✓ Great fun, beautiful graphics!This is literally my first app review ever. I really enjoyed this game, in fact I wish it was longer. Not saying I didn’t spend a lot of time going through the levels and beating the “bosses”, just wish I could have kept playing - it was that great! The graphics are so cute and colorful, actually reminds me of vintage Disney background art. My only complaint would be on the last boss level, it’s quite difficult and once you die you go back to the very beginning of the fight instead of just back 1 “step” (there are 3 health bars to destroy)so I had to keep stopping and then later coming back to the game because of my frustration. I finally got through it though and then had fun going back through the levels and getting all of the achievements, which was also challenging in a good way..Version: 1.0
✓ Best Viking gameOddmar is a great interpretation of Norse mythology, it follows Oddmar, a ridiculed Viking that doesn’t help. He gains fighting ability for a place in Valhalla, some of the characters that make an appearance in boss battles are the kraken, Loki, and more! The gameplay is reminiscent of 90s games, plus the graphics are hand-drawn. The writing is charming and the story is like a Norse story. Games like this are why Apple Arcade is great. I like how they have paid mobile games and put them on Apple Arcade..Version: 1.0

✓ One of the best9/10, one of the best games on Apple Arcade and a competitive platformer- This is a Classic style platformer that takes you on a journey through Viking lore. Excellent, highly polished graphics, graphic novel style cut scenes that tell a simple but entertaining story, obviously made with love and care. The simple and clean art style found in general gameplay are perfectly suited for a platformer. The actions are simple to use and is a combination of jumping, dodging and attacking in a small variety of ways. The gameplay isn’t a constant punishment like other platformer but the bosses can challenging but not an impossible task. Your weapons can be upgraded throughout, the balance of coin collection and purchasing upgrades is good and you often do not have the money to by everything and need to choose between items. The story is relatively short and can be completed in a few hours, however, it’s a good length for a mobile game. Post story, the levels remain active which you can dip back into to complete the game 100%, for example collecting all the coins, completing certain levels within a certain time limit and collecting hidden coins. Overall, it’s a brilliant, high level platformer worthy of a more in-depth sequel..Version: 1.0

They’re not too bad when your just playing as oggmar but when your riding the boat to run, jump and dash quickly doesn’t register sometimes and you keep dying. Have downloaded on the Apple TV 4K, but for some reason despite switching profiles on the TV, the game always logs my game account in to play and therefore isn’t allowing my kids to play. All other games on Apple TV will log in the correct game account based on profile, so it seems specific to Oddmar+. It is great that when you collect stars and other things to find you don't have to start over from the beginning, but from the last checkpoint or add on to what you collected when you replay a level. The boss levels and "secret" levels are also not too difficult, so they are also fun to play. Good humor in the story and animation. Fun for a range of ages..Version: 1.1
✓ A fun game, but I don't think I'll be going back to itThis is a good game. The story of the game was interesting, keeping me entertained throughout. It's no Mass Effect in terms of story, but its entertaining. The levels actually get a little creative with having to use your limited abilities to get through obstacles. Although very few are unoriginal and some rely at some not-so-great gimmicks, they don't make it horrendously bad since those gimmicks last for just a little bit. Also, the art is wonderful, from the snow, the trees, or the deep caves, they all look magnificent to look at and are stylized without losing the fact that it's still fantasy-related. But the problems within its short campaign. I am very glad that I played this game without the cost of 5 dollars because this is frankly too short for me to play over and over again. There's not that much to keep me interested. If there were a lot of levels, it would be much better because it plays into the factor that I am playing this on a phone with short missions to tackle when I'm on the bus or a plane. I just don't see myself going back to this honestly, it's a great game, sure. But it ain't worth that scummy price of $5..Version: 1.0
