✓ Be careful’ this app has hiding purposes.Today, I was informed by a Geico representative that our family is been charged charges based on this application record. It sounds like this app is used to invade the client’s privacy. They said it keeps record of how many time you abruptly stop your car while driving, if you use your cell phone while driving, etc.. this is unacceptable. Be careful and do not authorize this GPS on your devices. It has huffing purposes. I did not authorized it..Version: 1.2.0
✓ Has IssuesIt works alright but it doesn’t sense the Cornering and Smoothness function properly, I even tried turning like a 90 yr old person still can’t get a good cornering score and for the Smoothness function if you’re in in town traffic with a lot of stop lights it’s going to ding your Smoothness score, it’s working alright and saving me money but it needs a lot of issues worked out..Version: 1.2.0
✓ The Driveeasy app was DISABLED by GeicoThe Driveeasy app has been replaced by the general Geico app, which now includes the Driveeasy functions. Most Geico personnel don’t know this fact. They will connect you to tech support that also doesn’t know this. Very discouraging that they still let you download a disabled app. Pathetic, really..Version: 1.2.0
✓ This app is a trashImpossible to create a new account—keeps showing me the message telling me that there’s no associated account with the user info even though I’m under their policy. Customer representatives couldn’t solve the problem either. Just don’t ever opt in for GEICO Easy Drive policy. It will only give you a headache and waste your time..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Poorly designedThe app assumes I am driving even if I am a passenger so I get dinged if I use my phone. There is no way to temporarily turn it off without having to turn off location tracking which is a hassle. It would be nice if the app could read whether CarPlay is active or if Bluetooth connection to the car was active to determine I am driving. I wish uninstalling this app didn’t impact my discount. ✓ Bad. Really really bad app.The main Geico app and this app isn’t syncing or talking to each other. I downloaded this app and messed up my existing Geico app, it’s not recognizing my number anymore. Besides that it deleted my family members from the DE program and getting them back on needs serious intervention by a wizard. Needles to say all of my family and I are not I the program anymore because we’ll, we can’t get back on it. Sigh..Version: 1.1.0

✓ App is flawedDon’t hit a yellow light and stop it will ding you for slowing down too fast and forget it if someone cuts you off! Any time someone else drives like a moron you adapt to their driving to get out of their way. This app will ding your score for all the wrong reasons. One way to avoid getting a breaking too fast is to roll through the stop sign or light. Not a very good promotion of driving defensively, more like how many accidents can you cause by holding up traffic. Acceleration is also an issue when you start in first gear. Got dinged for going too fast from 0-8 mph in 1.8 seconds. This application is just a way for Geico to charge you more based on the way the rest of the idiots on the road drive not the way you drive. The app is perfect if you were the only one an the road and the yellow lights lasted long enough for you to slow down in time to stop slowly. Worst idea ever Geico!.Version: 1.2.0
✓ Flawed: App causes you to pick up phoneThis app interferes with map directions. It appears that the app and map are competing for the same resources; thus, the map program is slow and delayed. This of course leads you off course and forces you to pick up the phone to find out if you are on course or if you need to turn around. You’re dinged every time you handle phone so how does this application promote safety. Seriously, this program will cause accidents if it competes with google or Apple Maps..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Cant activate appLike another reviewer, I can’t activate the app because it doesn’t recognize my phone number even though it’s in my GEICO app and policy. I can still get the trip data though through the GEICO app. Another TERRIBLE feature is the using your phone while driving. I wiped out my good score because my phone moved and fell onto the floor. At no time did I use my phone but ANY movement gets interpreted as phone use and resets your score. Come on GEICO, FIX THIS..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Drive Easy is a cool idea but needs workI like the idea of this but the drive easy definitely needs to be adjusted. Frequent hard braking counts when in stop and go traffic. Also, I don’t think it recognizes the idea of a roundabout. I literally have one at the bottom of my street but drive easy like to count it as “uncontrolled” turning. Last I checked I’m not drifting my Subaru Outback around the 1 lane roundabout. Please fix because my score is going down ever day regardless of how slow I go..Version: 1.1.0

✓ HummmThe idea is fine, but it needs fixes that go with reality, there are cornering where you go below the 25 limit and you go 20 with a lot of traffic, the curve is safe at those two speeds, but if you lower the speed you are risking having an accident, the application does not understand that, it has a map that says what there is a cornering and if you did not reduce the speed, you are bad according to the application, that is very dangerous and of course it can produce an accident, the same is repeated with the smoothness of the handling, not as much as the cornering , the rest is fine, it is just adapting!!!!.Version: 1.1.0
✓ BadThey cannot be trusted with insurance They will avoid paying when a problem occurs. Their funny commercials on TV are really laughing at you. ✓ Absolutely not!Will not accept my phone number to link. I didn’t realize what an invasion of privacy this program would be. I drive a company vehicle for most of my day and there is no way to differentiate when it’s my personal vehicle (the one covered by my insurance) or the company vehicle. Plus I have an issue with GEICO having so much access to my phone even when I’m not driving. I kept this program a while 5 hours.
