✓ Concept good, execution meh.Only about a weeks worth of content in the app as of November 2020. Pretty disappointed that once I hit the world limit, ants putting the food in the hole would actually decrease my money instead of increasing it. Cant tell if this is a bug or just a stop gap to keep players from getting too over-powered and clearing levels in literal seconds. Either way, it frustrated me but the game itself was a nice little time waster while I had nothing to do for a while..Version: 2.3.2

✓ BrokenIt is a good game quite fun but it broke and now I can’t play it please try to fix this the items started falling through the floor on the third island last level with the pirate ship on the beach then I went out temporarily and when I went back into the game all the ants I had earned to fight the boss where there but I had to pay for them again I tried deleting it and reinstalling it again but that didn’t work all of my progress with the worker ants was there but my fighter ants where gone😢.please try to fix this 🥺.Version: 4.2.5
✓ Good time killer, but very resource heavyIf you look at all the ads as a part of the process it won’t brother you as much. But the game freezes and crashes because of the ads. And it heats my phone up tremendously, and that’s with no other windows open, contrast all the way down, Bluetooth off, and my phone heats up bad from playing this. But I also play Honkai Impact, and I have my settings on HD, 60 FPS and play for an hour and my phone won’t heat up. Why is this game so resource heavy with phones? This is a time killer, it’s ok, lots of grinding, would be nice if they optimize the power usage. Ok for a tap game though . 60% of ads you don’t have to do. But it gives boost so I don’t mind... just do something about the crashing and optimize your resource usage for these devices, or I will have to uninstall.Version: 2.2.3

✓ Too shortI opened this game last night, and it’s a great little game, it’s satisfying to see the ants dismantling whatever is in front of them. My personal favourites are the plane and the castle. After playing the first world I purchased the ad free version, at £9.99 it was quite a steep price but I was enjoying it and thought why not, I’ll splurge on it. Well that was a mistake. Let me tell you why. Without the adverts to slow you down, it’s too easy. After an hour of playing I’d completed all the worlds, my ants take about 7 seconds to clear the objects, and most of my ants aren’t needed to come out of the hole now either. The most frustrating part though, without the adverts you don’t get the triple bonuses etc from cleaning a level. I now make 5.7T a level. They need to add more to the game. As it stands I’ll probably never play this game again, as all I can do is try to max out my ants, but that’s counter productive as the ants clear the object so quick you dont really get any satisfaction from them doing it. So, if you don’t mind paying £9.99 for about an hours fun, then go for it, otherwise stick to the free version and just watch the ads..Version: 3.4.1

✓ Almost okay! But not okay.I like tycoon games. I don’t download many app store games, but one day I decided to see what the app store had to offer. I saw that this was a tycoon game and sometimes I just like clicking on things to make numbers rise. This game is so close to being good, but the fact that you HAVE to watch an ad after you beat the level makes the game nearly unplayable. This app isn’t worth the $9.99 that removes the ads. Maybe $5, but all I’m doing is looking at ants run back and forth. I’d actually gladly watch a few of the ads that give you bonuses, but I don’t want to because the developers got so greedy that they decided to force you to sit through an ad after every level. When levels only take about 12 seconds to get though, you’re staring at an ad for longer than you’re looking at ants. It probably gets as bad as 30 seconds of level, 30 seconds of ads sometimes. This game should be called Idle Ads. They claim in the newest update that there’s new sound design but the only sound that this game makes is the audio from ads. Ads ads ads. I get the feeling that the developer(s) don’t care because they probably make $200 off of each person from ad revenue. Apple’s not going to do anything about it. ✓ Great app but a HUGE issueThis is a really great app as its it satisfying and fun but there is a couple issues. One, after playing the game for a while my sessions progress will get deleted and I’ll have to redo whatever I did. Secondly, in my opinion there is a bit too many adds, but a tip for others, turn off you cellular or wifi for no adds. And thirdly, the major issue, completed data corruption. I have been playing for a long time but all of a sudden my game crashed and when I reopened it I was back on the first world. I had all my upgrades but no special ants or builds. All my fighter ants that get unlocked in later worlds, gone. After playing for a tiny bit I unlocked the second world. So, as you would, I tap worlds, and then garden. But it just takes my through the grass covered screen and then back to the first world. This keeps happening over and over. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it but it keeps progress, which would normally be good, but in my case, I can never play again on this device. Please fix this -LJ.Version: 4.2.5

✓ Suitable if you love watching advertsThis app is more adverts than game. To buy “no ads” is £10 which is ridiculous. I’ve spent less on an old fifa game. A level lasts roughly 30 seconds to a minute and there’s a mandatory ad at the end of every level that you can’t even skip. You get the option to triple your rewards if you watch an ad, or you can choose no triple reward, and still get an ad. That being said, I noticed that on the highest world available, I was actually losing money as the ants returned their foraged good to the colony. It’s not a deal breaker by any means as I still play, but it shows that the game has its glitches to be worked out. Also, what’s up with having to verify you want the 3x multiplayer after EVERY stage in order to have the ants eat the next item (even after you pay to get rid of ads)? ✓ Great game ruined by too many bugsGreat little game. However it has bugs and lots of them. Won’t save your progress then you can build, which means you are limited in ant numbers for boss fights. Ads too constant and selecting yes to play ad or selecting no to play for no bonus/no bonus. Why bother it plays the ad anyways and then doesn’t reward you for it. Biggest issue is won’t save the building blocks you collect and then get sticks on an ad loading screen too often. When you come back after rebooting all progress lost on building blocks. ✓ Fake optional ADsBiggest gripe with f2p games that are simple and mostly entertaining as watching a fish tank is that they have regular mandatory ads every 10 or so minutes, but in this case here it gives you the option to watch an “AD” to triple earnings, but you can close it out, but if you do you still get forced to watch a 30 second AD interrupting play and not getting the triple earnings, that is predatory and wrong. I’d normally accept f2p games if the AD watching was a choice to earn some buffs to speed up progress and watch numbers go up but if I don’t have a choice and especially if it is perceived as a choice only to get punished, well that’s pretty messed up..Version: 2.3.2

As far as the basic mechanics this game works very well and isn’t glitchy even when you have a fair number of ants. There are plenty of things that could be improved though: 1) a background would be great. 2) more varieties and possibly randomized food. 3)skins, the creator obviously has some respect for ants, but they’re missing out on the truly incredible variety of them that there are. ✓ My opinion about the game.My opinion about the game isn’t that it’s the worst it’s just not the best. Someone said there were a ton of ads but I just put my device on airplane mode so I didn’t get a chance to see if there were or not. But, honestly I don’t really like the game for the so fact that you just sit there watching ants go over to something and then take pieces of it into a hole. The only interacting thing you can do is upgrade and at the end either multiply your earning or push an x. There’s nothing to really do so if you’re looking for a game to just kind of sit and watch and do few interactions with then this is good for that if you’re looking for the total opposite then I’d say this probably isn’t for you. I mean, who knows? Maybe it is for you. Just because this is my opinion on the game doesn’t mean it’s yours too. If you want to see what this game is all about go for it, try new things maybe you’ll end up liking it. I don’t know. But, a heads up is that I think some stuff is over-priced. You shouldn’t have to pay for different ants that only have upgrades that you can just use your coins to buy. The ants in the store should be bought with coins not actual money. You don’t really do much, it’s a copy paste of the games styled to spend money to increase speed/output. I can’t see myself playing it regularly. Minimum ten second ads, up to thirty seconds plus for others. They occur less than one minute apart once you get any real speed built up. The £9.99 asking price to take away the adverts which appear after every level (and during some levels) is about £9 too much and quickly leads to the bizarre situation of being in adverts more often than you are in the game. I don’t suffer from the naive delusion that all apps should be free or that devs put these games out as a charitable activity or a hobby (game development is gruelling work) but £9.99 for this “screen saver” is beyond optimistic and so the only alternative is to endlessly watch adverts until, like me, you get bored .. either the ad revenue on this app is stellar or the devs just got the pricing badly wrong.Version: 2.2.3

And even when you’re watching the ants, you’re bombarded by pop up asking you to watch more ads for bonuses that aren’t needed. Each level already only takes 10-20 seconds to complete. Don’t download this crappy app. It exists just to make money on showing you ads, and is probably mining all your data while doing so. This is seriously a terrible example of corporate greed. Developers, if you actually care about making a good game (which I seriously doubt because clearly this is just about money), my suggestions would be the following: -don’t require an ad to progress to the next level. You already have an option to triple the money gift for finishing a level by watching an ad. So what’s the point of making them watch an ad either way?? Oh right. Corporate greed. -make upgrade purchases more expensive. The game is too overpowered such that levels go by basically instantly (meaning yay! Another ad!) -decrease the bite size of each ant. They’re eating too much of the item, again making the levels super short. Instant gratification isn’t necessary with idle games - they should be more about the slow burn. -decrease the no ad purchase by at least 50%. This crap game isn’t worth $10 and you know it. ✓ An okay game but...Way too short. Beat every world except for the last one in a day with a couple hours of active play time. There is a “coming soon” notice, so hopefully they make more levels quickly. I didn’t beat the last world because I hit a game breaking glitch. Every time my ants make it back to their hole, I lose money instead of gain it for some reason. It is only an issue in the current final world. Going back a world fixes it, and then breaks again when you go to the last world. Also as with any cheap money grab idle games like this one, expect a lot of ads..Version: 3.1.1

✓ Fun buggy too often adsOverall the game is fun. Fun to watch the ants move and eat away at the different items. My issue with the game is that at the higher levels, money goes backwards. At higher levels when you watch an ad to double the points, the money goes backwards and into the negative. At end of each level, it pretty much shows an ad no matter if you press the X and choose not too. The game could use more dynamics to the game play. Perhaps obstacles to avoid and rewards for fast times and achievements. Maybe lighten up on the ads and at least fix the bugs..Version: 3.1.1

✓ Too Few Levels, No Progression, BugsI beat the entire game in 1.5 hours: The game was fun and slow at first, and I kept watching ads to get the bonuses, which seemed worth it at first. I absolutely hate how they force you to watch an ad regardless of if you will get the boost anyways. I ended up paying the $20 to remove ads and then get all the special ants. This allows you to constantly have 2x speed, profit, free extra squads, and free VIP ants. The game literally does not scale to this kind of play, and is why I finished all the levels in 1.5 hours simply by spending $20. This is not rewarding and is terrible game design. Also, the VIP ant lets you spam press it while it’s walking out if you have purchased the “remove ads” and you will get the money multiplied by the number of times you clicked the ant. Overall I liked the game at first, but clearly this is just to make money for lazy developers, who will post “balance tweaks and bug fixes” every now and then to look good on the App Store, but ignore the blatantly obvious problems with the game mechanics..Version: 3.3.4
✓ My opinionFor anyone who reads reviews I would say to give it a try, it’s not the best or the worst. All you do it upgrade your ants and eat food. There are different worlds which I like. There are a lot of ads, there is an ad after every level. The levels aren’t that long once you’ve got the hang of it. Some ads can be longer then the level. My tip is to turn on airplane mode while your playing the game, it doesn’t play ads at all when you do that. There are different food and drinks also, sometimes you get the same one but that only happened to me twice. Otherwise I would just say try it out it’s not bad. It’s not my first pick in games but I’d say it’s ok. The ants could like go back in rows like normal ants do because they run into each other, that could be a little more organised.
