✓ Complete scam. Don’t fall for it like I did.Got the tracker and the bracelet, after a 5 days still no movement on the tracker, the bracelet is cheap painted plastic that the paint has started to wash off of. And just now I saw an ad for fahlo with a demonstration map that has the EXACT track patterning as my “shark” only completely finished so I’m guessing if my map ever updates it’s pre programmed. So damn disappointing, I can only hope the money actually went to a charity however unlikely..Version: 1.2.8
✓ New app updateI absolutely loved this. My son got me an elephant for Christmas so I recently bought 4 more. I logged in to track the new animals and the app isn’t working correctly. It says to click and drag. It won’t drag. You supposedly can scroll up to see the animal profiles but it won’t scroll. Two of the animals are no longer traceable? I sent them a help ticket and am awaiting response. I would not download or purchase until this is figured out. :( As a side note, the pictures included in the above advertisement is the old version. It was awesome. That’s why I bought 4 more. People complaining about why it’s not a current location is because it’s delayed due to poaching, people trying to find their animal, etc. That is explained on the card they should’ve received and on the animals profile (if you can get to it with the new update. I was not able to get to their profiles now) I tried turning my phone on/off. I deleted the app and re-downloaded and still no success. … **** UPDATE**** I did reach out to customer service and they were able to get the app going like I’m used to. Amazing and fast customer service! I know I’ll be getting more in the future. And it’s for a great cause.Version: 2.0.10

✓ App very broken, trackers constantly break, deadnamingApp constantly has UI issues, animal’s map is completely uncheckable very frequently and support’s advice is to just uninstall and reinstall the app. It works for a short amount of time and the same issue comes back. This gets so irritating. Sometimes the fact page is also un-clickable as well. The app needs an overhaul to fix these issues and it would be nice to have more expansive descriptions of the sponsored animals and their species in general. Over the span of just under two months, I’ve had two animals’ trackers stop working and have had to contact support for a different animal to sponsor. I understand that trackers break but this is a little bit much. Support has been helpful and generous by replacing my sponsor when this has happened and that is the only reason that I’m not giving my experience a one star rating. My one complaint with this particular issue is that there is no choice and the replacement sponsor is just assigned from the species you initially selected. I really do not recommend sponsoring penguins, as the trackers seem to have the most issues here. The bracelets are also a cute touch! I would feel uncomfortable contacting support with inevitable future problems due to an incident with deadnaming via email. I corrected the support member and they continued to deadname me until I responded in a not so polite fashion. I doubt that this was intentional due to my email address containing my deadname but it was careless and unkind regardless and I signed off with my chosen name each time. I would love this app and company so much more with bug fixes, improvement on trackers and tact. I hope that you receive the funding and have the time to be able to fix these issues!.Version: 1.1.7
✓ No way to contact Fahlo?My kids got bracelets for Christmas and they love to check on their animals. It really is fun to see how far they travel! But…. My daughter got a sea turtle bracelet and the transmitter stopped working so Fahlo automatically reassigned a different turtle. It updated almost every single day and it suddenly stopped and has not updated in 20 days. There is no way to contact Fahlo to report a bug or issue on the app. The buttons are there but not linked. Transmitters can stop working for a time if they get algae on them or something is blocking the signal. I’m hoping that either this turtle begins transmitting location again or my daughter gets yet another turtle assigned to her since she has only had the bracelet for less than two months..Version: 2.0.3
✓ Good But The New Update…So I got my first ever bracket 1 year ago and I love my sea turtle! I got some more over time and I was so happy to have more animals to track and knowing that buying the brackets went to a good cause. But then the new update rolls around and the app was working for a good couple of days until I went to go show my friend my dolphin. I click on the map and it says error so i brushed it off and didn’t think much of it. Then a week goes by and i’m surely thinking it was just a short error. So i go back into the app and I still can’t track my animals. I did some research to see if it was just me having the issues but no. Pretty much everyone is having this issue because of the new update. I can’t wait for it to be fixed so I can check up on all of my animals. ✨.Version: 2.0.6
✓ AngryI had a penguin that stopped sending signals after a month of seeing it. Then I got a replacement penguin called waterfront, then the app updates and all of a sudden my old penguin is back and it wants me to buy a replacement as mine is no longer there?!?!?.Version: 1.2.9

✓ Cannot login after new updateNew update is absolutely shocking. Won’t let me log into the app since I updated it recently. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I get thrown an error message on the first page saying “Authentication Credentials were not provided”. What a joke.Version: 1.2.9
✓ Kinda basicThe app works okay for the most part, but when one of my penguin trackers failed after a few days, the app bugs out when I’m offered to redeem a new one. Convenient, I thought. It prompted me to contact Fahlo to arrange for new penguin to track via their website. Still no response after three weeks. And now the prompt to replace poor Regina has disappeared with the new app update. Now all I have is this lousy bracelet..Version: 1.2.9
✓ The updated app. No. Just no.I bought 4 of the bracelets for my family for a Christmas gift. 1 hadn’t been tracked for almost 2 months so it was replaced immediately for free. Love that, thank you! However, the app update and it’s just awful. The fisheye feel too it makes it almost impossible to see the path the animal is on/has taken. It’s so hard to look at anything and really be able to enjoy it. My nephews had a shark and a sea turtle and they loved being able to see them both at the same time and see how close they were as the old app allowed you to see all your tracked animals on the same screen. This new version doesn’t allow that. I wish it would go back to the old app. I hate this new version. Not user friendly at all..Version: 2.0.8
✓ Beautiful bracelet, bad app updateI’ve bought multiple of these bracelets and love every one of them. Before the app updated, if the tracker stopped working or something happened to the animal itself, you would get a new animal to track free of charge, now with this new update, it’s telling me to buy a whole new bracelet just to get a new animal. Mind you I’ve been able to get a new animal free of charge before the update. This has made me very disappointed in this company as it feels only like a cash grab now instead of being all about the animals..Version: 1.2.9

✓ If only it workedI can’t even create an account because every time it gets to my name, no matter what I type or even if I just try to skip it says something about authentication credentials weren’t provided. Then a random pop up said shake to give feedback so I did and it just disappeared. So far the app is useless and what’s more upsetting is it’s the only way to track the animal. And to top it all off, when I tried to email customer support for help with the only email address I could find it wasn’t a real/active address so I still haven’t gotten any help..Version: 2.0.10

✓ Used to have great customer service..but not now!My daughter has been collecting animal bracelets for a while now. Loves them! I have also purchase many for gifts. When an animal tracker stops working was then given a new animal to redeem. BUT not now! You have to purchase a new bracelet…seriously! One time I bought a bracelet and right away had to get a new animal..so that means you may never be able to get an animal from the new bracelet you purchase. Also for Christmas I ordered three bracelets and did not receive the shipment. Shows delivered but did not get delivered to me. I have contacted Fahlo many times through email and only get a response saying give them 24-48 hrs and they will contact me. NEVER do! Used to be my to go gift giving purchase and daughter requests. ✓ This is some kind of scamSo, my fiancé and my best friend both got me penguins to track. Awesome! For about 3 weeks…. One stops tracking and I’m automatically sent a new one. Cool. Second penguin stops tracking a week later. Again, got a new one. A little worried about these penguins losing trackers. When I lose another one a week later, they send another one which just happens to be the one I already have. Emailed support and they said, sorry we don’t have another penguin to track. What?!?! So there is only one penguin being tracked by the Global Penguin Society?!?! Then today, THAT penguin is no longer tracking so now I have NO PENGUINS!!!! They offered to follow another animal but what’s the point? I love penguins. Don’t waste your money. I’m thinking of reporting to BBB as a scam. So disappointing..Version: 2.0.5

✓ Can’t replace animal when it stops trackingSo I got a penguin bracelet for Christmas, and not even a month and a half later it stopped tracking my animal, which was expected because my Mom has the penguin and had to get the replacement animal every couple of months, however now it’s not even an option to redeem a new animal when it stops tracking it. It took me directly to the shop to buy a new bracelet. With the old app, when it stopped tracking the animal it would give you a replacement animal to track, which was okay, but now it won’t even give you the replacement. So you buy a bracelet to not even get three months out of the animal and have to buy a new one when it randomly stops tracking. I have 7 bracelets that I have bought and before the update have never had a problem where it takes me directly to the shop, it would give me a replacement and it made it feel like it wasn’t a waste of my money because I was given another animal. If no new replacements are given, despite buying the bracelet, this is becoming a ripoff and super risky to buy any animal that goes in the ocean because those are always the ones that stop tracking. I’ve been a customer for a while and have bought 7 bracelets as well as getting my entire family and three friends into this and having them buy their own as well, but if this is the new thing, I won’t be buying another and recommend they do the same. ✓ Major problemI was given the opportunity to use the site by a gift. I was given a penguin named Regina whose identity was lost I was then given another penguin whose name escapes me because I have been locked out of the site. I could not get back in because it did not recognise my username , my name or my password. I then lost my Apple password due to this site. Please can my use of the site be recovered. The loss of the site is a big disappointment and the restoration attempts were not made simple due to the complexity of the Fahlo proces..Version: 2.0.3
