make it seem like...idk like hypnosis that you see on tv? but it’s nowhere near a hypnotic state for me and the snapping doesn’t make sense with the “sleep at end” setting. If it’s in every single one that I try during the free trial month there’s no way I’ll be able to continue..Version: 1.0.15
✓ Mind PowerYou have to be in the right space/be a person that believes in mind over matter. I felt like some of these sessions were trying to convince me that I was calm. I specifically utilized the emergency sessions. I have a very active son and I would try to take a minute to listen to these when I was in a rough spot. Big deep breathing was helpful. Overall, I do not think I gained any new form of relaxation, zen, or control over myself by using this app..Version: 1.0.4
✓ I wanted to love it.I felt the sessions were too short to work and by the time they encouraged a few deep breaths they were moving into the session and I wasn’t relaxed yet. Plus, being late in my pregnancy, I found it difficult to follow the breathing counts for that long without getting winded, which totally counteracted any calming effect it should have normally had. I wish the sessions started with more of a relaxation or at least have that option. I was never relaxed enough for the session to work and just got frustrated because he was still talking and I wasn’t in the right state of mind. If this app were to work for me I’d have to spend five or ten minutes meditating and relaxing on my own before each one and for the price I can’t see myself doing that..Version: 1.0.19
✓ Can’t even useWould be nice if I could even use it. My subscription got screwed up and somehow was charging me for 2 subscriptions, I was charged for one year subscription (payment successful) and the second payment is racking up NSF fees on one of my card (took the rest of my money out of the account so MamaZen couldn’t keep overcharging me) bank can’t do anything about it because I need to contact MamaZen to fix subscription, however no one at MamaZen will contact me back!! Of course there’s no phone number to call, and only a “submit a request “ form. Now I’m locked out of my account even though I’ve already paid for a year subscription so I can’t even use what I’ve paid for. What a joke!.Version: 1.30
✓ App wont let me sign upI love the concept of this app and would love to begin using it however everytime I try signingup and it has me add to village, there is no option to move forward or continue, I have tried refreshing, looking up customer support and even deleted and reinstalled the app! ✓ Does not load. Don’t bother to download.App spends more time loading the individual sessions than it does playing them. Spinning wheel of doom is there for - quite literally - minutes. Absolutely infuriating, and somewhat ironic whilst waiting for an “anti-anxiety” session to begin. This app is unfinished, bugged, slow, incapable of loading. Don’t waste your time or money. ✓ Not free as advertisedI don’t like when an app makes you go through a long introduction. Just to force you to pay for the app at the end I wish they were transparent from the beginning there is no way to bypass going through the subscription page to continue to trial. ✓ Good AppThe app is beautiful, visually and has lots of different sessions you can choose from for hypnotherapy. It is very relaxing to listen to, but I’m not easily put into a hypnotic state, so as far as that goes it doesn’t really work for me. I do like that you can search for a session that fits your needs, but it’s not something that I can see myself paying for when there are so many ways to listen to similar things for cheaper or free. So while it is a beautiful app and the sessions are nice, I can’t say that I would use it..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Nice concept, not well executedThe app is a great concept but there’s two main issues for me. On many occasions, more times than not, trying to get a season to play takes forever! Loading times are ridiculous, not just for the sessions but just to open the app at times takes forever. When you only have a 10 minute work break to utilize the app because that’s all the time you have in the world, and more than half of that time is spent on loading, it’s just not worth it. My other issue is the hypnotherapists snaps. It is a huge distraction! One snap I can get over, but in the longer sessions he snaps like 10 times. The snaps are to put you deeper in a trance yet it has the opposite effect. A single snap in the beginning should suffice, if he feels he must do it. Anything after that should be focused on the message of the session. Rather than counting down from five, 4 or 5 times within 10 minutes, with a snap after each one..Version: 1.0.33
✓ Don’t botherMakes you go through all the sign up pages then tells you it’s £15 a month for 1 prerecorded ie not tailored video a week. I don’t want to have to go through a 7 minutes video when the whole reason I need this is because I have 4 young children and when their demands overwhelm me I want to work on being less snappy. ✓ Well made for those who enjoy hypnotherapyThis app is well made, it is aesthetically pleasing and the goal setting is nice. My main problem is that it seems to be exclusively hypnotherapy, which from the app description should have only been one aspect of the program. Also, the seasons are relatively long (they have “emergency sessions” that are 7-minutes). As a parent of young children, in a mental “emergency” I would absolutely not have that much time. I can’t see myself being able to use this app with any regularity unfortunately both because of the length of the sessions, and the fact that hypnotherapy just isn’t really something I am into. BUT! If that’s something that works for you, this app might be a good fit!.Version: 1.0.4
✓ Two expensiveIt’s cost $15 a mont there no free version you can try it for a month for free if you are lucky and the you have to pay. Didn’t know this when I was going through the motions to check out the app!!! Waste my time. Also from what I read it sound like it heavy on the hypnotherapy , I was hoping for some actual tools or practices I could use in my daily routine. ✓ Charged me for free trialSigned up for the 30 day free trial. As soon as I signed up I immediately went in and cancelled the subscription so I wasn’t charged. Looking at my credit charges the very next day, I was charged for the free trial month I signed up for the previous day. If you are trying to use the free trial beware and check your statements. ✓ Why would we charge people who are struggling?This app seemed so awesome for me, and my sister. I’m struggling with aLOT of different things and was hoping that this app would help me. But it’s $70 a year! I just don’t understand why we would charge for something like this, so many moms out there who are struggling and don’t have the support we need, and this app could be super beneficial and probably is for the people who make more. ✓ $70 for what?Now to say if this app even works, I don’t know. But it’s ridiculous that people will find any reason to take peoples money. You would think when it comes to parenting, & mental health, there would be more “free options” to help people. You get all the way through the process of creating a custom goal & creating your account THEN it decides to ask you for $70. You can go to a licensed professional with the same amount of money you’re dumping into an app, & you can also read books on it..Version: 1.1.11
