✓ Really BuggyThis app at its current time is really buggy when using it with an iPhone. For $12, I expect it to be more polished. Tapping to click only works sometimes, double tap to right click doesn’t work at all. ✓ Mis advertised - not really a great solutionBought this on the back of what looks now to be a paid for YouTube video. Yes it does extend your display to an external Monitor but only the app itself which contains a cutdown browser (playing videos within the browser is not possible) a calculator and a pdf viewer. The PDFs cannot be viewed within the browser. This app creates more problems than what it solves. I wish there was a way to get a refund because this spent 30th it’s on my iPad whilst I uncovered all its limitations and then was promptly deleted.Version: 1.0

✓ Microsoft Word not workingI wanted to use this app for multitasking while plugged into a monitor and I was annoyed when this app wouldn’t let me open Word. The app shows Word as one of the supported apps but it is grayed out. Also I was highly disappointed that you couldn’t use any app that you have downloaded. Better off just using the an iPad via HDMI with the regular resolution then this app. Cool concept but not quite there yet. You can use a browser for very basic browsing needs, there is a Slack icon that leads you to an “unsupported browser” page, and a calculator. The calculator and Notion works I suppose. ✓ Does it expand and extend…So yes this app expands and gets rid of the black sidebars but it really is almost completely unusable. The catch is that you have to open this app and keep it opened in order to use the full screen. The other problem is that you can only use the full screen expanded with the apps that are included in the app itself ONLY! Very Very Basic apps. So all other apps you have on your ipad will not work with this app therefore rendering this app almost useless. Also, I wish I knew ios16 fixed this problem already in their beta so I just paid $8 for nothing at all. Not the developers fault. ✓ Not useful as second displayI was thinking that this application will make my monitor second desktop, but this not happen. This app is kind a virtual desktop which is not that i want. Even in first 10 min a was trying to understand how the app is working. The app using the application that are pre install, not the application from the iPad. This is useless as well. ✓ FeaturesOn the plus side you can get a full screen of your iPad mirrored on the monitor. You can only get access to a few apps when you use shift screen, which is a big issue especially when trying to use it for work. The files app can not be accessed. Your best bet is through a web browser. Although there is the option to use multiple desktops, I couldn’t get that to work. There is the option of split screen, it splits the screen on the actual monitor but no feature of arranging different data on the different screens. In the end, I had to abandon it. Probably better to connect the iPad to the monitor without an additional app. No need to waste money. May be one day Shift screen will get there, but not at the moment..Version: 1.0

✓ IPhone Version Still Needs WorkI bought this to turn my iPhone in to the ultimate all in one device that I need. This aids biggest flaw is that there is no 3rd part mouse support. The only way to use a mouse is to put shiftscreen into “Display Trackpad Mode” which lets you have a cursor on your phone but it won’t show on the monitor. And turning you iPhone into the mouse isn’t as intuitive as you’d like. The best solution right now is if Shiftscreen would mirror the circle mouse that Apple uses when in “Display Trackpad Mode”. A circle mouse is wayyy better than no mouse when trying to use an iPhone with a monitor..Version: 1.0

✓ Needs lots of workThe idea behind the app is awesome. It certainly has increased the productivity of my iPad Air with the keyboard and mouse. I use it with my Notion account to take notes on documents and researching on the internet. HOWEVER, the app is very glitchy (so the code is probably not at all optimised). The pdf viewer cuts off pages for certain documents and doesn’t bread the pages down. IT REALLY NEEDS A LOT OF WORK! It needs to have MS office support (I think it’s part of the product roadmap). But before that it needs to fix the glitchy stuttering issue, and fix the PDF viewer. I would not purchase this (I sadly regret paying for it). It really is in Beta form, and should have been released as such with the option for voluntary donation to the developer. I hope the developer dedicates some time get it to a polished stage. I really can see this app becoming a must have for those who wants to extend their productivity of their IPad..Version: 1.0

My biggest irk is that when I use another app then jump back to Shiftscreen 4x that the shiftscreen app freezes and cannot be used.
