✓ App is garbageSomehow my old membership from two years ago wasn’t reactivated so now I have two accounts. I can log in to either account on the website fine since they have different usernames but they have the same email. Why they created a new account is beyond me. But since the app uses email it won’t log into either account, I tried making both accounts having the same and different passwords, neither attempt worked. The fun part is the website help desk has you contact the store, the store replies use the support link at the bottom of the app, that doesn’t exist, clicking the app support from Apple store takes you to “virtuagym” link that no longer exists, the gym is fine but the support on the app and non existent headquarters customer service support is a joke. Is there no quality control on your app and links? Your help page points to non existent pages and links. Only leaving this review in the hopes someone that can resolve this will actually contact me..Version: 9.7.0

✓ Massage ChairsIt’s fantastic that Planet Fitness has the foresight to have the massage chairs, but it’s disappointing to find out you can’t use them 24/7. You can only use them when staff are at the gym. ✓ A bit confusingAlthough I appreciate the app making it easier to view timetables and check in and out of the gym… the app is a little confusing to navigate and understand. In particular, the personal tracking aspect seems a little pointless as it doesn’t give you enough options for adjusting goals etc. I also love the fact there’s a chat and question feature to the app… but once again… not effective as most of the people answering questions are other gym attendees that are I sure of the answer, or providing contradictory information. Why are the stuff not tasked with monitoring the questions and providing reliable and accurate answers? ✓ New technologyI’d like more machines talking to my app. It would be great if it was counting my reps etc. maybe, when I go to a machine, it will give instructions how to use, simply by putting my watch close to it. Even a board in the stretching room with different stretches, put my watch close to a diagram, and then instructions come up. Can my watch count stretches, or tell me when to ‘streach, now relax’?
