✓ Works fine. But Very little controlThe AI gets it right 80-90% of the time. Which is great, you’d expect it to allow a human to come in and fix that extra 10-20%. Unfortunately the app does not allow that. Human control over word placement is a nightmare in this app and is it’s greatest weakness. It does not let you drag individual words to where they need to be alto the second. The “timing” feature only allows for timing of blocks of words, and gives zero control over where to put individual words within a block of words. So inevitably when the AI mistimes a word, or puts dead space on a whole sentence, there’s no way for you to reliably fill in that dead space with well-timed words. It just auto-aligns your new edit and messes up your words. When this happens, you’re better off making that section invisible, or using a different app to fill in that space..Version: 10.26

✓ Great overall especially if you have auditory processing issues!!!I myself have auditory processing issues and so for the longest time couldn't caption my own Tiktoks which made me feel like crap. I want my content to be as accessible as possible and for the longest time couldn't. This however is an amazing app and I couldn't recommend it more. I did a video using it and asked some of my friends to review it to make sure the captions weren't going too fast and the general consensus was this is a good app! While it does lag a little it follows your words really good. This surprised me honestly because I do talk a little fast but it picked up pretty well. Also its almost 100% accurate! I only had to correct a couple of words. Editing captions is a bit of a pain if I'm honest because it gets a little slow and laggy when typing but overall pretty good. If I could recommend any changes its less lag when fixing captions and maybe a way to make sure the words match up 100% when speaking. Otherwise I love this app and I've already begun to recommend it to everyone I know!.Version: 1.25

I wish they would automatically fill the screen and I wish there was more control over what photos are picked. Like it just gives you a set of random photos. This part of the app needs work. 2)I think there should be an auto emoji caption template. You can add emojis now but it takes forever. Of course it’s not perfect — but neither is any other translation software. I love that most names/ cities/ countries are also transcribed correctly, being a political reporter — it’s very important for me. I used to use other apps and had to constantly correct names of people and cities in the script … don’t have to do it here. It’s a great app. Keep in mind — it’s a start up. My only frustration with the app is that you can only export videos in 30FPS. I make my videos in 60FPS to make them extra fluid but there is no option for this. ✓ Almost an EXCELLENT appFirst of all this app is VERY good if it would work properly and had a couple extra features. My main problem lies in the fact that it doesn’t support the new video format on iPhones so after all the captions are done it saves the video and suddenly the entire video turns orange. My second problem is sometimes it doesn’t detect the audio for some reason and I haven’t been able to find a way around this. Even if I take another audio from a video that worked and then put it together it still won’t work. My last issue/feature I wish they had is you can’t place the captions in a particular spot. I LOVE how the automatically make some words big and small (would love to have more control over this in the future) but you can’t move the batch of words around. So they all end up in the top left corner and if I happen to film a video where my face is mostly in the top left corner, then all the captions cover my face. With that said, when it works smoothly, the CC on this app looks FANTASTIC. It’s easy to go back and edit words that it picked up incorrectly, but it gets about 90% of the words correct which is amazing. It pauses when you pause, and is aesthetically very pleasing as you can also change the color of the font..Version: 1.11

✓ Love this!I was recommended to this by a colleague and just love it. I record content for LinkedIn and have been using Otter but it is only about 80% accurate and needs a lot of editing. So far Captions has been perfect and even though I speak very fast it hasn’t slipped up once yet. The app is really easy to use and I love the extra features like eye contact. ✓ Great captions, but stitch is brokenUPDATE: I’ve grown from 8 to 6k followers in the past couple weeks, and I never would have had the patience to caption the quantity of content needed for that growth without this app. The developer continues to improve it, and it gets less buggy with each update. First off, this app is amazing. The captions appear with your words, so you don’t have to worry about manually timing them. Since it’s designed just for the caption feature, it doesn’t have all the “close friends” nonsense of Threads. Also, unlike that one, you can choose your caption style and import videos made in other apps. You can also export directly to whatever app, like TikTok or Insta or whatever, or save to your camera roll. There are a few bugs. I find sometimes it hangs and only a full tablet restart makes the app useable again. But the developers have been very responsive to bug reports and I expect this to be resolved as well. Highly recommended to make your videos both more accessible, and watchable for people with sound off. Much better than Threads for the purpose..Version: 1.18
✓ Magic!!First commercial video I posted for a company I work for helped immensely with engagement and the video got over 10,000 Likes. Way too easy to use and believe it or not it has been by far the most accurate at generating captions with minimal errors. EVEN New Zealand & Australian accents! Compared to the alternatives. ✓ Maybe they need some AI to fix the AI.The app worked fine for a few days as soon as I paid for the subscription, it stop working properly. It captions words whole phrases out of order. Skips phrases and then puts them back somewhere else in the sequence. It prematurely beeped out the cuss words so you would hear a beep and then a couple of ticks later the cuss word would come through. Trying to edit the words that the AI gets wrong is cumbersome. I emailed the company I got a notice that they would get back to me the next day I got no response I tried other caption apps they had no problem, capturing the words in the right places. I even went to my video editing, software and chopped up the video and spread them out with spaces to give the app more time to put the words in the proper places and still have the same problems. I love the way the software’s karaoke feature looks but it’s costing me more time then, it should. I’m hoping it’s something that could be fixed because it was a lot of fun for a couple of days..Version: 9.52

✓ Threads, but better.It's basically a superior version of threads in every way- ability to adjust words if it mistranslates, able to export more than 15 seconds (seriously why does threads do that? It already captioned the whole video), same threads visual style that really boosts engagement and view time by "writing" the words one at a time. (Plus different styles if that's not what you want!). 10/10. A future improvement I'd love to see is the ability to move the caption placements by time (ie set a marker on the time line and be able to move the caption placement at that point forward in case suddenly the captions are in the way of your subject).Version: 1.23
