✓ Pretty flippin goodThe game has been very entertaining and keeps me wanting to come back and do the daily missions and weekly events. The community has been very open and welcoming and my alliance members make the game as fun as it can be! Now I realize that this is an online game and some people can be mean about it and pay out the nose on the game. But the community has set server rules for some events and raiding players, and I appreciate that. I have played a lot of city/base building games before this and the fact the players are active and looking out for new players helps this game grow a lot! I highly recommend this game if you’re just casual about mobile gaming or if you are really serious, Lost Crusade welcomes all!! ✓ People complain but it’s better than mostEveryone complains about whales and people with large amount of cash outspending others, well that’s the case for every city building game, but here’s the think before I spent my first dime in the game, I was able to reach my first 1m power in 2 days without spending anything, but I’ve seen players that I started with not being able to surpass 500k, it’s not the spending it’s the lack of knowledge, so I give 4 stars because it’s more balance/expensive than many other games making it less attractive to drop massive amounts of cash meaning big whales won’t be 50m-60m when the rest is barely 5-10m. ✓ A Gem of 40k gamingI’ve been gaming for years, and I gotta say this is the first mobile game I’ve played that not only leaned heavily on the source material but was also fun to play. There’s LOTS of management and LOTS of menus, and many little tricks to learn to make you a conduit of the Emperor’s wrath. Yes there’s a pay to win structure in place, you can easily drop money and become the greatest Marshal in your sector. But the devs were smart, everything you can get by purchase, can easily be grounded out and still enjoy the crushing drudgery that is imperial bureaucracy; an element also included in gameplay I may add. 40K games are all over the place. ✓ KEVOLUTIONThis game is meh! Exactly what you’d expect from base builder the only thing that sets it apart is that it’s set in the Warhammer 40K universe. Build, farm and train until the time limits for such things become unbearable, and your forced to buy (insert the in game currency gems, crystals whatever)unless you have the patience of a saint. Could have been made a bit better by having different races to play as but all in all just another base builder game designed to fleece punters from their hard earned cash. ✓ Very well programmed but…This game is very well designed and programmed. The UI is highly responsive with little lag. There are a lot of free hero’s and perks to keep one going. It doesn’t fall prey to rampant and obvious pay to win that plagues most mobile games. For this reason I give the developer a thumbs up. But at the end of the day the action part of it is … repetitive and dull at best. And then it’s highly deterministic with little left to chance or so called skill. Upgrade this and that and then back to the single lane of dull action with higher math. All that dullness is really the fault of the genre of game. A huge number of games follow this exact recipe. ✓ Most balanced base building gameI’ve been playing for a few weeks and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. These base building games are just copies of eachother, built and designed to be cash grabs. This one is the most balanced I’ve ever played. Whether youre a f2p player or you want to spend money, theres something for everyone in this game. As long as you remain active and get in a good alliance you can absolutely compete in all the events and get great rewards. Def you should give this a try if you’re into these kinds of games. ✓ This is a really good game but there are things i would like to addThis game has me hooked i love the base building getting new heroes and making my units stronger but i feel like there is 2 things missing terminators and changing factions like becoming a blood angel or the black templars i would also really like it if terminators would in this game make them more durable than a primaris marine or vanguard marine but weaker than a dreadnought for the level 1 terminators equip them with a storm bolter or whatever you would like for the medium levels equip them with heavy flamers and for high levels assault cannons this is some features i would like to add but overall good game.Version: 0.23.0
✓ Great potentialEveryone has an opinion. This a base building, army building game. Yes there are many in this genre. However, this one has a good mix of PVE and PVP. Plenty of PVE to keep you occupied until the next war. The facts are, like all the other in this genre, this is a PVP game. Don’t let the negative reviews discourage you. You can grind anything in this game. Yes you can pay to advance quickly but I would not say it is pay to win. Make sure you know what all the buildings do and set defenses. It’s not complicated but you do have to make an effort to learn and not just show up for your participation trophy. Join an Alliance as quickly as you can. That is your best defense. ✓ Its mostly goodThis game is good for the most part i enjoy it and have fun but theres been a couple times where for some reason when i log on it kicks me of a couple seconds later and this had happened before and it is happening again and it is quite annoying since i lover warhammer and there isnt that many good phone games about warhammer and and another problem is that even though the heros are legendary it is still too hard to get their shards to upgrade them and the only hero shards im actually getting are kantor ke’iah and and lysander and well i just want more i even dont get that much of epic shards so the best heros i get is the blue coloured ones which is puny to the higher level people who have been playing much longer and have better heros but other than that this game is amazing.Version: 2.2.0
✓ One of the best App games/ 40k games of all timeIf you are a Fan of Warhammer 40k or not this is a great app game. For those who enjoy micromanaging, base expansion, story elements, sci-fi, simulated combat, army growth and choice, and pretty much endless things to do. This game is for you. It does have micro transactions but as far as I’ve played they aren’t necessary at all. The game is incredibly generous with items and boost for you. It’s actually really surprising. I expected that after the first few levels and couple hours of play it would taper off, but it is the contrary. As you expand and get more stuff to do, the game give your more and more ways to get the things you need. My one and only real complaint is the games tutorial while really great doesn’t do a good enough job explaining how to upgrade, manage, match and equip your heroes. I was well into playing before I figured out that you could select an armor slot and do something called “sweep” and sweep a level for armor pieces which allowed me to upgrade heroes. Other than that, for a free game that also happens to be about a genre I love, and is fun it play. Totally worth it..Version: 0.13.0

✓ Be real about your expectationsListen guys, let's be real. Stop looking for a game that ain't so much P2W, they're all like that. It doesn't matter what sector you're on, it just takes a group of people that are all P2W to form up an alliance and annihilate everyone else. It took me 30 days to realize that, even though I was very very active due to work from home and keep things moving, it got to a point where it was a second job. Steer away, it's addictive. It ain't a time killer, it's a time stealer. I'm rating it 4 stars because of all the base building games this is the most straight forward that I've seen and simple. Unfortunately, the amount of events going on, the competition, it's very very hard to keep up unless you put in $$$ which is still mind boggling to me how so many people are willing to throw away dozens and hundreds of dollars into mobile games like these. I'm going to look for a paid mobile game instead even if it's single player. ✓ Good game but has issuesThe concept is great. The ability to advance whilst playing f2p is ok but you won’t be able to contest with the whales. Issues abound with events and the way they are becoming more and more complicated leading to game crashes, events not working for some and so giving others an unfair advantage. ✓ Epic WH40k gameI’m BB38 with 70 mil power and an epic legion of three alliances. It has so many facets I enjoy and with the SVS out now it’s a perfect new challenge for the team and it’s super nice or taking permanent losses. It’s got a bit of everything from base and fleet building to events like the KE where you get points for flattening other players battle barges. It’s coming along way since then start and the new hero abilities have certainly made pvp battles much more interesting and challenging. Great mechanics there if you take the time to read and understand them then follow the battle reports. Plenty to keep me interested and always bee content being released. There can be some bugs after updates but they are resolved quick enough and everyone receives compensation. I also have my very own Valkyrie service that is a direct line to the game support staff and is super useful..Version: 0.27.0
✓ For a mobile game it’s really good.I’ve heard people say it’s just a "pay to win cash grab" and "fun is behind a pay wall" and so far there’s literally nothing good behind a pay wall. Except Cato sicarius but even then he’s only £0.99. And it’s free download too. ✓ Great game.This game serves its purpose. Login and complete what’s needed then you can log off. It has a lot of pay to get ahead options. The pay to win is hard to achieve because of how many features are required in the game. This will require really deep pockets. Updates are nice but gets glitchy after the general updates. They are good at compensating for the maintenance delays. In PVP, there could be some improvement for how you lose troops. A lot of players leave after being attacked because it completely depletes your power. Maybe start with percentages so it is not as difficult to build your force back up. That demoralizing factor causes players to quit and not come back because time invested is extremely high just to lose everything in a matter of 2-3 attacks from opponents. Void supremacy is fun! However healing should be as long as it is for a 1 hour event. I think the healing needs to be adjusted and squished for the void supremacy in order to keep it engaging and constant fighting. Overall, I love the 40k universe and the lore behind the franchise. PLEASE ADD IRON HANDS!.Version: 2.7.1

I will warn you that this game is very competitive and may cause you to rage quit. Still going through a lot of development so can be pain staking at times to play but as lot of potential to grow. Not the best customer support and developers should listen to players more then focusing on lining their pockets. Unless you have a nice bank account then grinding can take forever to reach even a basic level of competitiveness. ✓ Good but could be better.I like the game I really do and I’m glad they added some more chapters to choose from I’ll probably give this game a five star when they add the Space Wolves but it’s still a pay to advance game once you hit a certain spot in the campaign you have to upgrade your hero significantly I am on the third chapter of the campaign and all of my heroes are level 45 and I’m still having trouble with the first mission of chapter 3 and every time I failed the mission a bundle comes up saying if I buy this I’ll get a bunch of hero XP to put towards my hero to help me along my way I did this but after a while it was clear I needed to do it again you don’t get much XP from attacking other enemy bases(other players) don’t get me wrong the prices for these things aren’t that bad for what you get but it kind of gets repetitive after about the third time of paying $3.99 and you don’t get much XP from attacking chaos fleets and other things like that you get pretty much next to nothing for your hero when you do that which is a bit of a letdown because you would expect you to gain some XP but you pretty much only gain about 100 XP for each one of these chaos fleets you destroy..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Good startHas high potential if further updates are added. As far as strategy games go, this really isn’t one. Not much strategy involved. More or less constant upgrading and farming for resources. Non-stop building upgrades and rather blandly named research to increase strength and productivity. The battles are mediocre at best. Basically the same fight every time but with one or two different enemies. Build an army hundreds strong to increase your power level, but never actually see them fight. They only exist as a number. As far as the source material goes, they did well in names and such, but little else. I just started playing a week ago and currently have over 300 Dreadnoughts. ✓ I quite enjoy this gameFor a mobile game it’s not bad it’s actually quite enjoyable. The voice acting segments in the game of very well done the campaign/story that’s nice he is nice and it does get harder and make you think what to do. Another thing that I like about this game is that you don’t have ads pop up on your screen every 10 seconds with things you don’t want and the game itself is locked behind a paywall. Yes there are micro transactions but they’re not getting forced down your throat like many other game and they are at a very reasonable price, if not cheaper than what you’d expect. ✓ Temper Your ExpectationsI’ve played probably 6-7 different games within this base-building genre and all of them have been decently enjoyable, up until a certain point at least. There’s something fun about the steady, overly-simplistic amassing of resources while upgrading buildings at a constant pace. While this type of “gameplay” won’t appeal to everyone, in my opinion these types of games are enjoyable to a certain degree. However, all of these games suffer from the same fatal flaw: whales. Once the newbie shield is gone you’ll either have to fork over real money to re-activate it (and keep it active) or subject yourself to constant abuse by server whales who can single-handedly while you and your buddies clean in one fell swoop. That’s when the “fun” stops, thus causing most players to delete the app. At the time of me writing this my newbie shield is still up and I’ve enough in-game resources to keep said shield activated for another couple of weeks. As such, I’m able to say (now, at least) that this title is pretty fun and is also quite sharp looking. It’s the same engine as State of Survival so the UI / rewards systems are identical. It’s a fun game to check in on now & again, but I know full well the lifespan of this game on my phone is already a short one..Version: 0.27.0

✓ For fun less workIt’s getting hard to keep interest in game soon as I have troops to mine or do events , and player with a mass deference in power wipes out troops, can’t mine to gain resources to make new troops fast enough, can’t level up as resources are used for the troops replacement than building. In other games if played for over five years like Star truck fleet command, a player can only attack or be attacked within two ranks up or down, this game would be like a 35 and only be hit buy 33 to 37. Giving that player time to build up before popping to the next level. ✓ More like 4 1/2 starsSo it’s get a 4 star review from me. I love most of what the game brings to the table. Stamina is a bit annoying but thankfully it’s not breaking for me, however the amount of time it takes to train troops is a bit much level 5 takes about 5 and a half hours for ten units. But my biggest nit pick per say is how long buildings take to upgrade, again I understand making the process of these types of games where a little micro transactions help boost the game. However at level 21 to 22 barge should not take 3 days and 11 hours to upgrade one level. Make it easier to upgrade without spending money on premium currency and this is a solid winner.Version: 0.24.0
✓ Good GameThe game seemed like it was a bit fast on progression in the early game, but has now tapered to a reasonable level by about BB20. I prefer a more open map with troop or fleet movement being controlled manually but so far it seems to be going ok. The void supremacy seems a bit chaotic being able to tp wherever you want, a more restrictive system where your territory expands section by section might be a bit more fun. Right now if you have a have on your team you can pretty much brute force your way through it by teleporting to centre. Should really get some content creators into this to bring awareness to the game as right now it really seems to be slow activity wise. Introducing some sort of migration function would be nice as well for those stuck on a dead server..Version: 0.25.0
✓ Amazing game over all but similar to othersAs I said this is an amazing game if you are a fan of warhammer as it keeps the designs as close to the games workshop designs as possible and also has incredible graphics however it is quite similar to other games E.G lord’s mobile but over all I find it to a really good game even including obscurecharacters such as pedro kantor who I love (totally not biased because I am a crimson fist person).Version: 0.24.0

✓ Lives up to my expectationsHonestly, I don’t see the problems with people being attacked by these supposed 40lvl+ players. I have created three accounts to try this out and every time I’ve been able to develop peacefully to a decent level of power. ✓ Good game but could be greatOk, I’ll start on a positive, the graphics are AMAZING. The base building feature is decent; so is the hero collection aspect, but I really think where the game falls down is p V p. This is because you just send them to the base and wait for them to get home! I think you could fix this by changing pvp so you can choose to command your troops or to let the computer do it. The way I picture this to work is like this, you first choose wether you want to play the battle or let the computer do it on the troop selection screen. Next it would select a random drop point as far away from the main battle barge where your heroes disembark their gunship, then clicking on their plates (at the bottom of the screen) and clicking a location/building to attack it. Like with the current battles, you can bring in troops behind the front line to assist your heroes. You can also control them like with the heroes. Also, add more early base expansions and tower variations to help protect your base from intruders and attackers. Please do consider my idea and add it into the game so I can rate this 5 stars ⭐️..Version: 0.14.0
✓ Amazing game but can’t log back inI absolutely love this game, as a massive Warhammer 40K fan from models to books. The only real issue I have is the game is linked to my Apple ID and I can’t log back in, I just keep getting an error message. It would be nice if I could get back into my account as I don’t want to stop playing. The weird things about it is I’m still getting notifications from my alliance when they set rallies so I know my account is still there. Please fix this because I can see a lot of people not returning to the game or may ask for refunds on what they have spent on the game because it wasn’t advertised that Apple ID linking isn’t available..Version: 0.13.1

✓ Good game and lossWell… I essentially lost all my progress. Lvl 13 strong hold and then game froze at 70% at title screen no matter what I did after trying to fix it on my own(note: contact support next time). Still, after losing all my everything, I just want to say that it was still a great game nonetheless. Good community. There are good guys and bad guys as in players in factions. It was all overall fun, really. Either way, hope others can give it a try. It is a really good game at the end of the day, sadly, I am moving on as I can’t take that time back. Salamanders specifically. and when I was given the option to pick a chapter I was disappointed to see that a important space marine chapter wasn’t included. ✓ Quite like thisOk firstly it’s a good start. You get immersed in the story. Next is the actual game. Good events spice it up for you but it’s the alliance interactions which make this game stand out. It’s NOT as bad as some people make out. Yes there are very big players that can wipe you out but in the sector I’m playing in (Sector 38 - please join :)) everyone kind of respects each other. Join a big alliance and you should be fine. In terms of pay to play. Yes you can buy things, how else do these companies make a profit?, but you don’t have to spend much or not at all to play along. You just don’t ever be a big player. The big players obviously paid a lot to be there so you can’t begrudge them. Overall if you want a game to fill your time between going work, lunch breaks etc this is a very good game. ✓ Compared to other gamesThis game is honestly pretty good. Very pay to win, however, they give you enough free items to enjoy without paying to win. ✓ I love Warhammer 40KLong time fan. Really enjoy this game. I was playing it with no issues, I’m already at level 14 and my battlebarge is coming along nicely. I have a cool alliance and everybody seems to work very well together. MY ONLY GRIPE at this point in time is that now, for some reason - I can’t launch the game from my iPhone 12 Pro. I have good internet connection. I have tried the repair button to fix. I’ve let it rest a while. And every single time I try to boot it up or log in… it just gets stuck at 70 percent. I’m not sure what to do. EDIT: this issue has been resolved and I am happy thus far with this game.Version: 1.1.2
✓ Amazing game, but a little tediousThis game is really well done, the combat system is incredible, resources are readily available, and the campaign has been really fun so far. The only problem that I’ve run into though is that building an army and leveling hero’s takes forever. It would be really helpful if there was a button to start training units in all of your training camps, or if there was one menu for training any/all units you want. The hero’s also feel like they only get a small amount of XP every mission, and I found my self spending a long time doing the same mission repeatedly to catch one hero up to my older hero’s. ✓ Warhammer Entertains AgainKeeps you very busy, lots to do! Hero’s are easy to come by, tons of mini games, collecting resources isn’t a drag or a bummer, especially once you get three marching slots. Warehouse and hospital don’t make attacks too draining and ruin the game for lower power players. Alliances are impactful and meaningful. Huge research tree to build. All in all one of the best free “RTS” games I’ve played in a long time! Two building slots would be the only huge improvement I would recommend at a higher level to speed the game along a little faster past Barge level 15 or 16..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Beyond expectations!!!I downloaded this game over a year ago as a fan of the books and wanting something in the warhammer 40k world. Did not expect to play daily as I have, you can pay to advance or just grind and still be competitive. Every time there is an issue I start to see with game play their next patch addresses it and cleans up the game play as well. Cool challenges and also missions, good back story and if you join a clan a lot of active players. Just don’t be a lone unclaimed low level or you may become a farm for advanced players..Version: 2.2.0
