✓ Nostalgic!I’ve ALWAYS loved Cooking Mama, ever since I was a little kid! As a matter of fact, it’s my favorite game series! I actually got Apple Arcade exclusively to play this. I just wish there were more recipes! That being said, I completely understand that mobile games have a pretty limited amount of space and computing power to work with. ✓ Nostalgic and FunI’ve been playing Cooking Mama games since they came out on the original DS. Brings back great memories, and gives me something simple to do to pass the time. Anyone who’s complaining obviously doesn’t have the same connection to the original, which is fine, but I honestly think this is still a great game in its own right. The new feature are nice and they bring something different to the game. Customization is fun, and finding the recipes makes it seem more true to real life - where you have to figure out what you can make with what you have on hand..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Amazingly good fun, although I have improvement ideasSo I have played this for a few hours and this is amazing although I have some ways they can improve: 1. Showing when you pick the ingredients if you have made that recipe or not 2. Slower timer for kneeling stuff because it’s a bit fast 3. A settings option to turn of timer, but to help out the game this can give you no stars at this end. So this could be a feature to help practice certain skills! 4. Allow you to chop faster when you have to slide your finger down the screen. The game is amazing apart from some things, keep it up developer(s)!.Version: 1.0

✓ Feels too EasyI remember it being a bit harder on the DS version, this feels dummed down. It’s a lot easier to get 3 stars than it was to get a gold metal the only thing that makes it “hard” is lack of instructions. Graphics are beautiful though art is well done very customizable. ✓ Finally a good new cooking mama game 😭I’ve been waiting for this for so long, and it even did something I wasn’t expecting: made a lot of recipes vegan ! As a vegan I appreciate it a lot since it makes me be able to enjoy this game like I used to without thinking on animal abuse propaganda, I was very surprised, soy milk, vegan butter, vegan mayonnaise, coconut milk etc appear even as secondary ingredients not listed on the menu 😭❤️ I love y’all so much please know this choice was a very good choice and I’ll forever love whoever made that decision thanks so much!! Also the game is very fun and the way you choose the ingredients and you don’t know what ur making til the end makes it very fun, and you can check the recipes in 3d afterwards and all! Also the difficulty is challenging unlike the let’s cook one which was sooo easy it wasn’t even fun, and there’s a fair bit of voice acting which makes it more interactive, also the visuals and sound choices are very well made like the original old school ones. Also let’s you choose the skin color for your hands!! It’s like the old games but better imo, finally!!.Version: 1.0
✓ WonderfulI have almost completed the game with almost every recipe at 3 stars and it is amazing! I have no complaints only suggestions. First of can we start choosing if we want to wear the bandannas or not. I find it hard to style mama sometimes because of the bandannas. Also u would like more recipes preferably baking because I’m a pretty terrible cook but this game has help boost my confidence to work on it! ✓ Feels so nostalgic but also freshI’m loving this game so far! I’ve played a couple hours and it’s bringing me back to the good old days of playing cooking mama on my Wii with my little sisters. BUT, I love all the freshness that it also brings, like discovering recipes and customizing your kitchen/tools/etc. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cooking mama mobile app they had released in the past, because it felt very overwhelming and the in-app purchases would take out a lot of the gameplay, but this one is awesome! ✓ Amazing, but we need the other ingredients!I love this game and happily play it once a day or so, but I’m now just pointlessly waiting for them to let me have the other ingredients/tools we need to fill the recipe book… I just get the same things every day, so it’s not fun after a while. What would also improve the game is, as others have suggested, being able to see if you’ve made it before or not when you select a number of ingredients. ✓ Best cooking game ever!!!This is really fun and I enjoy playing it a lot. The game runs super smoothly on my iPad (2019 iPad 7th generation). The one thing that about this game that I don’t like however is the limitation of recipes that you can make. So I was really excited when I saw that the CookingMama: Cuisine developers released a brand new update last Monday which said that there are new ingredients to use which is great. ✓ Love, love, loveI’ve always loved cooking games, since I was a kid being able to mix ingredients and cut vegetables and fruits has always been fun. This takes me back to that time and is a great stress reliever!! There’s very few games like this and it’s sad really but thankful this one keeps it as close to cooking s as possible!! I own all recipes and I think that is my only complaint, we need more recipes! I’m ok buying them because they are really cheap and it’s worth the ongoing uniqueness of the game! With so many new foods, cuisines out there leaves you an opportunity to add so many more recipes! I don’t care for the side games but I do play them just to get the ingredients! Now that I’m all grown up, however, I’d love it to be just a bit more challenging… make me work for those stars! Features I’d love to see: - Expert mode. Once you’ve finished all of the recipes, make them HARD. Easiest way to do this would be cutting down the time for each stage (by up to ⅓). Alternatively, remove some of the cues so you have to complete each micro game by memory, or require TRUE perfection (no cracked eggs here!) -Utilize more haptics. Some vibration during grinding/grating/etc. would be easy. -Motion capture! Make me shake my phone to cook that pork chop! Cooking Mama DS was great because of how it utilized the touch screen. We have futuristic technology in our pockets now! I crave an immersive faux cooking experience. -Nostalgic OG Mama voice option. This Mama is not MY Mama… I want to hear her cute Japanese-robot voice insulting my sausage-cutting skills. Why is this game so entertaining? Even if I’ve aced all the recipes, I still keep cooking!
