✓ Bug reportI’ve got a bug. This has been happening since I downloaded the new content. When I try to use my fourth shortcut slot the game crashes every time. Other shortcut slots work fine, (Love your game, btw! I did initially think it needed controller support but on deeper playing I think you’ve done a great job with the on-screen controls)..Version: 4.3

✓ Pyshical controller support update pleaseThe game runs amazing and is really smooth to play through. However, one problem i wish i knew before hand is that the game doesn't actually provide physical controller support. But nevertheless, the game is still pretty good for a mobile port. Games such as Castlevania SotN provide physical controller support, so i figured id give Bloodstained a try and ran into the problem of not being able to play with a controller, which had kind of saddened me..Version: 4.3
✓ Third PlaythroughFirst time I played Bloodstained was on Switch, then my brother bought the game for me when I got a new PC. I know doing so sounds silly, but here I am buying another copy of the game, and I regret nothing. I’ve got all of the achievements on Steam, and I plan on 100%ing again. ✓ Bug stopping progressionTruly a brilliant game - played directly after the iOS port of Symphony of the night so on screen controls not too big of an issue as I’m used to them. However the game has crashed every time I try to enter the boss area (spoiler) in the hall of termination after the second zangestu fight (end of spoiler). I’m on IPhone XR, do not have an up to date iPad that I could work around it on. Going to try some fixes but this does need to be worked on as I cannot progress with anything until it’s fixed.Version: 4.3
✓ AwesomeCan’t believe this is on mobile and at such a great price. It looks and runs great on my iPhone 11. Phone does get hot with 60fps enabled. I use a Razer Kishi controller and for the most part it’s great. Sometimes I am forced to use touchscreen like in the menu for example. As for the game, you all know, it’s Iga at his best. This looks, sounds and plays like all the best 2D castlevania games..Version: 4.0

✓ It will please Metroidvania fansIt is a great game, you will enjoy if you like Castlevania (the story is literally: demons are spawning from a Castle). The maps are well designed, as in complex enough but not that will get lost. Graphically, it’s pretty especially on Epic resolution at 60fps. The combat system is familiar and enjoyable, it’s not reinventing the wheel by any means. The game does what it’s advertising itself to be. So now the criticism (hopefully constructive if the devs bother to read): 1. The controller support… feels like it was dumped on the guy who drew the short straw on before Christmas eve. First of all, there is no layout description, so if you play with controller just press buttons until stuff happens (FYI, up opens chess, your welcome dear reader). The controller doesn’t work anywhere beside the game itself: not in the title screen, not in the menu screen, npc shop menu… oh, and you can’t even open or close menu with the controller. I tested with both the ps4 controller and the razer kishi. You would think that this might a “hybrid” design like what COD mobile is doing. No! This is just broken and lazy. 2. I love the fact that dialogues are all voiced, but sometimes it’s out sync with the text. Also, there should be a option auto move from dialogue box to dialogue box… it kinda feels like the voice over was an afterthought..Version: 4.3

✓ So far so goodTO ANYONE READING, PLAY THID GAME WITH A CONTROLLER! I’ve waited awhile to play this game. When I first heard about it I was excited. Being SOTN fan it hit me in the feels. It’s a very good port, the A13 chip handles the game very well. The only gripe I have is that the controls aren’t as responsive as they could be. It you could tweak them a lil it would be excellent. Maybe I’m just spoiled from how fluid it is to play Genshin Impact. It needs that twitch style gameplay. Price was right on though.Version: 4.2
✓ Great action game in iOS!Actually it has multiple languages (English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and etc.) and dual voice(English and Japanese) to choose, not only English. I didn’t play it on PS5/PC/Switch before, but now it’s great to play it on my iPad with wireless Xbox controller. Update review: Thanks for updates by developers. I found some bugs fixed. For example, when I entered some room, it kept loading and cannot continue before. It has been fixed. There’s a bug I knew. When I switched the scene or merge a weapon, the game would crash sometimes. Please continue to fix bugs still exist..Version: 3.8

✓ Bloodless Mode Crashes Right Before GebelOverall, I absolutely LOVE this game, and I’m already obsessed with Bloodless mode!! However - the game crashes right as I enter Gebel’s chamber, every single time….like the game is programmed to crash there or something. ✓ Great Potential but Missing Key FeaturesDespite its flaws, the game runs way better than the Switch version. Apparently controller support seems better than now that at the app’s launch as well. But still no controller support in menus, which is quite inconvenient. If the game gets improvements with the controls, the newer content from other consoles, and the performance gets further optimized, this could possibly become one of the best games on the app store. ✓ New update brings 60fps and controller support!I was waiting for this update. I’ve been eyeing the game on console but I usually play COD or Apex on console. I told myself it would be perfect for mobile and then the mobile version was released and I knew I had to get it. But the reviews for it complained about the controls, so I waited for the update and I’m glad I did. Really great game, reminds me of castlevania except it’s with a girl (that happened only like twice in the series I believe). The art work is very DMC and I’m talking like the first 3 games, not the recent ones. It’s a good game! If you’re thinking about getting it you should.Version: 4.0
✓ Really good.I own this game on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and now on IOS. This games is really good, please don’t expect PS4 performance from your phone there is some slow down on levels like the tower. The reason I gave it four stars is because when you use a controller the icons are still on the screen, other than that the game is well worth the asking price. ✓ Great game, needs controller supportThis is great port. I’m amazed that they were able to bring this to mobile. However, this game REALLY NEEDS controller support. You can sort of use a controller but it’s not perfect. Plus, the onscreen buttons stay. And you can’t pause using a controller. You need to use a mix of controller and touch. With controller support this game would easily be 5 star. Also some glitches. Times when I would travel into another section and it would just stay forever on the loading screen. ✓ Decent Ported gameI had this game on the switch and I believe it plays better on here for the most part. Only issue for me is that I noticed depending on what weapon I have equipped, it can be difficult to break lamps with the jump and attack button. This is an amazing game from legendary developers released on IOS for us to enjoy so quit all the whining and nitpicking, this game is overall AWSOME and frankly what else do we have to get our “castlevania fix” ????
