✓ It used to be kinda good until nowI used to have this a while back and I was able to have like half of the stuff they had for free even some of the cool stuff until the update where they made it so I can only use 1 quarter of there library even some of the stuff people didint really use (at least I didint) got updated so you have to buy it so just don’t get it.Version: 3.1
✓ A few things…So, this seems like a cool app and I’d like to purchase a subscription to it. But I do a have a problem with the app. I’d like to use the free features first to see if this is what I want to invest in. But it always freezes on the ads and I have to close the app, so I never get to actually try the FX to see how they look. Anyway to fix this?.Version: 3.8.0
✓ BadThis app is so bad when I record videos on it it turns side ways and that’s sooo annoying . There’s always an advert when I click on something and if you see an effect that you want on the front page you have to pay for so don’t get the app your just waistline your time.Version: 3.8.0

✓ Good but too much subscriptionsI downloaded this and the effects are good, but you have to pay for like everything. I only got to use 2 effects, and I would like to add layers to make more of a cooler video but there is nothing on here like that. The app is physically not letting me use it, I’m deleting this until I get rid of the paid stuff. ✓ Why the subscription?In my opinion, all the effects on the app are awesome and have real potential, but why would you lock like 80% of them behind a paywall?? Look, I would be able to understand if the subscription was maybe $10 a month maybe 15.. but $5 a week??? For a mobile app?? I downloaded this thinking it could improve my filmmaking ability but most of the effects I would use are locked behind a $5 a week paywall. ✓ This shouldn’t be a subscriptionThe effects are all right, or at least the one I tried was, because it took me a while to find one that would work in the free version, and when I finally did, it had the gall to make me sit through an ad first, as if locking away the vast majority of effects wasn’t enough. I was also disappointed that it didn’t react to my movements in real time; it was just an overlay that went over the video, with it telling me when to open my hand. My primary complaint, however, is the pricing model. There’s no way to just buy it; the only option is to subscribe, for $4.99 per week. Yes, I said per WEEK, not per month. That is absolutely overpriced. Like I said, it shouldn’t even have to be a subscription, let alone one that costs that much. There is a three-day trial…but when I went to enable it, it increased the price of the subscription to $5.99. What, are they trying to discourage people from trying the pro subscription to see if they like it before they pay for it? Besides being obnoxious, it makes me feel like they aren’t confident in the quality or something..Version: 2.11.2
✓ Cool effects but too many adsI was looking for an app with only special effects. This was what I was looking for… The effects are cool and all but whenever you try to film or save a video an ad will play…and the exit button doesn’t work. I was filming an iMovie trailer with this app and it took me 2 hours because of the dumb ads and their broken exit buttons. Because of that I had to film again many times until their was an ad with a working exit button. Please fix. 🙁.Version: 3.8.0

✓ It’s ok but could be better…I use Shot FX for the movies me and my friends film but the Shot FX logo shows up on the screen and it’s really tedious to have to crop it out. If there is a way to get rid of the logo I hope to find it. Plus none of the effects look real so it’s embarrassing to use them in our movies. There aren’t a lot of apps like this but the ones that are have at least 75% of everything free. If you read my review please do not download it. It is not good..Version: 3.0

You can’t even save a video with out it asking you to pay and if you click the “X” then you can’t save the video. I honestly think this was a waste of space. ✓ Cool app but wish there was more of an application for short films.This app is great and has some really awesome effects however it has most of the effects locked in a portrait orientation in your phone. Idk about anyone else but I’ve never shot a film not in landscape so unless you’re shooting tik toks or something most of the effects in this app are worthless..Version: 2.7.1

✓ Good game, but…….I like this game and the effects are really realistic, but I hate how you have to buy premium in order to unlock all of the good ones. I’d buy the pro if it was one payment, but it wants you to pay MONTHLY, but it is unplayable unless you buy it. Another thing, the people it show doing it make it look easy. I did the “changing in the sky” effect, but the things it showed in the video were WAY different, and the little white power ball it showed was MISSING, and it is impossible unless you use a tripod. And if you don’t have pro, you only have access to probably 20 effects out of about 200. Also, the people who made this app should come up with more ideas of their own instead of using ideas from movies like iron man, Harry Potter, and Thor, and any other trademarked ideas. I am going to say, I do like the one that copies off the beginning of Thor ragnarok, but some contents, as usual, are missing. Overall, I hope this app can make some changes, because it has a lot of potential..Version: 2.13.1
