✓ GlitchyThe app glitches constantly, it shuts down and I have to restart it. It doesn’t remember any of the shows I watch so I have to go through and manually select them every time. The “continue watching” list is never what I’ve actually been watching. You expect a good user experience from a company of this caliber, but it’s just not there. Also a lot of the shows don’t drop consistently. Or they just randomly stop midseason. Weird..MHoff444Version: 1.16

✓ Portrait Orientation OnlyThis app is identified as working well for an iPad but only if you want to use it and hold your device in portrait mode. Its clearly intended for a phone rather than iPad. I don’t know about anyone else but my case is not designed to hold my device in portrait mode but in landscape and this app just like instagram is portrait only. So — I wont be using it. Phone too small for good viewing and not a good user experience on my iPad. So disappointed..BoonduggyVersion: 1.0.0

✓ Great content but glitchy appI only use this app to stream a show via ChromeCast. While I’m streaming I can’t open the app without it starting the show over. Then I have to click on the cast symbol then click the picture and then it brings me to a screen where I can tell it to go back where I was which all takes too long. I have to try to remember to navigate away from the app while I watch and never need to pause. Please fix this!.Kristina WelchVersion: 1.5.1

✓ App is not user-friendly, whatsoverShopping through this app is miserable! There’s a ridiculous delay for every single item you click on or add to your cart and the “search” feature is near impossible to locate! It’s at the very bottom of your screen where you have to scroll allll the way down to where you’d find the “Help” section. Not user friendly AT . ALL. Most of the time I receive an error when Im trying to shop until I ultimately just give up. ✓ Sign in page fails to loadI’d like to start by saying I love the content in the app, however, every time I try to sign in with my iPad, the sign in page fails to load. It won’t allow me to sign in even after refreshing multiple times. It does this too on my iPhone but not as many times... I also have trouble resuming an episode because the page won’t load. ✓ New App stinks!First I tried renewing my magazine subscription. Nope. Can’t. Apparently my name is on their system twice so I have to have my subscription number - which is printed on the wrapper you throw away and not on the magazine. Great. I will not be getting any more issues - so now I have to call to try to work out the problem. Then I filled my cart with over $200 in items to purchase. I clicked “proceed to check out.” It won’t proceed. Instead I get an error that Shopify says the item doesn’t exist. So one by one I remove each item - hoping to find the one that doesn’t exist. But apparently none of them exist. So empty cart and no way to purchase what I wanted. Done. Not impressed with the app and don’t want to waste any more of my time on it to find out what else doesn’t work..Love Magnolia - not the appVersion: 1.0.4

✓ No download optionI know its hard to believe, but there are actually lots of people who have to go sit at a McDonalds to submit school work or attend zoom calls. The least a subscription could offer is a downloadable content option so i can view some feel-good shows while lying on my couch at home, or have something new for the kids to watch on a long drive. One star for Magnolia and Discovery Plus until the change is made. It’s a little ridiculous that they chose not to include downloads in their apps. ✓ I deleted the appOnce upon a time you were my favorite show. My daughter even flew three of us to Waco so we could visit Magnolia. We bought so much that we had to ship some of it home. I never missed an episode. But , sad to say you went away; at least for me you did. I didn’t know, at first, we had to pay. Was so excited to get to see you again, but that didn’t last. I had to delete the app because I just can’t add the cost to my cable bill. I’m 78 years old and just watching basic cable. So just like that….ZAP……gone. ✓ Magnolia- can no longer watch in AppThe Magnolia app seemed to have removed the capability to watch their Network through the app. I had no idea that was happening!! I have discovery+ but could never watch anything through it since the app doesn’t allow you to cast to your chromecast on your TV. I first contacted support in early October and was told that this was a known problem and that tech was “working on it.” There’s been no improvement since—all I get is a black screen when I open it—and there’s been no follow-up from you. ✓ Looking for recipesI just opened the app after its recent update, and I actually saw a section that said find a recipe. Unfortunately, it wasn’t visible when I went to another section and went back to the beginning. This has been happening for months now. Then I went to the help section and tried to send an email. ✓ Good content So-So techI had a hard time getting to watch the workshop videos. Many times it just shut down the app so I uninstalled the app & reinstalled it. It worked for a couple videos but then shut off again mid-video. ✓ Streaming is troublesomeThe streaming for the app is a little tedious. You can’t fast forward, rewind, etc. while streaming. If you try to it starts the episode over and you’re kind of stuck. Also, it may be beneficial to continue playing episodes after you’ve finished one rather than a blank screen waiting for you to click on the next episode. ✓ Damaged Items-No RefundYou would think people who show such great hearts on tv would resemble that through their shop. Unfortunately, this is not so when it comes to their customer service. Received damaged items and told I had to ship back in order to get any refund. I bought these and received just in time. As I am moving with no address due to where we are going, I cannot wait for a return. Very disappointed!
