✓ Very limited and higher price than statedThis is frustrating. Within 10 minutes 5yo had done everything that could be done with free app, and wanted me to buy further content. This review states it’s $19.99, but in app it’s $30.99. Then we have no idea what we are getting and if it’s another 10 minutes of entertainment, that’s a rip off. ✓ Absolute cash grabLike the plain Duplo app, this one is very light on actual meaningful game play. The additional packs are overpriced and what you actually get is thin on the ground. ✓ It’s great but cannot share across accountsMy kids share my iPad sometimes to play the regular DUPLO which allows family sharing, but the marvel version appears to not work across family sharing, the kids don’t understand why they cannot play it on the iPad like they can the other one, poor things don’t get it when I say, “the app developers didn’t ship consistency in family sharing as a MVP requirement when building marvel; maybe a later version”.Version: 1.0.2

✓ Hulk game … fight sandman then what????After my toddler asking over and over and over again for the hulk game I finally gave in and paid ALMOST £5 for this game. He enjoyed the game for around 10/15 mins before telling me it was broken and gave me back my phone … while he was off playing I decided to have a go. I defeated the sand guy but could not work out the purpose of building the houses? After fighting the sand person 5 times he decided enough was enough and didn’t show up again. The littler builders went on strike and stopped delivering more pieces so I couldn’t even finish building the flat houses. The whole concept of this game could be soooooo much better!!!! ✓ Kills your phoneContent wise my kid loves the different activities and we love the spidey and captain America packs The reason this is 1 star is because within 2-5 minutes my phone (13 pro max) is burning to the touch. No other game does this to the phone. A DUPLO kids game should not have me concerned about destroying my phone or having the kid injured (unlikely). Maybe the game needs better device optimization or something, but it is a shame because the game is actually really good for the kid. ✓ Start screen needs workMy child loves the other Lego apps so I purchased this one for her to. Everything is great quality just like the other ones except for the splash screen. Having the coming soon Hulk game is extremely frustrating to the kids. This app is targeted for very young toddlers and they don’t understand the coming soon notion. She gets extremely frustrated and starts crying because Hulk won’t start and it’s so big on the screen. ✓ Money scammers!!We were paying to unlock features at 4.99 a pack. Extortion but it was fine because they introduce things so rarely. Now to unlock everything it’s 4.99 a month to subscribe with no option to buy packs instead and have access forever. No automatic refund for the £15 already spent unlocking everything!! It’s an absolute joke and they’ve done it with the Mickey app as well and undoubtedly will do it on the main duplo app which I’ve spent way more on. I intend to complain and try and get a refund for the £30 spent across the two apps they are forcing subscription on to unlock everything. And is it worth it? Absolutely not. Just another way to fleece parents when their little ones get confused and stressed at locked games. Let’s remember these are for toddlers mainly. You can, of course, contact the developer who initially is very happy to try and help, then it seems to get too difficult, nothing happens and they stop replying when you ask for an update. ✓ $20 for what?There were promises of new games throughout the year and $20 would get you access to all of them as they showed up. They made it sound like you would be getting a deal by paying the $20 up front. It’s almost April now. We’re almost 1/4 of the way through the year. At the rate these “new games” are coming out…I would venture to say this was false advertising. To say I’m frustrated with this is putting it lightly. More than anything I feel like I got swindled and ripped off.
